Under the cover of night, the sprawling Medicine Gang Outpost erupted in bloodshed. But the violence ended as swiftly as it began.

Su Chen and his companions struck directly at the heart of the outpost, capturing over a dozen gang members without resistance. These men lacked conviction - sensing defeat, they surrendered immediately.

Tian Yi frowned at the group before him, suspicion flickering in his eyes. The operation had gone too smoothly. From his intelligence, this Medicine Town outpost should have ranked among the top five of Medicine Gang's strongholds. Yet only a dozen men guarded this critical location.

"Speak!" Tian Yi barked. "Where is your hall master Liu Ming?"

The captives trembled. "We truly don't know, honorable sir!"

"Hmph! Playing dumb? I'll show you what happens when you refuse cooperation", Tian Yi threatened, his voice darkening.

Despite beatings from the officers, the gangsters maintained their ignorance. One interjected cautiously, "Perhaps they really don't know, Chief Tian?"

Tian Yi shook his head. "Don't be fooled by appearances. These vermin never speak truthfully. If one or two were ignorant, that's believable. But all of them? Impossible."

He stepped forward, blade glinting. "Last chance - answer my question, or die."

As his eyes swept the group, a gangster blurted, "We don't know!"

A flash of steel. A spray of blood. The man beside him collapsed, throat slit.

"You dare?!" the questioned man gasped.

Tian Yi smiled coldly. "If he won't talk, I'll kill you all. But speak the truth, and I'll spare your lives."

"What?!" they cried in unison.

"Why punish us?!"

"I swear we don't know!"

Tian Yi ignored their protests. He fixed his gaze on the original witness. "Where is Liu Ming?"

The man's face paled. Sweat beaded on his brow. "I... truly don't know..."

Another crack. Another corpse.

"Where is Liu Ming?!" Tian Yi's voice sliced through the air like a demon's whisper.

The man clamped his lips shut.

Tian Yi smiled. "Silence means death."

"Mercy!" a nearby gangster screamed. "I'll talk! That bastard won't speak, so let me!"

"You dare?!"

"Shut up! You're not the one dying!"

"Master Liu will never forgive you!"

Another crack. Another life extinguished. Tian Yi turned to the next man. "Now, will you talk?"

The man swallowed hard. "I'll speak - but spare us."

"Agreed. Cooperation means survival."

"He's at Tongshantang Charity Hall! They go there monthly - his turn came early because of some urgent matter."

"Where's your treasury?"

"Storage house, but funds were recently transferred to the gang headquarters."

After extracting more details, Tian Yi turned to Su Chen. "Tongshantang Charity Hall is an orphanage near here. If Liu Ming's truly there, we must apprehend him."

Su Chen nodded silently.

"Su Chen, take men through the rear. Jiang and Huang, flank left and right. I'll lead the frontal assault. Move in fifteen minutes!" Tian Yi commanded.

Su Chen and Hong Ming reached the charity hall's back entrance. At Tian Yi's signal, they stormed in.

The door exploded inward. "Enemy attack! Warn Master Liu!" the gangsters shouted in panic.

Su Chen moved like lightning, felling five men before they could react. Three messengers turned to flee - he cut them down mid-step.

Hong Ming and the others stood stunned. "We didn't even get to fight", one muttered.

"Move out", Su Chen ordered, ignoring their awe.

The sound of battle guided them forward. Tian Yi struggled against a burly middle-aged man with bushy brows.

"Su Chen!" Tian Yi called. "This is Liu Ming - help me finish him!"
