Chapter 833: Has the Navyweakened?
Chapter 833: Has the Navyweakened?
Tenfold volume, Tenfold acceleration—the power unleashed isn’t simply ten times stronger.
Even the simplest bullet fired at twice the speed isn’t just twice as powerful as the original firearm. How much more devastating would a Tenfold laser cannon be?
Bigger builds mean slower reactions. At least for smaller beings, even if the larger entity considers its response normal speed, to them, it feels slow.
Facing this colossal, high-speed laser cannon, Bartholomew’s giant form couldn’t react in time. The laser struck his chest directly.
The Haki shielding him dissolved instantly. A build this massive surpassed all historical titans, even enveloping full-body Haki. But Bartholomew wasn’t foolish enough to pour all his Haki into this defense.
Which meant—this body would be pierced in one strike!
Boom!!
A gaping hole tore through the giant’s chest center, ejecting a cross-armed mechanical human mid-explosion. The force slammed him into the ground, fracturing the earth into a massive fissure.
Crash!!
The laser detonated on impact, erupting into a blinding sphere of light that forced eyes shut. As the radiance faded, a mushroom-shaped plume of smoke and debris rose skyward.
At the island’s flattest heart, a circular crater now pooled with seawater emerged—like a second Rome reborn.
Yet beside this "Inland Sea", the mechanical human still stood on land, arms crossed, Haki radiating an eerie black-blue glow. Smoke curled from his arms.
He had blocked it!
"Their turn to act now", Dracule Mihawk said, eyes fixed on the battlefield. He shot forward mid-air, landing swiftly on the shore.
"Dracule Mihawk!"
The mechanical human’s deep voice rumbled as the silhouette of a Qipao-clad woman descended beside him. She straightened her long legs, tilting her head back haughtily. "Hmph. Bartholomew? This one shall test you."
"Ah, Boa Hancock."
"Hey! Hey! Don’t descend yet!" A soil mass plummeted from the sky, followed by a figure in a billowing long robe drifting downward.
"I don’t want to come down!" Buggy shouted.
The mechanical man turned, silent for a moment. "Buggy?"
Buggy roared, "Why so surprised? I’m Buggy! One of the Seven Warlords of the Sea! Long time no see, Bartholomew!!"
Old acquaintances. When Buggy trained under Roger, their paths first crossed.
"Seven Warlords of the Sea now?"
The mechanical form paused again, lifting its head toward the skyward figure.
Has the Navyweakened?
No. With Golden Lion Shiki here, the Navy remains strong.
But if the Navy hasn’t weakened…
Why is Buggy here?
Three Seven Warlords already gathered. Meanwhile, Lida and Klah descended, joining them.
Black specks darted across the sky.
Countless stone platforms rained down—each bearing a Navy officer wearing hooded cloaks. They scattered, encircling Bartholomew in a perfect ring. Not a single one below Commander rank!
"Bartholomew!"
Togeko landed, hand gripping his sword hilt. "You’re surrounded. Surrender!"
Aokiji bit his cigar, arrogance dripping. "Just attack. No need for rules with this wicked one."
Doflamingo nodded in agreement.
"Vice Admirals?" Bartholomew growled.
Before this elite swarm of Vice Admirals and Seven Warlords, Kuro descended last. He bit his cigar, gripping Autumn Water, standing at their head. "For someone like you? We all go together."
What level was Bartholomew?
Four Emperors tier. Peak condition.
Lucky he had no pirate crew—otherwise Kuro wouldn’t dare dream of capturing him.
But now, alone.
And Kuro? He stripped Marine Headquarters of half its core strength. Every Vice Admiral who’d ever worked with him stood here.
With this many elites, even a Four Emperors-level opponent could be handled!
Plus, there was Hawk-Eye and Snake Princess. Two formidable allies.
"Hmph! Perfect!" Bartholomew’s voice turned gruesome. "After defeating you all, I’ll be the world’s strongest!"
A white shadow descended beside Kuro.
"Let me join too."
Rob Lucci materialized. "Kuro, that item’s with you, right?"
"You left Mariejois to come here?" Kuro glanced sideways. "What item?"
With the Navy present, Lucci dropped pretenses. "That thing. I saw you take it from the screen. Festa didn’t hide everything. Seeing Bartholomew’s ability made me realize—he wanted to provoke the Pacifista. But this intelligence… we confirmed it’s a pointer to One Piece."
"One Piece?!"
Buggy’s eyes bulged. "Laugh Tale?! Impossible! The captain should’ve left no records!"
He missed that voyage—sick at the time. Shanks stayed back to care for him.
They never learned Laugh Tale’s secrets.
"One Piece."
Dracule Mihawk’s eyes widened. Even he showed shock.
Boa Hancock’s face paled, staring at Kuro.
Vice Admirals froze—some silent, others stunned, a few deep in thought.
Commanders’ pupils contracted, shocked to their cores.
One Piece!
The world’s greatest treasure! The true treasure left by Gol D. Roger!
Did Kuro obtain it?
"You blind?" Kuro rolled his eyes, gesturing around. "I saw the pointer. Because I saw it, I eliminated those pirates. But this terrain? Flat as a pancake? You think there’s any pointer here?"
He pointed at Bartholomew. "He destroyed it already!"
Earlier, seawater engulfed it. Bartholomew struck once. Debris clumped together. Such a massive battle—what fragile pointer could survive?
Lucci nodded. "Better destroyed than in someone’s hands."
"Overblown", a voice scoffed.
Dust swirled as Crocodile emerged, followed by Daz Bones.
He smirked. "A Marineford War replay?"
"Long time, Crocodile", Bartholomew rumbled.
They’d fought nineteen years ago—ended in a draw.
"Tch. There’s something I want from you", Crocodile said, eyeing Kuro. "But if it’s destroyed, forget it."
He wasn’t a fool. With this scale, whether the pointer survived or not—whether it was Kuro’s or Bartholomew’s—mattered little.
No way to snatch it now.

Of course, even more desired—a Silver Sprout.)
