Chapter 756: Tiamat's Divine Body
The ultimate catastrophe had not yet arrived. Now, Ailezegai still existed within the Third Era, and the barrier between the Material Plane and the Outer Planes remained unbroken. Deities could not descend into the mortal realm—only manifest projections, or send followers imbued with their willpower. Yet Tiamat claimed she would appear in her True Body within the Material Realm, rule over the Feiansuo Continent, and even establish her own Terrestrial Divinity Realm. That was deeply unnatural.
The rise of the Empire of Ashen had altered too much. The name of the Red Dragon Emperor now echoed across the Earth. Influenced by that fame, the God of Evil Dragons, Tiamat, must have gained substantial additional Divine Power.
When Kai Xiusu asked the question, Drakalith paused, then replied with cautious curiosity:
"King Kai Xiusu, you wish to know of His Descent?"
"Of course," Kai Xiusu smiled faintly. "After all, you’ve seen—my relationship with this so-called 'Mother God' is far from harmonious. Preparations are necessary."
"But I’m still curious—how can a Deity possibly manifest in her True Body in the mortal world?"
Drakalith answered:
"You should know, she is also called 'The Thousand-Formed One,' possessing near-endless visages—fickle, unpredictable, and ever-shifting."
"But among those faces, many were not created by her. She seized the bodies of Color Dragon offspring, forcibly transforming them into her Avatars by channeling the strength of the God of Evil Dragons."
Upon hearing this, despite his prior suspicions, Kai Xiusu felt a chill.
So her followers aren’t just costly—they’re also deadly.
Fortunately, he had remained wary, never becoming the so-called "Dragon Prince." Otherwise, his fate would have been dire indeed.
Still, he pressed on:
"Drakalith, you’re merely an adult Red Dragon. How could you know such secrets?"
Drakalith’s voice grew solemn.
"True Gods cannot manifest in their True Bodies within the Material Plane. But the Dragon Queen scattered her Divinity Essence across the three most powerful dragons in the Seleucus region—the ancient Blue Dragon of the Faria Family, the ancient Green Dragon of the Verdant Woodlands, and an Ancient Red Dragon of Noble Bloodline."
"Each of these Primordial Dragons received a fragment of the Dragon Queen’s divine body—horns, eyes, and heart. Thus, they are known as the 'Divine Bodies.'"
"My father, 'Ashen Ember' Kazul, was one of the Divinely Chosen. The most powerful among them. He received the heart of a corrupt Dragon."
"For years, he longed to ascend to Divinity. He disguised himself as a human, became a celebrated war hero in the eyes of the Seleucus people, and even built a cult of adoration within the nation."
"But I see now—he is no longer the man he once was. After receiving that divine fragment, his mind was warped by Divine Power distortion. He has become a fanatical follower, consumed by a single purpose: to bring the Dragon Queen down to the mortal world."
Kai Xiusu narrowed his eyes. "So this is why you refused Divine Favor?"
"Yes," Drakalith said coldly. "I desire strength—but not at the cost of becoming a mere vessel for some Divine Manifestation."
Then her tone shifted.
"King Kai Xiusu, I have told you all I know. Now, will you combine with me? Will you sire offspring?"
Kai Xiusu sighed inwardly, his lips twitching.
"Not yet. I have no urgent need for heirs. But I will consider everything you’ve told me."
Drakalith nodded, licking her lips, then offered a polite smile.
"Very well, Your Majesty. I await your pleasure at any time."
She gave the Red Dragon one long, unmistakably desirous glance before turning away—her gaze so blatant, it made Kai Xiusu’s skin prickle.
Madwoman.
Shaking his head at the retreating figure, Kai Xiusu muttered in genuine disbelief.
Even among Red Dragons, Drakalith was a true madwoman.
Though noble-born and strong, he would never consider her a consort, let alone Empress of his future empire. Her ambition was too great, too uncontrollable. If she ever rose to power, she would shatter the Empire’s order—something Kai Xiusu would never tolerate.
Yet the intelligence she brought was invaluable.
"Tiamat’s Divine Body."
Kai Xiusu’s expression grew grave. He hadn’t expected the God of Evil Dragons to go this far.
To descend into the Material Plane, Tiamat had split off a portion of her distracting Essence and bestowed it upon three powerful Primordial Dragons.
Among them, Kazul was known—but Kai Xiusu had also heard of the Blue Dragon from the Faria Family. After all, Christina had once visited the Empire as the Faria Family’s representative.
There’s a chance to speak with that Blue Dragon.
And to prevent Tiamat’s Descent, we must begin planning an offensive against the Kingdom of Seleucus.
Shortly after, under Kai Xiusu’s decree, the three most prominent dukes—Lanpu, Dolo, and Meizhuolashi—entered the Imperial Palace. They knelt respectfully on the steps before the throne.
"Rise," Kai Xiusu said, his voice calm.
He turned to the Tiefling. "How stands the situation in the Kingdom of Seleucus?"
Meizhuolashi stood, stepping forward with steady composure.
"Your Majesty, our intelligence confirms a bloody purge has swept through the kingdom. Many former nobles have been slain. Even Divine-Blooded nobles were murdered."
"Now, the Dragon Worship Cult controls most of the kingdom. Color Dragons roam freely within its borders. Even the king himself has become a devoted follower of Tiamat."
"Currently, the Supreme Commander of the Seleucus Army is a human general named Kazul. He emerged victorious in the Tri-Emperor Confrontation, single-handedly crushing the invading force. But he appears to have deep ties with the Dragon Worship Cult."
Kai Xiusu nodded. At least this confirmed Drakalith’s intelligence.
Lanpu stepped forward, presenting a letter of invitation.
"Three days ago, the Kingdom of Seleucus sent us an offer: Last Hope seeks alliance with us to counter the Cassander Kingdom."
Kai Xiusu sneered. "Why should we ally with them? What’s our reason?"
Lanpu hesitated. "They claim you are Tiamat’s most valued offspring. That you should obey the Divine Oracle and unite the Empire with the Kingdom of Seleucus."
"Laughable," Kai Xiusu said, his voice edged with cold amusement.
Lanpu quickly added: "Master, I have already rejected them firmly. I made clear that the Empire of Ashen serves no Deity—only the great Emperor."
Dolo stepped up, fist clenched. "Your Majesty, how dare these Seleucus fools insult you? We must make them feel the full might of our Empire!"
Lanpu frowned. "But Master, we have yet to fully absorb the Thrace Region. Our Imperial Army has suffered heavy attrition in continuous warfare. I fear—"
"Indeed," Kai Xiusu said, his tone calm. "It’s time we prepare to attack the Kingdom of Seleucus."
"But not because they insulted me. It’s because Tiamat’s True Form is about to descend into the Prime Material Plane through the Kingdom of Seleucus."
"What?!"
The three dukes exchanged stunned looks, their faces pale with shock.
A True God descending into the Material Plane? Such an event hadn’t occurred since the Second Age—over ten thousand years ago. If it happened, it would send shockwaves across the Multiverse.
"How… how is this possible? True Gods are barred by Plane Consciousness!"
Lanpu, a mage, frowned deeply, his voice trembling slightly. Yet he stopped himself. He knew his master’s instincts were rarely wrong—and there was no reason for deception.
Kai Xiusu briefly relayed the intelligence he’d received from Drakalith.
Then he spoke coldly:
"The age of peace is over. The Age of Chaos is coming. From now on, such events will only grow more frequent."
"Begin preparations. Draft a complete attack plan within a month. Mobilize within three. Time is short. Tiamat could descend at any moment."
"Yes, Your Majesty!"
The three Imperial Dukes bowed and hurried off to their duties, ready to ignite a war that would reshape the fate of the Feiansuo Continent.
Thought I’d get a brief respite after finishing Thrace… yet trouble still follows like a shadow.
Kai Xiusu remained seated upon the throne, letting out a weary sigh.
At that moment, his Golden Dragon Avatar—deep in eternal slumber within the Eternal Order Realm—was stirred by an unseen force.
Truly a Time of Troubles.
Frowning, Kai Xiusu focused his powerful will and descended it into the Avatar’s form.
---
In the Eternal Order Realm, the White Monastery.
A colossal Ancient Gold Dragon lay submerged in a crystal-clear pool. His body was etched with intricate carvings, his scales gleaming with radiant light—like a mountain forged of gold.
Holy Water flowed around him, slowly healing the countless wounds across his frame.
This was Titus—the Ancient Gold Dragon, revered in the Good Alignment as the "Wings of Dawn," a champion of justice, and a beacon of hope.
But few knew the truth.
This noble figure was, in reality, the most feared and merciless tyrant on the Feiansuo Continent—perhaps the most powerful evil dragon of the past century. He was the Avatar of Emperor Kai Xiusu of the Ember Empire.
Plash.
The sound of water parted as the Ancient Gold Dragon rose to his feet, powerful limbs supporting his massive frame. He slowly opened his eyes—golden vertical pupils, profound, wise, yet gentle.
A single silver whisker, like a tendril of smoke, drifted from his jaw, adding an air of ethereal grace.
That familiar sensation…
Titus—no, Kai Xiusu—felt it clearly. With the True Dragon Mage now at Max Level, the Avatar’s spellcasting ability had surged.
He extended a claw. A flicker of fire leapt from his palm, coalescing into a lifelike, writhing Red Dragon.
Then, his gaze turned to the source of the disturbance—the luminous sphere that had awakened him.
A pure, radiant orb pulsed softly with arcane energy.
An Elf’s aura…
From Serrynia?
Kai Xiusu activated the sphere. A high-definition magical image materialized before him.
A dignified Elven woman stood within the projection. She wore a golden crown studded with gems, a mithril light armor across her chest, her silver hair tied back with precision. Her violet eyes burned with unwavering resolve.
—Catherine the Moonwalker, the seventeenth Queen of the Elven Kingdom.
Behind her, a Half-Elf Holy Knight stood in solemn readiness, sword drawn—none other than Ria, the famed "Dawnblade."
"Lord Titus, Champion of the Wings of Dawn, noble warrior against the Red Dragon Tyrant—forgive the intrusion upon your rest. I am Catherine the Moonwalker, King of Serrynia."
Her voice was clear, gentle, yet unwavering in strength.
"Ria has already informed you of Serrynia’s plight. The Veil of Moonlight is fraying. Darkness seeps into the roots of the Sacred Tree."
"Those ancient Elders who once swore oaths to the Sacred Tree now have eyes glowing with Abyssal light. My people are scattered, lost."
"As Queen of Serrynia, for my people, for the glory of the Silver Moon Elves’ civilization, I must launch a Sacred Coup. Purify the corruption. Restore my people to the protection of Moonlight."
Her words rang with iron resolve. Her gaze pierced through space, meeting the Ancient Gold Dragon’s with unmatched determination.
Kai Xiusu watched the image, a faint smile touching his lips.
"Relax. Even if you hadn’t asked, I’d have acted anyway."
"After all… my Avatar’s role was ordained as Justice Envoy."
The image continued:
"Lord Titus, I humbly beg you to lend your strength. Let the sacred Dragon Flame annihilate the corrupted roots. Help us reclaim Serrynia. Restore it to light, to hope."
"I—Catherine the Moonwalker, Seventeenth Queen of Serrynia—promise you will be rewarded handsomely. And you will earn the eternal friendship of the Silver Moon Elves."
"Finally… may the Moonlight ever shine. May Justice endure."
A smile graced the queen’s face.
The image faded. The luminous sphere dissolved, leaving behind a teleportation magic coordinate—located near the Silver Moon Elves’ forest.
The coup in Serrynia is finally beginning.
A spark of anticipation flickered in Kai Xiusu’s golden pupils.
The Silver Moon Queen’s Serrynia would become a crucial force in the late-game Justice battalions. In fact, her actions would shape the fate of the entire Feiansuo Continent.
And during the Multiverse-shattering "Dark Moon Cataclysm," Serrynia would be the central stage.
Kai Xiusu stroked his gill whiskers, thoughtful.
Then I’ll begin forming the so-called 'Sacred Alliance' early—pull in the Shield Dwarves as well.
And I haven’t visited the Volcanic Enclave in ages. Time to check on the Dwarves’ progress.
With a casual flick of his claw, the Ancient Gold Dragon opened a portal to the Half-Plane.
