"Jerry, what do you think?"

"Alright, don't give me that look. I'm telling you that you can leave Earth now. We're going to deal with your father!"

Jerry shrugged and explained.

Upon hearing this, Star-Lord's face immediately brightened, and he was almost jumping with excitement.

"What! Really, we can actually leave Earth? This is amazing, I was getting so bored!"

He was a born interstellar adventurer, always eager to travel between planets, complete challenging missions, and experience the beautiful landscapes and cultures of different worlds. Being stuck on Earth for the past two years had almost driven him mad.

"Cheater!"

Gamora, seeing Star-Lord's instant forgetfulness of her existence in his excitement, recalled the women he had slept with on various planets before they met. She immediately kneed him in the groin and turned to walk away from the base.

Star-Lord, who had been celebrating, let out a painful cry and clutched his crotch. He then shouted at Gamora's retreating figure:

"Gamora, we can have a baby on the ship and show him the beautiful landscapes of different planets when he's born. Gamora, I'm being serious!"

"Stay put, I'll go get Rocket and Drax, and we'll leave together!"

Gamora paused, then turned her head and replied coolly.

Star-Lord, still clutching his crotch, struggled to his feet and gazed at Gamora's back with a lovesick expression.

"True to form, the woman I love!"

"Healing Spell!"

Jerry chuckled and cast a healing spell on Star-Lord.

"Alright, stop being lovesick. Call Tony and the others, and we'll leave once everyone is ready!"

Jerry was actually quite curious about what the skin color of a child born to Star-Lord and Gamora, from different planets, would be.

Half an hour later, on the Avengers Base's square.

Tony, Steve, and Thor, along with the other Avengers, looked at Jerry and the unreliable Star-Lord with concern.

"Are you sure you don't need our help? The enemy is an entire planet!"

"No need. The fact that it's an entire planet means that more people would only make him suspicious. Don't worry, if I decided to go now, it's because I'm confident."

Jerry nodded, his tone firm.

After consuming Dormammu, his Ring World had become much more powerful. Even if he faced Ego alone, his chances of victory were high, especially with Star-Lord's help and the plan to ambush Ego.

To fully absorb the power of the failed Celestial, Jerry didn't plan to engage in a direct fight. If he destroyed Ego's planet, he would gain nothing.

After boarding the ship with the Guardians of the Galaxy, Jerry opened a portal at the front of the ship.

The ship flashed through the portal and reappeared above the familiar Xandar.

"Dawn, contact the Nova Corps on Xandar!"

Jerry, looking down at the beautiful Xandar, instructed the ship's AI, Dawn.

"Yes, Mr. Carmen!"

Dawn's sweet voice echoed throughout the ship.

Though Star-Lord was her nominal owner, her actual master was Jerry. Therefore, Jerry's commands were her top priority.

"Traitor!"

Star-Lord muttered under his breath.
