Chapter 770: Clearsky
Chapter 770: Clearsky
A Nature Spirit gracefully strolled back and forth in front of Lindsey.
She leaped and danced in the boundless void, her figure as light as a true maiden.
But before a string of questions could finish...
The Nature Spirit interrupted herself once more, refocusing her gaze on Lindsey's face, and exclaimed in realization:
"Oh! I haven't introduced myself yet?"
"You can skip the long-winded names of Element Beings; just call me Clearsky. I'm sure you'll like it!"
Immediately, the Nature Spirit, or Clearsky, extended her right hand towards Lindsey, offering a handshake:
"My new friend, what's your name?"
Lindsey reached out and shook her hand, feeling an icy coolness, yet a tangible physical touch. With her keen perception, she could even sense the state of the blood beneath the other's skin.
"..."
"I'm Lindsey."
In the blink of an eye, a fleshly body was created.
Nature Spirit, the pinnacle of Element Beings.
Referring to the Earth Element in the Element Realm that had helped restore the world, Lindsey could deduce that Clearsky was also an Eighth Stage existence, possessing world-class Essence Skills and immense power!
With this realization, questions flooded her mind.
In the face of such a Nature Spirit, the Seventh Stage battles might seem like child's play. If the spirit truly cherished peace and cared for humanity, she wouldn't have allowed the world to fall into such disarray...
"Lindsey, why aren't you saying anything?"
Clearsky's thoughts were as swift as the wind.
Lindsey didn't respond immediately, and Clearsky approached her again, this time casually placing her arm on Lindsey's shoulder:
"What's wrong? Are you shy?"
"Is it because your wife is right here, so you can't respond to my enthusiasm?"
Lindsey's eyes widened.
Arona, standing beside Lindsey, was more anxious than Lindsey herself, like a fan witnessing their idol being disrespected:
"Lord Lindsey! He's not..."
"I got sidetracked!" Clearsky laughed, then turned to Arona. "Little girl, what's your name? Can't you see? I can give you a Wind Sense Aura blessing."
Arona replied softly:
"I'm Arona."
"Your Highness, due to the spatial chaos, the creatures in the world's center are struggling to endure. That's why we've come here, seeking hope..."
Goo—
Lindsey suddenly heard the sound of gas being blown up.
She turned to see Clearsky's cheeks puffed up, expressing displeasure:
"Look at you, as if I'd willingly do this!"
"Your Lord Lindsey might know that my condition isn't much better. I'm here to recuperate and heal. Unless those little ones come to me, I won't take action."
Lindsey nodded:
"Yes, in an ancient great war, heroes from the Element Realm fought valiantly and suffered significant injuries. They are all recovering now."
"Exactly!" Clearsky was pleased with Lindsey's agreement. "I was at the forefront back then! It's because Dust Path World has a good environment and is close to City of Law that I stayed here..."
As Clearsky's speech accelerated, Lindsey quickly interrupted:
"Clearsky, shouldn't we discuss the Feathered Serpent?"
Clearsky snapped back to attention:
"Oh, right, we need to deal with that little beast."
"That guy was an Evil Deity during the era of divine rampage. If he's awakened and summoned followers from ancient beliefs, things could get complicated.
Lindsey persisted, "If that's the case, do you have a way to deal with it?"
Clearsky's solution was straightforward, "There are two ways. First, lure it in front of me, and that's the end of it. Or, you guys find that guy and handle it yourselves. I recall that deities, especially evil ones, are universally acknowledged as enemies. If the news gets out, can you all work together?"
"Even though this guy is a Seventh Stage existence with divine attributes, with your numbers, you can definitely take him down!"
"Right, this is for you!"
Clearsky's thoughts were incredibly agile.
After stating the solutions, she leaned in to kiss Lindsey on the cheek.
"With this, we're like brothers made for each other!"
Lindsey was bewildered throughout.
Until he noticed the change in his attributes.
[Wind Breath - Enhances perception of Wind Element and initial affinity with Wind Element lifeforms.]
It was identical to the effect of [Mountain Blessing].
Lindsey checked his attribute panel and confirmed the purpose of his visit with Clearsky:
"Clearsky, I have another matter to discuss with you."
"The spatial chaos in the Inner Ring World is extremely challenging for ordinary people and has become a severe threat to survival. If you can stop the battles between Seventh Stage Awakeners, can you..."
Before Lindsey could finish, Clearsky cut in:
"I'm afraid I can't help with that."
"That thing has merged with the concept of space after use, and it's no longer in my possession. You can either wait for its effects to gradually fade or actively suppress it."
Without needing to be asked, Clearsky pointed towards the western sky:
"Over there is the Core Pillar, the anchor of the world's core."
"If you get there and find a way to tear through the Will Barrier, you'll be able to locate the spatial node near the pillar and put an end to the chaos here."
Alright then!
Looks like it's time to head back!
Lindsey's face darkened.
Turns out the Random Teleport Potion had directly thrown him at the quest completion point.
"..."
Lindsey didn't want to keep this 'good news' to himself, so he immediately opened the friend channel.
Lindsey: [Alice, I have some good news for you.]
Alice: [Huh?]
Lindsey: [That Elemental Being is willing to cooperate and end the spatial chaos. But the problem is, she's also at a loss about this phenomenon.]
Alice: [She? She can't do it? Are you sure she's not tricking you?]
Lindsey: [I'm sure. And I've confirmed some news - to end this spatial chaos, we must go to where the Core Pillar is located.]
Alice: [Lindsey!!! You...]
Lindsey closed the friend channel as soon as he finished conveying the message.
His gaze met Clearsky's, and looking at the Wind Element Dominator before him, he suddenly remembered something.
Considering Clearsky's personality, Lindsey spoke up directly:
"Clearsky, can you get me a few Wind Element Crystals?"
"..."
"Huh?"
Clearsky's expression froze, and then she burst into laughter.
Powerful airflow manifested within the Hurricane Fortress, rapidly gathering around the maiden. After swift compression and shaping, the semi-transparent crystals in her hands gushed out like a fountain.
"Element Crystals?"
"In that case, you've come to the right person. I can get as many of these as you want!"
