Chapter 83: Release and Sanjiang Recommendation
Chapter 83: Release and Sanjiang Recommendation (Requesting Monthly Votes)
First, the release is scheduled for tomorrow, this Sunday, which is December 1st.
If everything goes as planned, it will go live at midnight, with a 10,000-word update on the first day. I'll aim for six updates a day afterward, but please bear with me as I type very slowly.
Of course, I hope everyone will support the initial subscription and continue reading!
Second, regarding the Sanjiang recommendation, this is something I never dared to dream of. To be honest, I was quite humble about it. When I started my first book, I didn't even know what a recommendation was. My second book only made it to the second round, so I never expected this one to do so well.
Thanks to the support of my readers, I decided to give it a try in the second week after releasing the book. It went through three rounds, and then, quite magically, it passed two more rounds. Last week, a big shot casually killed it during the Sanjiang round, and I didn't dare hope for it this week. But surprisingly, I managed to get another one (hands on hips).
Hehe, I won't say too much more. Thank you all so much for your support along the way. I love you all!

Here's a bit more about why I chose to write a female protagonist story. I've seen many people ask about this, Qaq.
It all started when I had an idea during my school days, a flash of inspiration, and I wrote a few chapters on a whim, encouraged by my friends.
Back then, I could barely type, struggling with the 26-key layout, and even resorted to handwriting on my phone. I still don't know why the editor decided to sign me.
Speaking of the editor, I must express my deep gratitude to my editor, Penglai!
After signing the contract, I thought, "Well, I'm in this now." Even though writing a female protagonist story was challenging, I couldn't let go of the novel that I had followed and loved throughout my youth. I persevered for two years, driven by my passion.
My first book was 3 million words long, starting with 50 initial subscribers and ending with 850 average subscribers. Pretty impressive, right?
The second book was a bit of a surprise. I was working a job after graduation, and due to some personal experiences, I developed moderate depression and anxiety. I spent over half a year on medication and eventually returned to my hometown to recuperate.
I won't go into too much detail about my past, as it might not be interesting to you. It wasn't due to family conflicts; I simply pushed myself too hard.
I almost ended my life in high school, so I have truly experienced that sense of aimlessness twice. It was a dark period.
It was during this time that I discovered web novels. Although this one is inspired by "Zhetian", I must admit that my favorite novel is "Quanfa", which gave me strength when I was most lost.
Novels are magical, aren't they? Web novels are not just a pastime.
I still remember the wings of the wind, how Mo Fan pursued magic, and how that inspired me to seek freedom and embark on the path of web novels.
But I digress. The second book, which is the previous one, was written when I wasn't in the best mental state. This led to some incomplete settings and less-than-ideal results.
However, it did meet my goal of 1,000 average subscribers, starting with 380. Another small step forward!
I rushed the ending of the second book, and my own mental state in reality affected the story, causing it to veer off course after the protagonist ascended. I decided to wrap it up quickly.
Some might call it a rushed ending, and I won't argue. I strayed from my original goal, and it's fair to call it a rushed ending.
I could have continued down that path and written another few hundred thousand words, but that wasn't what I wanted. So, I tried to give it a decent ending.
When a story should end, it should end. While 1,000 average subscribers could have earned me more royalties, it wouldn't have been right. It wasn't the story I wanted to share, so I ended it.
Emmmm, I seem to have said too much again. I guess I'm still like this.
Emotional and sensitive, with a history of social anxiety and introversion, plus my depression. No wonder many people online think I'm a girl.
But I'm not, I'm a tough guy!
It's a sad story, but in summary, I write web novels and female protagonist stories because of an accident, and some readers were willing to support me.
In real life, I'm quite reclusive and have few hobbies, so writing web novels, turning my fantasies into reality, became my only interest.
When I say I love you all, I mean it. You are all my good friends, very important to me. Every morning, the first thing I do is send good morning messages to many of you, even though we've never met.
I wrote the second book because people wanted to read more. Even when I was dealing with my depression, I continued to write because someone wanted to read it.
Oops, I've said too much again. I always lose control when writing these notes, Qaq.
Anyway, this book is because someone said it had a "Zhetian" feel, so I decided to write a "Zhetian" fanfiction.
Initially, I only planned to write a short story and then transition to something else, as writing a female protagonist story in the male-dominated web novel world is tough. But this book exceeded my expectations, and I was completely surprised.
It's hard to control, right? It's like saying you're done with your last job, but then, emmmm,
Yay, it's Flag King Qingya!
This is a heartfelt message, full of emotion. I wish all my readers health and longevity. I love you all!
(By the way, will anyone read this far?)
Finally, I should probably sacrifice a few books to help me ascend.
1. "Shushan Guardian Immortal"
2. "Promised Taishan Sect, Nine Dragons Coffin?!"
3. "Who Said This Card Was Abstract? This Card's Awesome!"
4. "Marvel: Chariot Rider but Transformers"
5. "Uh-Oh, They All Crave Me!"
6. "Huanghuang: Help Her Ascend, Then Propose To Me?!"
7. "Expiring Director, Maxed Sudden Enlightenment?!"
8. "Start with Naruto, Self-Made Strength"
9. "Infiltrate Konoha, Part-Time Hokage"
Sacrificing fellow writers to help me ascend, hehehe~
May you all be healthy and long-lived, I love you all!!
