"Teacher Gu, you're here!"
"Master of the Academy, today my son and I have come as agreed. However, from the looks of it, you don't seem to be planning to leave Lin County," Gu Qingfeng replied with a polite bow, then sat down and looked at Xu Jun and the others, his expression displeased.
His words caused several instructors to exchange uneasy glances. Xu Jun managed a strained smile, explaining, "Teacher Gu, you may not know, but yesterday, the Demon Suppression Bureau arrived and ordered all citizens to remain within the city walls. They are responsible for dealing with the evil spirits."
