Chapter 77: Launch Acknowledgment
Today: Three chapters.
Tomorrow: Release day — no more midnight drops. I don’t want to disrupt your sleep schedules.
Instead, the next release will be at Next Day Noon, 12:00 PM.
Expect around Five chapters, and they’ll be substantial in word count — not just filler.
This time, I didn’t deliberately hold back the climax. Honestly, the moment when the protagonist casually reveals his sword prowess outside the city gates would’ve been the perfect peak to drop right before launch. But the following arcs are shaping up to be even more thrilling — I’ve read the outline myself, and it’s genuinely satisfying. You’ll want to see it unfold.
This month’s release is a bit late. I’m not sure if I’ll still make a run for the Monthly Ticket Ranking, especially since the gap is already quite large. If I manage to crack the top ten, next month I’ll add 20 extra chapters, and clear them all within the same month.
But realistically? It’s unlikely. I’m still three thousand votes short — hehe.
Also, after launch, Alliance Patron Rewards will include an extra chapter.
For the Silver Alliance, ten chapters total — I’ve always believed in rewarding loyalty. (And don’t worry, the previous alliance leader before launch will also be compensated. The Silver Alliance won’t get a repeat — that one’s more of a goodwill gesture, a friendly donation.)
For monthly votes: One extra chapter for every additional 300 votes. Don’t think it’s too much — Old Gu really is getting old. My stamina just isn’t what it used to be.
I know some long-time readers are already jumping in to call me out: “You’re kidding me! You were only eighteen last year — now you’re pretending to be ancient? Just admit you don’t want to write more!”
Fine. Those aren’t my fans. I don’t know who you are.
But even if I am eighteen, this year I’m nineteen — and for men, prime years don’t last forever. Really not much time left.
Also, seeing those Scanner Brothers who finish farming a chapter within one minute of the update? I’m seriously doubting you even read the protagonist’s name. I’ve been reading for ten years — it takes me at least five minutes per chapter. You’re incredibly fast.
Just… wow.
Lastly, a few Classic Novel recommendations for those who haven’t read them yet:
1. Pet Beast Action Novel: Supreme Divine Pet Shop — 10,000 subscribers, already adapted into an anime. Super satisfying.
2. Post-Apocalyptic Ability Action Novel: Restart the Apocalypse — a decade-old classic, a true masterpiece.
3. Wasteland Healing Novel with a little fun: Dark King — already reached ten thousand subscribers.
4. A bit niche — a previous flop, not the most exciting or intense: Eternal Night Traveler. But if you love that particular writing style, you’ll probably enjoy it.
That’s about it.
And to all the old friends — after finishing my last book, I took a six-month break. Didn’t expect to quietly start a new one, and then get caught so soon — before even entering the Classic Novel Promotion. It really touched me.
Thank you so much~~~~ O(∩_∩)O
