Chapter 83: Zoroark's Visit
Chapter 83: Zoroark’s Visit
Leaving Home?
This situation is quite typical for rebellious teenagers in the Pokemon world.
He remembered the story of his son, Luxio, who left home because he loved participating in Contests but feared his father's disapproval.
As a teacher, Jing He felt it was best to persuade and support.
But persuasion requires skill, especially when dealing with seriously rebellious teens. The first step is to listen.
Start by laying down big truths; others’ parents won’t just talk, right?
【Jinzhi】: Your kid might be a bit bold, what happened?
But the other party was clearly not online, and Jing He’s message didn’t get an immediate reply.
Then, he responded to other messages.
Finally, he saw the muted "Eeveat eats Cabbage," and Jing He shook his head.
Ugly Fish evolved, losing a steady income.
“Earning is so hard.”
Still, he continued to mix energy blocks to see if it could help with household expenses.
Walking back into the house.
“Ooh~~”
The Glace’s mouth slightly open, exhaling a cold breath while shivering from the size of the ice grains.
While on the other side, Zoroark was being intimidated by the ice shards hitting his face, making him punch the air, displaying a "Shadow punch."
With the "bang pang pang" sounds, the ice grains shattered and fell to the ground.
Jing He’s lips twitched.
Good, good, a turn of skills, and you guys are practicing together.
At this moment, the two little ones seemed to realize the ice grains had fallen to the ground.
“Grrr~~”
Zoroark laughed sarcastically.
“Eeow~~”
The little Glace lowered its head in acknowledgment.
Then Jing He took a big glass and placed it in front of Zoroark and Glace, who looked at it with confused eyes.
“Zoroark, put the ice grains in the glass,” Jing he said.
“Grrr?”
Zoroark and Glace were confused.
Is this a new training method?
But it was just as usual.
Soon, the glass was filled with a lot of ice grains.
Jing he took out half-finished mixed fruit juices in various colors from the "fruit mixer."
“What flavors do you want to eat?”
At this moment, Zoroark and little Glace reacted.
It’s ice grains!
“Grrr!” (Zero-flavored!)
Zoroark liked the "sour" flavor, and Jing he knew this well, so he had prepared the light purple Zero-flavored juice early.
Little Glace thought for a long time.
“Eeow.” (Persimmon flavor?)
Actually, little Glace didn’t particularly hate the fruit flavors; it might be related to the difficulty of eating fruits before, so it leaned more towards complex layers of fruit juices.
Pouring their favorite flavors.
Jing he poured himself the Limon juice, sour with a hint of sweetness, paired with the coolness of the ice grains, which was quite refreshing.
“Watch a movie?” Jing he suggested.
“Grrr!”
“Eeow!”
And so.
Jing he brought the two little ones to sit in front of the TV, eating ice grains and watching a “horror” movie, making it an ordinary yet fulfilling day.
“Zoroark, don’t be scared! What are you afraid of in the ‘horror’ movie?”
“This plot isn’t as scary as I write.”
The next morning.
Zoroark held the fork and knife, and little Glace sat at the dining table, wrapped in a towel.
“Grrr~~(`﹃)”
“Eeow~~”
The kitchen was filled with the sounds of Jing he making breakfast.
Dong dongs—
Knocking sounds came from the door.
Without waiting for Jing he to speak, Zoroark, with a puff of smoke, ran to the door but didn’t open it, directly sticking his head out.
“Grrr?”
Who?
Then, the floor’s residents thought someone was preparing to cook small pig.
A few minutes later.
“Sorry, sorry”
Wearing an apron, Jing he apologized to the delivery person with all his might and secretly gave the delivery person a few energy blocks, finally earning their forgiveness.
It’s not that the delivery person was scared, but mainly because the old residential area’s hallway lighting wasn’t great.
A grotesque head suddenly appeared at the door, and anyone would have been startled.
Fortunately, the cargo was fine.
Hawlucha carried the crates of Milk Milk inside.
Jing He had placed the order last night, and it was delivered today. The logistics in the Pokemon world were quite impressive.
Jing He casually picked up a bottle and, under the resentful gaze of Gengar, drank a can of Milk Milk openly.
"Next time you scare me, I'll break your legs!"
Jing He put on a fake angry face and waved the shovel in his hand.
"Ku, ku! Σ(дlll)"
"Ooow~"
"Hey, Gengar, where do you even have legs?"
Little Vulpix tilted its head and said.
"Ku!"
Right!
A light bulb flashed above Gengar's head, and it quickly patted its chest.
Scaring the life out of someone.
"Alright, come over and have breakfast."
Jing He called out with a stern face.
Gengar and Vulpix exchanged glances and both smiled.
Such a tough-talking, soft-hearted guy.
Halfway through breakfast, Jing He's phone rang.
He picked it up to see it was Dianthus again.
After answering, he heard:
"Teacher Jing He, Metalix evolved!"
Jing He was taken aback.
Finally evolved into the iconic Shiny Metagross?
Jing He smiled. "Congratulations to you and Metalix. Now you should call it Metagross."
"Thanks to your guidance, Metagross is much better now."
Dianthus was quick to inform Jing He, both to share the joy and to express gratitude.
In truth, Dianthus's Metalix was already quite strong, but some minor psychological issues, along with Dianthus's own confusion, had hindered its evolution.
Now, with guidance and Dianthus gradually overcoming his confusion, the evolution was inevitable.
Now, with "handsome, strong, and rich" all in one, things were complete.
Jing He, as Dianthus's teacher, was quite pleased.
They chatted for a bit, and then Dianthus hurried off to test Metagross's new abilities.
Jing He continued his breakfast and planned out the day.
"Today, we'll go to Kanto Department Store first. We're running low on Berries, and I'll see if I can get you a few more TMs. Then we'll head to the Pokemon Center."
Before he could finish, his phone rang again.
Doesn't anyone let me eat breakfast in peace?
Jing He picked up the phone and answered.
A voice came through.
"Where are you?"
Hmm?
A female voice, quite pleasant, and it felt... familiar.
Jing He looked at the caller ID.
It showed "Eevee Eats Cabbage."
He was taken aback for a second.
Cynthia?
He turned to look out the window.
It was daytime.
"Are you there?" Cynthia asked again.
Jing He snapped back to reality.
"I'm in Hoenn."
"I know, where in Hoenn?"
"Uh, Kanto City."
"Got it."
With that, the call ended.
Got it?
Got what?
Is she coming to Hoenn?
But then again, that Geodude would indeed be hard to "handle" without a face-to-face meeting.
Turning around, he saw Gengar and Vulpix with their ears perked up.
A black line appeared on Jing He's forehead.
He said to Gengar:
"Geodude is coming to play with you."
"Ku?! (д〃)"
