Kuro's heart sank. It really was that old hag, Charlotte·Big Mom!
"Why is she here?!"
Kuro clenched his teeth, abandoning the simlefactory beneath Birdcage without hesitation. His figure flickered, leaving afterimages in his wake as he sped toward Yi Xiao's aura.
In a corner of Dressrosa, flames roared around a fiery arena. Yi Xiao gripped his staff-sword, facing a golden-haired youth in a top hat. The youth raised his palm, igniting a compressed fireball that erupted into a blazing fist.
"Fire Fist!"

A scorching fire pillar erupted, obliterating the ground as it surged toward Yi Xiao.
"Oh? Quite the impressive technique", Yi Xiao mused, loosening his five fingers around the staff-sword. He reversed his grip, stepped back, and swung.
"Gravity Blade!"
A massive horizontal gravity wave tore through the battlefield, shattering the fire pillar into sparks that scattered sideways and backward—quickly rebounding toward the golden-haired youth.
"Gravity, huh?" The youth staggered under the pressure, his body resisting the force. Gritting his teeth, he ignited himself into flames to escape the gravity's pull, then lunged forward with a fiery kick.

Yi Xiao blocked the attack with his blade, parrying the strike.
The golden-haired youth leapt back, landing gracefully. "Yi Xiao Mr., as an Admiral, you should be stronger. Why hesitate?"
They'd tried inviting him before, but failed.
"Well, being the Revolution Army's second-in-command, I should exercise caution", Yi Xiao said with a smirk, glancing toward the palace's peak.
Suddenly, his expression darkened. "This aura..."
Even from this distance, Charlotte·Big Mom's furious roar reached his ears.
"Amazing power!" Sabo turned instinctively toward the sound.
"Brother!"
A voice rang out from the side. Countless afterimages streaked past until a familiar figure materialized beside Vegapunk.
"Golden Lion!"
Sabo's pupils contracted. Flames engulfed his fist as he launched a fire pillar instinctively.
"Hmph?" The intense heat forced Kuro to swallow his words mid-sentence. He glanced sideways, squinting. "Sabo? Get lost. I'm busy."
With a mere glance, the fire pillar disintegrated into sparkling embers. Kuro flicked his fingers, and stone waves erupted from the ground, burying Sabo before he could react.
Grabbing Yi Xiao's arm, Kuro urged, "No time for explanations. Come with me."
"You're unusually anxious, Brother. Is this about that aura outside?" Yi Xiao asked. "She's shouting your name. An old paramour?"
"Don't joke. Charlotte·Big Mom—Big Mom herself—is here!" Kuro spat. "I killed Caesar Clown, so she's here for revenge."
He recalled Caesar's experiments—originally commissioned by Charlotte·Big Mom for human gigantification research.
"That bastard Donquixote Doflamingo!" Kuro's eyes narrowed toward the palace. "Only he could've tipped her off."
But there was no time to deal with that now. Another crisis loomed.
"Big Mom", Yi Xiao repeated, glancing outward. "One of the Four Emperors? If she enters Dressrosa, civilians will suffer heavy casualties."
"Exactly", Kuro nodded. "I can't handle her alone. Brother, lend me your strength."
"Of course." Yi Xiao agreed solemnly. "Never thought my first challenge as Admiral would be a Four Emperor. Being an Admiral isn't easy."
No kidding. Who'd want to face World Nobles and Four Emperors constantly? Admirals handled all the dangerous tasks while Base Commanders stayed safely in their forts.
The ground beneath Yi Xiao cracked, forming a stone platform that lifted him skyward. Kuro floated upward, both men flying toward the aura's source.
Their abilities were similar—Yi Xiao needed a medium, while Kuro flew freely. They reached Birdcage's edge, peering outside.
A massive pink warship hovered near a gaping hole in the rock formations. On land stood a colossal figure in a pink dress—Charlotte·Big Mom—approaching with dark clouds and a miniature sun trailing her.
"Golden Lion!!!" Charlotte·Big Mom bellowed. "You dare show your face!!"
Kuro lit a cigar, blowing smoke that drifted through Birdcage's bars. "It's really her."
Through the cage, he called out, "Old hag! What are you doing here instead of Totto Land?"
"Don't play dumb, Golden Lion!" she roared. "You killed Caesar Clown! He had my funding to create giants! My dream was to have giants for tea parties! Because of you, it's gone!!"
She glared murderously. "I'll kill you!"
"Tch. I don't care about that", Kuro muttered, eyes hardening.
He'd hoped to avoid trouble, but now she'd come personally. No choice but to fight.
Glancing at Yi Xiao, he smirked. Two against one—this time, they wouldn't lose.
