Lu Chen reached out and grabbed the strange Lei Ku beast that pounced towards him, feeling relieved.
"Have you been alright these days?" he asked the beast with concern.
The Lei Ku beast shook its massive head. "There were human cultivators who tried to intrude into our territory, but we joined forces and drove them back." It conveyed its response to Lu Chen through a thought.
"Well done. You deserve a reward." Lu Chen smiled and took out several Thunder Lotus pills from his storage bag, stuffing them into the Lei Ku beast's mouth.
The beast swallowed them whole, and its belly rumbled with thunderous sounds, its expression filled with pleasure.
"Little guy, if you trust me, take me into your territory again. I need to discuss something with Elder Lei Xu," Lu Chen said gently as he stroked the silver-white horn of the crouching beast.
There was no suspicion in the Lei Ku beast's eyes. Instead, it surged with endless thunderous light, enveloping Lu Chen as it swiftly flew deep into the Thunder Sea.
Upon entering the territory, they were once again greeted by the tadpole-like thunderballs wandering everywhere. However, compared to before, the thunderballs now emanated a much more active spiritual thunder aura.

"You're here just in time," the Qingjiao Lei Xu said.
"Senior has shown kindness to me, and I, Lu Chen, will never forget that. When I heard that many Core Formation cultivators were eyeing your territory, I rushed over as soon as I could," he affirmed his loyalty.
"It's enough that you have this intention," the Qingjiao Lei Xu nodded its head. "These are minor matters. The most important thing is, did you bring me that Monkey Demon Wine?"
"Also, help me clean up the newly grown Thunder Death Crystals." The ancient beast seemed unconcerned about the intruding cultivators.
"How could I forget?" Lu Chen took out a small bottle of Monkey Demon Wine from his storage bag and presented it to the Qingjiao Lei Xu. Then, he leaped onto the giant beast's back.
"The aging process is accelerating," Lu Chen sighed as he sensed the Thunder Death Crystals that had fused with the Qingjiao Lei Xu's body.
Each time he visited, he noticed that the number of Thunder Death Crystals that appeared during the same period of time was increasing, indicating that the ancient beast before him was drawing closer to its demise.
"Senior, as far as I know, quite a few Golden Core cultivators are planning to join forces and intrude into your territory," Lu Chen warned as he helped clean the Thunder Death Crystals.
"They are but insignificant insects. There's no need to worry," the Qingjiao Lei Xu said nonchalantly as it savored the fine wine.
"But when there are too many insects, they can still bite a person to death, especially when they are Golden Core cultivators," Lu Chen argued.
"The Lei Ku beasts in the territory are relatively weaker. If they encounter those cultivators, they are likely to be severely injured or even face unforeseen dangers," the Qingjiao Lei Xu conceded after a moment of silence.
