The excruciating pain from the dagger piercing her stomach was a stark reminder of her predicament, causing cold sweat to bead on her forehead. The combination of pain and fear plunged her into a state of torment.
Finally, her back hit the wall, leaving her with nowhere else to retreat.
Fengye stopped in front of her and slowly crouched down, mimicking her earlier action. He pinched her cheek and asked, "You're quite beautiful, and your heart isn't evil. Why did you join the Six Demon Generals instead of staying with your sister, Yukino?"
