Chapter 797: The Convergence of Fate
Staring at Split in Two’s Singo, Stuffed Bun first let out a reflexive smirk of Schadenfreude—then quickly forced a sorrowful expression, raising his hand in a gesture of Intervene.
“Hardcore Player… I’ll avenge you—”
But from the corpse before him, a translucent ghostly figure drifted upward.
“Cut the dramatics, damn it! If you keep this up, we’re all going Full Party Defeat!”
“You’re not dead?”
“Soul Amulet. It lets me exist in Spiritual Soul form for fifteen minutes after Meat Death. Guess I had to use it sooner than expected.”
“Wait—turn your head!”
“Holy—!” Stuffed Bun instinctively ducked his head.
A beam laced with Necrotic Aura streaked past his ear, striking a nearby Human. The man’s flesh instantly withered, collapsing into a shriveled, skeletal corpse.
He turned, heart pounding. There, suspended in midair, was the Ancient Green Dragon—wings spread wide, encased in a storm of Acid and Poison Mist. Her narrow, needle-like Vertical Pupils glowed with the cold, unnatural gleam of Necromancy spells.
To her side, six Regiment Ghost Flames writhed like spectral serpents, their flickering forms ever-ready to consume the Spiritual Souls of the living.
Green Dragons were natural Spellcasters—among them, Ulrichia, known as “Toxic Emerald,” stood as one of the most fearsome. As an Ancient Dragon, she wielded mastery over Necromancy and Illusion, her magical prowess rivaling that of a High-level Mage.
With a slow, deliberate motion, Ulrichia extended her Claw into empty space. From the void, she drew forth a Scepter forged of white bone and Skeleton—crude yet terrifying in its power. She swung it casually.
Instantly, a horde of Malevolent Spirits erupted from a Blood Pool, shrieking in agony as they surged toward the nearby Humans. These untrained Civilians, unprepared for such horrors, were instantly Possessed—transformed into mindless puppets under Ulrichia’s command.
Now red-eyed, drooling at the corners of their mouths, the possessed Humans lunged at their former comrades with frenzied abandon. In panic, they tore at the necks and faces of their friends, ripping out bloody chunks of Meat.
“Don’t come any closer!”
“Back off—I’ll open fire with my Rifle!”
“Who are you?!”
“Get out of him—get out!”
Their cries were drowned by the screams of the dying.
And when their bodies finally fell—most slaughtered by panicked allies firing wildly—the Malevolent Spirits would flee their corpses, laughing with eerie delight, then vanish into the shadows to claim new victims.
Stuffed Bun loaded an Enchanted Bullet into his Rifle and fired—BANG!—blasting one of the spirits into a shower of Spiritual Ash.
“It’s hopeless! How do we even fight this Ancient Dragon Boss? She’s got control, massive damage, absurd physical and magical resistance, spawns minions, and this Root system won’t even work on her—!”
Singo, now a Spiritual Soul, pulled out a Dagger and plunged it into a charging Malevolent Spirit. The creature shattered into glowing fragments, its form consumed by sudden flame.
“Now? One word: Drag! According to my Intelligence, our Main Force is about to breach the city. Pull her out of the Dragon Breeding Ground and lure her to the Outer City. Once she’s there, we’ll launch a Coordinated Attack from both inside and outside—let the Mechanical Divinity’s fleet turn this Ancient Dragon into scrap!”
“Got it!”
Stuffed Bun, Xia Ye Qiu Yu, Tian Sheng Zhan Kuang, and the other Players shouted in unison.
Xia Ye Qiu Yu fixed her gaze on the distant Ancient Green Dragon, then let out a mocking laugh.
“So… that foolish Green Dragon is your Offspring? I’m surprised you’re not more upset. Burn the Heart of Grotar? Feels pretty good, actually.”
A flash of fury ignited in Ulrichia’s eyes. Her voice cracked like thunder.
“You—dare to interfere with Tiamat’s kin? You insolent bastard!”
In an instant, multiple rays of Undead Energy lashed out, each carrying destructive force enough to reduce a Mortal to dust.
But Xia Ye Qiu Yu raised one hand. From her palm, Dragon Flame erupted, forming a thick wall of energy in midair.
Boom!
The two forces collided in a cataclysmic Explosion. The spreading Undead Energy seared through the surrounding Humans, aging them in seconds—skin wrinkling, hair turning gray, bones creaking.
She didn’t hesitate. Her gaze sharpened. With a swift flick of her Right Hand, Fire surged like a frenzied beast, ripping through space and tearing open a rift leading to the Surface World.
Under the Altar’s influence, long-distance Space Teleportation was impossible—but piercing through the Ground? That was still achievable.
“Let’s go!”
Xia Ye Qiu Yu leapt through the Flame Portal first.
Tian Sheng Zhan Kuang vaulted after her, diving into the blaze.
Great威 Tianlong, Langli BaiTiao, and the others followed in quick succession.
Ulrichia roared in rage, flapping her massive Wings, charging toward the Portal with storm-wracked fury.
The entire Cave trembled. Debris rained from the ceiling. The Human Sacrifices, panicked and screaming, scattered in all directions.
But Ulrichia no longer cared about them.
Her sole purpose was clear.
—Annihilate every Empire filth who dared kill Grotar, who dared desecrate Tiamat. Leave none alive!
“You won’t escape—”
Stuffed Bun, drenched in cold sweat, bolted toward the Portal.
“Wait for me!”
Just as the Ancient Green Dragon’s fangs closed in, his body shot through the rift—now emerging in the Capital District of Linying City.
“Who are you?! How did you get into the Capital District?! The frontlines are tense—how dare you flee here?!”
“No—wait! That’s an Invasion force!”
“Seize them! Execute them if necessary!”
Two-legged Flying Dragon Cavalry surged forward, weapons raised, screaming through the air as they dove toward the group.
“Find Death!”
Tian Sheng Zhan Kuang stepped forward, roaring into the sky, raising his Battle Axe high. With a thunderous swing, he split a Wyvern in two—blood spraying across the street.
“Foul traitor! How dare you kill the Dragon Queen’s guard!”
“Don’t spare the subordinates! Annihilate them! Use their blood to Ritualize the Great Mother of Monsters!”
The guards screamed, riding their Dragon Beasts from all sides, encircling the survivors.
Xia Ye Qiu Yu scanned the area with cold precision. She pointed North.
“We head north—join up with the Main Force!”
A burst of Flame Rays shot from her fingertip, piercing the leading Lion-Dragon Knight. His fur ignited instantly, and he screamed as he burned to ash.
Great威 Tianlong and Tian Sheng Zhan Kuang charged north, two titans of close combat.
“Dare to stand in my way?!”
The towering Bald Monk, nearly six meters tall, roared, swinging a fist the size of a cauldron like a Heavy Hammer. He crushed everything in his path into pulpy messes.
Tian Sheng Zhan Kuang bellowed, his Blood-Soaked Battle Axe carving a path through the enemy like a Meat Grinder, unleashing a storm of massacre.
In just a few breaths, the northern ring was littered with corpses. Rivers of Blood. Over twenty elite Dragon Worship Church guards lay dead in the Blood Pool.
The other Players surged forward, breaking through the encirclement and fleeing toward the northern edge.
Then—crack!
The ground trembled violently. Spiderweb cracks split the street, widening rapidly, stretching toward the fleeing players.
They turned, faces pale with panic.
“That’s…”
“No way… could it be—”
Boom!
Rock, soil, and dust exploded skyward as a massive, grim figure burst from below. It rose, head high, letting out a deafening roar.
“Roar—!”
“Damned Empire filth!”
From the dust, two glowing amber eyes pierced the air—cold, merciless, as if they could see through space itself, freezing the blood in every Player’s veins.
“That’s… Ulrichia-sama!” one Guard shouted, pointing to the sky in shock.
But before he could finish, the ground collapsed beneath him. A fallen Monolith and a cloud of debris buried him instantly.
“Hurry up!”
Xia Ye Qiu Yu unfurled her Dragon Wings and shot northward at blinding speed.
Great威 Tianlong channeled Qi, leaping across rooftops with inhuman agility, fleeing like the wind.
Stuffed Bun raised his arm, the Contract on his hand flaring red. A Two-Legged Flying Dragon Noodles erupted into the air, and he leapt onto its back, gliding down with precision.
The others used every trick they had—flying, leaping, sprinting—desperately escaping northward.
“Think you can run?”
The Ancient Green Dragon slowly unfurled her wings, rising nearly a hundred meters into the air. Then—Dive!—she plummeted toward the fleeing players, roaring:
“Empire scum! I’ll shred you into a thousand pieces and make you suffer Eternity!”
A storm of fury followed her descent. Streets were torn apart. Buildings collapsed. The entire city seemed to be swallowed by chaos.
Wherever she passed, all was Destruction.
Houses crumbled. People fled in terror. Ulrichia soared across the Surface World with terrifying speed.
She locked onto the last few Players, slowly opening her Bloody Maw. Deep within her throat, an emerald-green Orb pulsed with sickly light.
Boom—
A thick torrent of emerald-green energy erupted from her mouth—Piercing space, engulfing the fleeing players in an instant.
In a single breath, their Flesh and Bone were erased—leaving only a thin, evaporating mist.
“Get down!”
“Noodles!”
Stuffed Bun yanked the reins, twisting the Wyvern’s head violently. It flipped sideways, narrowly avoiding the blast.
The Emerald Torrent sliced past the Two-Headed Dragon’s chest, leaving a dark, scorched trail across its belly.
Then—BOOM!—the beam struck a building ahead, punching through dozens of walls. The entire Architectural Complex collapsed into rubble.
Stuffed Bun flew through the dust cloud, panting, then slapped his chest.
“Phew… that was close. Almost got blown to bits.”
But then—a surge of Aura.
His Wyvern trembled violently, letting out a pained cry. Stuffed Bun felt a chill in his heart.
He turned slowly.
There, staring at him with cold, predatory eyes, was the Ancient Green Dragon. Her lips curled into a fierce, cruel smile.
“Shhh—”
A massive, storm-wrapped Dragon Claw descended upon him—a terrifying presence.
One Player caught in the storm was torn apart in an instant—flesh ripped open, bones scattered like debris. The sight made Stuffed Bun’s stomach churn.
“Shit! Noodles, forget it—straight down!”
He screamed, yanking the reins hard, pressing his body flat against the Wyvern’s back—plummeting vertically into the dust cloud.
The Dragon was large—slow in its movements.
They plunged through the chaos, avoiding the claw’s impact—and just in time, escaping the storm’s grasp.
But the rest of the players behind?
They were all torn apart—no remains left—just scattered fragments in the dust.
Great威 Tianlong danced across the debris in midair, dodging with incredible speed—yet Ulrichia opened her maw and snapped at him like a trap.
Crack!
The Bald Monk’s stone-like flesh shattered. Blood gushed. Toxins from the Dragon’s mouth ravaged his body.
In seconds, the great warrior dissolved into a rain of Meat Scraps and bone.
“Shhh—”
Stuffed Bun burst from the churning dust cloud, eyes widening.
“Almost there! We’re reaching the Outer District!”
With keen Wisdom, Tian Sheng Zhan Kuang heard the distant sounds—Artillery roars, Steam Engine hisses, the battle cries of “For the Empire!” “For the Emperor!”
“Do you hear it? That’s our Main Force! They’re Siegeing!”
“Hurry up!”
Now, only ten Players remained in Linying City—elite in survival, at least.
“Then I’ll finish you all at once.”
Ulrichia flared her wings, ascending to hundreds of meters above. She raised her Dragonhead Scepter high.
“Rebel Empire filth—shudder before the Divine Presence of Queen Tiamat!”
“Mother of Five Heads, Lord of Scales and Claws! May your Wings shield all realms, and may all creatures kneel before the Dragon’s Might!”
Instantly, the Phantom of the Five-Headed Dragon reactivated in the sky. Its Vertical Pupils glowed with deep, unyielding light. From above, a storm of Endless Flame, Thunderbolts, Frost, and Acid rained down—a devastating Elemental Storm.
Boom!
One Player was struck by Lightning mid-air—reduced to charcoal in an instant.
Another was engulfed in fire, screaming as he turned to ash.
A powerful Warrior Player was frozen in place by a White Dragon’s Frost—his skin coated in ice, unable to move.
Ulrichia laughed madly, charging forward, crushing the Ice Statue under her massive claw.
Then—a cold voice, clear and sharp, echoed from afar.
“Ulrichia!”
The Ancient Green Dragon turned. A foreign, equal Aura of Intimidation washed over her. Her brows furrowed. Her expression hardened.
There, in the distance, a red-haired, golden-eyed Dragon Maiden hovered in midair, staring back at her with icy calm.
Below her, Adrian radiated Golden Light. Duke Franz stood beside him, gripping a Massive Sword, eyes locked on the Ancient Dragon—full of fury and hatred.
