In the temporal rift above Magnolia Town, an old man dressed in a black robe, who looked skeletal, shook his head helplessly as he gazed at the direction of the Fairy Tail Guild.

As both a disciple and lover of Zeref, Mavis had some understanding of Zeref's plight.
She knew that both she and Zeref had violated taboos, which led to them being cursed by God Ancelarm. She had created the Fairy Law, while Zeref had crossed the boundary between life and death.
Therefore, she didn't want the Fourth Generation to suffer the same fate.
"I know you're talking about God Ancelarm's curse, but it's fine. I have a way to deal with it!"
Jerry wasn't frightened by Mavis's words.
The reason God Ancelarm could curse Zeref and Mavis was that they were both born in the world Ancelarm created, making them susceptible to the world's laws.
Additionally, the significant power disparity between them and Ancelarm allowed the curse to be so potent.
However, Jerry wasn't from Ancelarm's world. As a Singular Universe-Class Power, he had his own Dimensional World and his own Realm Power, making it difficult for the laws of this world to affect him directly.
Seeing the firmness in Jerry's eyes and the powerful magic power fluctuations he emitted, which were so strong that even Mavis couldn't discern his true strength, she began to believe that Jerry could indeed resurrect her.

Mavis knew that her body was cursed. While her soul was unaffected in its current state, resurrection would merge her soul and body, reactivating the curse.

Jerry grabbed Mavis by the collar, lifted her soul with his left hand, and her body with his right, and entered his Dimensional World.
God Ancelarm's curse primarily stemmed from the Death Law within the world's laws. By bringing Mavis into his world, Jerry could isolate her from the influence of the outside world's laws, temporarily nullifying the curse.
"Where are we?"
Mavis, held by her collar like a doll, curiously examined the strange buildings around them.
"This is Igor Planet, a world I created. God Ancelarm's laws cannot affect this place, so the curse on you won't take effect here."
Jerry explained as he set Mavis's body and soul down.
Mavis, though not fully understanding the concept of a planet, could indeed feel the death curse within her body disappear.
