"I can't believe Er Gouzi isn't trying to ransom his sister. Instead, he's here, leeching off his sister's earnings. He's not even human! No, his whole family isn't human!" The second guard fell silent, his disgust evident.
Though he wasn't a good person himself, even he found Er Gouzi's family despicable.
Lu Qing remained silent and still, listening intently from his perch on the tree.
