Rain waited for a full five minutes before the bald strongman arrived with five others.
"Boss, this kid thinks he can outrun our 'baby' and escape us. He's really overestimating himself! Now he's surrounded, hahaha!"
"Yeah, boss, this kid dared to run. Should we break his legs first?" One of the gang members waved the thick club in his hand and laughed maliciously.
"Kid, you're so good at running. Why aren't you running now?"
The bald strongman glanced at Rain with disdain and said, "Why would we run from a brat like you?"
"Also, is that house yours?"
"Tell us, where did Blackbeard go?"
The bald man's three rapid-fire questions instantly confirmed all of Rain's suspicions.
These guys were probably going to meet their end here!
"Rain continued his interrogation.
Rain left two of them alive, intending to interrogate them separately about the 'Dog King' Cole.
"Whoa!"
"Run! Go inform the gang!" The bald strongman reacted quickly, pushing another gang member and shouting. He realized that the seemingly ordinary boy was deliberately hiding his strength, luring them into a trap.
The remaining hyena, terrified, whimpered and fled behind the bald man with its tail between its legs.
The next moment, Rain's hands trembled, and the greatsword wrapped in sheepskin revealed its true form.
"Shut up! Anyone who talks will be killed!" Rain's piercing gaze silenced the two captives, who stared at him in fear, afraid of provoking him further.
The bald strongman didn't escape the same fate, losing his legs in the next instant.
The two bald men were terrified, pleading, "Don't kill us! Don't kill us!"
Their expressions seemed to say, "Yes, even if this kid is powerful, he's just one person, and we have five of us!"
But after hearing Rain's question, the bald man felt something was amiss.
He immediately separated the bald man and the other gang member by over twenty meters, unconcerned about them escaping due to their severed legs.
The once-proud hyena gang members cowered on the ground.
Rain chuckled, knowing that if they scattered, it would be more challenging to chase them down.
The gang members also sensed something was wrong.
"Swish!"
"So, we came."
Indeed, the hyenas had a keen sense of smell, even more so than ordinary dogs, and they had picked up the scent of Blackbeard from Anna's house a few days ago.
"We asked Blackbeard's old acquaintance in the capital city, a courtesan, and she told us that before leaving, Blackbeard mentioned going to Shiny Gold Town for some business."

Just as a hyena gang member turned to flee, a figure caught up from behind.
"Keep your voice down, or the bald man will hear. I'll compare your stories!"
"Fury Strike!"
"'Cole's' strength..."
The gang members' eyes widened in shock at the scene unfolding before them.
Rain nodded and gestured with his sword, "Continue!"
With a swift step, Rain flashed into the midst of the spotted hyenas, his steel greatsword tracing a graceful semi-circle.
"Hey, kid, how did you know? Has the reputation of our hyena gang spread from the capital city to Shiny Gold Town?" a gang member asked with a hint of pride.
Rain responded with a thunderous Cyclone Slash.
The first gang member Rain interrogated had more comprehensive information as the gang leader.
After cross-referencing their stories, Rain sent them to join the other captured gang members.
As members of the same gang, they should be kept together.
This, of course, included their hyenas!
