They also had to return the stones to their original timelines to prevent the creation of damaged timelines.

So, even he, whenever he left, would anchor a specific time point rather than use the laws of time to reverse it upon return.

However, the fundamental time laws in this universe were clearly different. Time in this universe was reversible, and any reversal would alter the entire future of the universe.

If he recalled correctly, a scientist named Bolivar Trask would, ten years from now, capture a large number of mutants for experimentation. He would achieve a crucial breakthrough using Mystique's genetic material.

This would lead to the invention of the Sentinel, a new type of combat robot capable of detecting and simulating mutant Dna.

Theoretically, if Jerry wanted to, he could use his time laws to adjust the timeline of this universe, whether it be traveling to the past or the future.

He knew what Hank was working on with the Gene Serum, but that wasn't important. Building a good relationship with Hank would help him quickly develop the Cerebro.

A year from now, he would upgrade the Cerebro to be able to locate any mutant on Earth, so he could find Jean the moment she was born.
