Chapter 728: Boys Should Lock Their Doors When Sleeping
Chapter 728: Boys Should Lock Their Doors When Sleeping
Dinner, conversation, TV, poker, baths, and sleep...
The night passed quickly.
At dawn, Feng Ye woke up and noticed that his bedroom door was ajar. Jubia was sprawled on top of him, fast asleep, with Lisanna by her side.
Used to such scenarios, Feng Ye sighed and his body quietly faded into light dots before reforming next to the bed.
Grumble!
As Feng Ye disappeared, Jubia, who had been lying on him, tumbled onto the bed with a soft noise. However, being made of water, she merely wobbled a bit and continued sleeping soundly.
Still asleep, Jubia reached out, grabbing Lisanna by her side and pulling her close, snuggling together.
Feng Ye watched this scene and couldn't help but chuckle.
Swish!
The pajamas on his body glowed, transforming into a shirt.
He walked to the window, casually pulling aside the curtains to let the morning light flood the room, dispelling the slightly amorous atmosphere.
Just then, a soft voice reached them from the living room outside.
"Lisanna?"
Mira was seen looking for Lisanna, making her way to Feng Ye's room door. Glancing inside, she paused for a moment, a hint of helplessness flashing in her eyes.
It was clear that Lisanna had sneaked into Feng Ye's room last night, but as for what Feng Ye had done... that was obviously nonexistent. If Feng Ye had wanted intimacy, none of the girls here would have refused, so there was no need for strange antics.
"Mi... Mira, sister..."
Lisanna, who had been pulled into Jubia's embrace, woke up, rubbing her eyes. She spotted Mira standing at the door and showed no signs of panic at being 'caught in the act'. Instead, she giggled and said, "You're up early, and so is Feng Ye, brother."
Feng Ye glanced at her and said, "Sneaking into my room again?"
Lisanna wriggled out of Jubia's arms and giggled, "Lucy slept in the room upstairs, and it was too late for me to go home. Wouldn't Feng Ye, brother, not blame me~ Besides, you didn't lock your door."
"So, not locking my door becomes my fault?"
Feng Ye couldn't help but laugh at Lisanna's words. He reached out and pinched her cheeks, tugging them gently.
Lisanna didn't resist, instead, she clasped her hands in front of her chest, closing one eye, and giving him a playful look. She stuck out her tongue and said, "Yes, boys should always lock their doors at night."
Dong!
Feng Ye playfully tapped her forehead. Then, looking at Mira, he said, "Wake the others. Let's have breakfast together."
...
"Good morning, Lucy, sister."
"Good morning, Wendy."
Wendy, now dressed, met Lucy in the living room as she came out of another bedroom. She greeted Lucy politely, and Lucy smiled back.
The girls were roused from their sleep one by one and soon gathered around the dining table for breakfast, continuing their conversation from the previous night.
With Lucy's addition, and her lively personality and talent for banter, the atmosphere became lively. In just one night and morning, she had already blended seamlessly into the group, and her relationship with Mira and the others had become much closer.
After breakfast,
Mira looked at Lucy with a gentle smile and said, "Lucy, if you have any questions about the guild, feel free to ask me.
Although the group had all stayed at Feng Ye's house the previous night and seemed very accustomed and harmonious, it was clear that this was not the usual arrangement.
Mira's big eyes curved like a crescent moon as she replied, "The guild has a dedicated dormitory area, but mostly boys live there. Not many girls stay there, most of us rent or share accommodations nearby. But I suggest you just rent, the set of houses to the east is still available, it's 80,000 J a month for others, but only 20,000 J for guild members."
"20,000 J rent?"
Lucy was surprised. She walked to the window and pointed to the set of houses Mira had mentioned in the east, seeing that it was a two-story villa with an attic.
Mira nodded gently, "Yes, because Feng Ye bought up this entire block, so he gives a discount to guild members."
"So you all live nearby too?"
Lucy asked in surprise.
Mira smiled, "Yes, Lisanna and I live over there, then there's Erza, and Jubia is on that side. If you move here, Lucy, you'll be our neighbor."
Lucy tilted her head, then suddenly realized something. True to her nature, she teased, "Isn't that just surrounding Feng Ye's place completely? So that's the real reason!"
"Yes, the nearest neighbor gets the first invitation."
Mira nodded with a smile.
Suppressing the urge to tease further, Lucy considered for a moment before deciding to take Mira's suggestion. After all, the others lived nearby, and it was indeed a convenient and suitable location, plus she liked the house.
...
Soon,
Lucy settled into a neighborhood in Magnolia Town and officially became a member of the Fairy Tail guild, eagerly starting her work the next day.
With Lucy's addition, the Fairy Tail guild became much more vibrant.
Two days later.
Erza returned from a job.
"The Queen of Fairies, Erza, it's really you..."
Lucy sat by the counter, watching Erza return to the guild, her big eyes shining with a hint of admiration. After Feng Ye, Erza was the person she most admired in the guild.
After greeting the guild members briefly, Erza made her way to the counter and noticed Lucy, seeing the guild mark on the back of her hand and looking surprised, "Are you new?"
"Yes, I'm Lucy, please take care of me."
Lucy greeted Erza politely.
Erza was taken aback for a moment, then smiled, "So you're Lucy... Yes, I'm Erza, nice to meet you."
After greeting Lucy, she looked around the guild and, not seeing Master Makarov, turned to Mira and asked, "Is the Master not here?"
Mira was slightly taken aback, then her eyes turned serious, "The Master went to attend a routine meeting. Is something the matter?"
Erza nodded, "Yes, there's a bit of a problem."
Mira thought for a moment, "If it's a problem... Feng Ye returned a few days ago, you can try asking him."
"Feng Ye is back?"
Erza was surprised but after a moment's thought, she shook her head, "No, although it's a bit of a problem, it's not a big deal. He just got back, so it's better not to trouble him."
After some contemplation, Erza turned and looked at Natsu and Gray, "Natsu, Gray, I have something I'd like to ask of you, come with me."
Natsu and Gray: "...Eh?!"
