"Is he dead?" Hermione covered her mouth, gazing at the mutilated, revolting corpse before her, muttering.
"I think so!" Dumbledore nodded. In his experience, neither Madam Pomfrey's Healing Magic nor Snape's Potions could save a Wizard who had been thoroughly roasted.
"It's a shame. If we could have captured Barty Crouch Jr. alive, we might have learned something." Ivan was somewhat disappointed. They had put in so much effort, and yet a critical mistake had been made.
"We can't expect to achieve perfection in everything. At least Alastor is saved now. Once he regains consciousness, he should be able to provide some answers." Dumbledore comforted them.
Although he had been on the battlefield, Barty Jr.'s suicidal move had caught him off guard. Additionally, he had to protect Hermione and the unconscious Mad-Eye Moody immediately, so he couldn't intervene in time.
Ivan nodded, now they could only hope to get some information from Mad-Eye Moody.
Dumbledore waved his wand, conjuring a white cloth to cover Barty Crouch Jr.'s body. Then he turned to Ivan and said seriously,
"I must say, your strength always surprises me, Hals. I thought you might need some help to defeat Barty Jr. and Alastor..."
"You were right, Professors. If you hadn't arrived in time, I might have died there..." Ivan shrugged, but before he could finish, Dumbledore interrupted.
"Don't belittle yourself, Hals. Alastor's strength is well-known to me, and with Barty Crouch Jr.'s expertise in Dark Magic, the two of them together would have been a formidable challenge even for the teaching professors."
Dumbledore, who had witnessed the entire battle, saw clearly that aside from Barty Jr.'s final suicidal attack, Ivan had handled the two of them with ease.
His skill had even surpassed Severus. If Severus had been the one to act, he might have subdued Barty Jr. and Mad-Eye Moody, but he certainly wouldn't have done it as effortlessly as Ivan.
Hermione, standing nearby, said proudly, "A few days ago, Professor Mcgonagall mentioned in class that Ivan's Transfiguration Spell is even better than hers, and he's not far behind you, either."
Ivan was embarrassed by Hermione's praise. He knew that Professor Mcgonagall had mistaken his use of Transfiguration to bind Norbert as genuine skill.
Unfortunately, that had all been an act, and he wasn't sure he could do it again now.
Hermione, unaware of this, saw Ivan's ability to defeat both Mad-Eye Moody and Barty Jr. as a remarkable feat, something even the professors couldn't accomplish.
In her mind, only Headmaster Dumbledore was more powerful than the professors.
However, now that they were out of the dark Chamber, Hermione noticed something unusual about Ivan. After hesitating, she couldn't help but ask,
"Ivan, your hands and face... is that some kind of special Magic?"
Ivan was taken aback and quickly raised his hand to look. Although he had ended the Dragon Transformation at the end of the battle, his control over this new Bloodline Magic was still limited.
Perhaps because he had maintained the Dragon Transformation for so long, some Dragon Scales still lingered on his arms, not yet fully fading away.
Under Hermione's curious gaze, Ivan appeared somewhat embarrassed. He couldn't see his current appearance and could only awkwardly say, "Pretty much? This is my unique Magic. Is it really that ugly?"
Hermione stared at Ivan for a moment, her cheeks flushing as she shook her head. The crimson Dragon Scales weren't unattractive; in fact, they added a unique charm to Ivan, covering his neck and arms.
It was the faint aura of authority that made Hermione quite uncomfortable, as if she were being watched by a Three-Headed Dog or a Dragon.
Hermione didn't hide her feelings and honestly shared her thoughts.
Dragon Aura, huh? Ivan raised an eyebrow. No wonder Barty Crouch Jr. and Mad-Eye Moody were suddenly distracted and interrupted their Casting during the battle.
He had initially thought someone was secretly helping him, but it turned out this aura of authority was a side effect of the Dragon Transformation. No wonder the Transformation-induced Crumple-Horned Snorkack was so terrified of him.
As Ivan was thinking, Dumbledore suddenly spoke in a stern tone.
"I think I need to remind you, Hals, that Magical Transformation is extremely dangerous, especially for someone your age... It seems this isn't the first time you've done this."
Dumbledore's expression was very serious. He had noticed Ivan's unusual condition during the battle and, considering the Dragons from this year's Triwizard Cup, quickly deduced that Ivan had used dragon blood to complete this Magical Transformation.
If he recalled correctly, Ivan had already possessed a Unicorn Bloodline in his first year and, in his second year, completed a second Magical Transformation under Tom Riddle's "deception."
It was an incredibly rare feat for a Wizard to possess two Bloodlines without losing control, and Dumbledore could only attribute this to Slytherin's unparalleled expertise in potions.

However, there are always exceptions. Some Wizards improve their strength and break their limits by transforming themselves through potions, pacts, alchemy, and specific spells. I refer to all of these methods collectively as Magical Transformation."
Dumbledore paused, his gaze returning to Ivan, and he continued in a serious tone.
"Hals, I don't know what kind of Magic knowledge you obtained in the Chamber of Secrets, but as far as I know, each Ritual associated with Magical Transformation is extremely dangerous. Countless Wizards have lost their lives because of it! That's why the mainstream Wizards in various Wizarding Worlds have unanimously abandoned such dangerous attempts..."
