Chapter 65: Dream Mō, Die!
Unbearable agony wracked Dream Mō, sending it into a guttural scream. Danzō, sensing something was wrong, clenched his jaw and barked, “Stay calm! Don’t sever the summoning technique on your own! Trust me—just this once!”
Without warning, Danzō had torn off the bandages covering his face, revealing a crimson Sharingan eye—its gaze darting wildly across the battlefield. When he locked onto Uchiha Iizumi’s silhouette, he gritted his teeth.
“Dream Mō! Hold on for two more minutes! Just two minutes—Uchiha Iizumi will be dead!”
“Danzō… are you really going to fight this Lava monster to the death?”
The voice erupted in Danzō’s mind—clear, desperate, and strained.
Dream Mō couldn’t speak in words, but through the summoning contract, it could project thoughts directly into Danzō’s mind.
Hearing the creature’s ragged breathing, Danzō stared hard at the figure ahead. “That child… a born evil Uchiha. If he remains in the Leaf Village, one day the Uchiha clan will seize control of everything!”
Slowly, he peeled back the bandages wrapping his arm—his Sharingan was no secret to Uchiha Iizumi.
As for the eight Root agents he’d brought to retrieve the corpse?
Before Dream Mō had even been struck by the lava, Danzō had already realized they were all dead—some possibly still alive, but utterly incapable of aiding him.
Today, he’d lost sixteen Root ninjas.
All the accumulated grudges, past betrayals, and present fury boiled into one seething hatred for Uchiha Iizumi.
“Fine… two minutes.”
Dream Mō, enduring excruciating pain, chose to trust its human ally—just this once.
With a snarl, it glared at the one who had scorched it—Uchiha Iizumi.
With a thunderous roar, Dream Mō opened its maw and unleashed a colossal wind ball—nearly as large as its own body.
It had no concept of collateral damage. It was fighting with everything it had.
The wind ball tore forward like a storm, obliterating everything in its path. The ground cracked and flew apart. Trees snapped like twigs. Houses collapsed in a cascade of debris. Had any civilians still lingered in the vicinity—had they not fled at the sound of the battle—they’d have been crushed without warning.
The ferocious gale forced Uchiha Iizumi to squint. A tangible wall of wind pushed him backward, dragging his feet across the earth and carving shallow furrows behind him.
The Three Tomoe Sharingan caught a blurred silhouette—someone being swept up in the vortex of the wind ball.
It was… Danzō.
—BOOM!!!
The wind ball swallowed Uchiha Iizumi whole. Behind him, the Yamanaka Clan’s compound was torn apart—houses ripped from the ground, debris flung in every direction.
Uchiha Iizumi’s lava-wrapped body, like a bundle of explosive tags, shattered apart with a deafening crack!
Lava erupted in all directions—some shot high into the air, others splattered across the ground, igniting massive fires. Some clung like molten glue to the earth, while others scattered into a shimmering shower of glowing lava fragments.
Danzō drew five sealing scrolls from his waist. He bit his tongue, drew blood, and spat a stream of crimson onto each scroll.
“Ninjutsu…”
“Multiple Sealing Evil Technique!!”
He slammed his palms together. His face twitched violently.
At that moment, Dream Mō reversed its breath—sucking in, not blowing out. The suction was just as powerful as the earlier windstorm. The scattered lava began to swirl, drawn toward the center.
The five scrolls flared with energy, their own suction pulling the molten mass into them.
Danzō watched as a single arm of lava coalesced in midair—rolling, writhing, forming a living limb.
His mind reeled. This child… is he even human? A monster?!
But Danzō clenched his teeth. Five layers of sealing—there’s no way I can’t contain him!
Then—his eyes widened.
“M-my… arms…”
Danzō’s gaze, stunned, flicked down to his own limbs. Under the moonlight, the shadow cast by the lava had become solid—reaching out, wrapping around his hands, binding them together!
—Shadow Binding Technique!
The name exploded in his mind—Nara Clan’s forbidden technique.
The shadow’s strength forced his arms apart, disrupting the flow of chakra into the scrolls. The sealing process faltered. The scrolls began sucking in rocks, leaves, debris—anything nearby.
Damn it!
Danzō’s blood ran cold. He couldn’t afford to lose control. He couldn’t seal Uchiha Iizumi if he couldn’t focus.
He didn’t have time to question how a Nara Clan ninja had appeared so suddenly—how they’d dared attack him.
All he knew was that the Sharingan implants in his arms were at risk—being twisted, torn apart by the shadow’s relentless grip.
With a snarl, Danzō forced his right arm to grow—thick, root-like vines bursting from his flesh, gripping and tearing at the shadow binding his limbs.
He tore it apart.
His face twisted in agony. Another secret exposed… another trump card revealed… all because of that Uchiha brat!
How dare he force me to this?
Then—another shock.
The scattered lava… vanished.
Just like that.
Danzō’s first thought: An illusion?
But no—his Three Tomoe Sharingan should’ve detected any genjutsu. He’d seen through far worse.
Something was wrong.
Where is he?
Did he escape?
Then—his eyes locked onto a sealing scroll. Its edge was charred, warped by unnatural heat.
That’s right…
If Uchiha Iizumi had fled, why was the air still so scorching?
Then—pop!—the scroll burst into flames. The others followed, ignited by unseen heat.
Danzō finally understood.
It wasn’t an illusion.
It wasn’t escape.
The boy had simply hidden his presence—using a forbidden technique to become invisible, yet still tangible.
Only one bloodline could do that.
Translucent Release.
He felt the heat again—blazing against his face.
Danzō’s forehead twitched. His mind screamed.
“Izanagi!!”
As the Sharingan’s secret technique activated once more, he finally saw it—orange-red lava, pulsing, coiling in the air.
Too late.
Too close.
—BOOM!!!
Danzō’s body was consumed by lava.
But then—just as the flames should’ve turned him to ash—his form reassembled, reformed in an instant, as the Izanagi’s power rewrote reality itself.
“Old man like me doesn’t die that easily!”
Danzō spat the words, teeth clenched.
But then—he froze.
The Uchiha boy who had just tried to kill him… wasn’t attacking.
Instead—he was watching.
His eyes locked onto Summon Beast Dream Mō.
And then—like a tidal wave—a flood of molten lava surged upward, engulfing the massive beast entirely.
…
