Chapter 648: Sixty-Fold
Chapter 648: Sixty-Fold
Almost as soon as the dark clouds appeared, a black dot approached from a distance. Just as Tee stood up in shock, a dark layer covered the window.
It was Conqueror's Haki!
Bang!
As Tee sensed the Haki, the dark layer shattered the window and the surrounding walls, revealing a massive black pillar.
"Huh!!"
Tee punched with a powerful blow, generating a white light that vibrated through the air. The shockwave spread in a straight line, striking the black pillar and instantly shattering it. The Haki covering the pillar couldn't withstand such a powerful impact, cracking and shattering into pieces that scattered into the surrounding space.
"Sawdust?"
Tee took a few steps forward, glancing at the splintered wood on the ground. He looked through the large hole in the wall at the sky, beads of sweat rolling down his forehead.
The dark clouds completely obscured Honeycomb Island, and fierce winds blew through the hole, hitting the faces of everyone present, mixing with their sweat.
Tee maintained his smile, but his pupils were trembling. Shiryu's wet cigar hung from his mouth, and he subconsciously took another puff, gripping the hilt of his sword tightly, his expression grave.
Chissas Baschas couldn't even manage his usual goofy grin, clenching his teeth and assuming a defensive stance.
Caterina Depone couldn't maintain her air of confidence and disdain, and Basco Qute clutched his wine gourd, even pulling his tongue back in.
Outside the skull-shaped building, San Juan Wolf, who had been lying on the ground sleeping, sat up halfway. His usually dazed face contorted in a menacing expression, as if sensing some threat.
Doku Q nearly fell to his knees, gasping for breath.
Van Okka wiped the sweat from his face, gripping his spear tightly, and said calmly, "The price was marked from the very beginning."
Kuzan pushed up his round glasses, which glowed with a white light, hiding his expression.
But everyone, including Abaro Pisaro, who had merged with the island, transformed the skull-shaped building into a living entity, extending a head to stare intently at the single cloud below the dark sky, from which powerful black and red lightning was continuously emanating.
When the black and red lightning burst forth, it even triggered thunder in the clouds above, illuminating the sky and revealing a figure with white hair dancing in the wind, a menacing grin on his face as he looked down.
Sagel!
He raised his fist high, allowing the black and red lightning to surge even more intensely, the lightning spreading out as if to cover the entire sky.
The power was far greater than Garp's!
"Wait, wait! Sagel!"
Tee reached out in horror, "It can be explained, everything can be explained!"
Boom!!
Sagel, as if not hearing him, swung his fist down. As he did, the dark clouds parted beneath his feet, and his body plummeted, a powerful shockwave of Haki and black and red lightning radiating from his fist, enveloping the entire island.
"Hundred Demons Assault!!"
Bang!!
The pirates who hadn't managed to evacuate were knocked to the ground by the lightning-filled shockwave, their ships destroyed in an instant. They fell with blood streaming from their seven orifices, and then exploded like fireworks.
In the midst of the explosions, the island began to crumble, massive cracks appearing in the ground. As the shockwave reached its peak, it transformed into a violent explosion, the force of which mixed with the black and red lightning, covering everything in a black and red haze.
The color lingered in the sky, until a powerful tremor tore it apart.
The entire skull-shaped building, along with the other structures on the island, had vanished, reduced to rubble. Tee lay among the debris, his fist glowing with a faint white light, his face covered in blood, gasping for breath.
Beside him, a pool of ice quickly formed, taking the shape of Kuzan, who stood with his hands in his pockets.
The rest...
Abaro Pisaro revealed his true form, his body covered in injuries, barely breathing as he lay there, on the verge of death.
San Juan Wolf lay in a spread-eagle position, his eyes white and devoid of pupils, his body riddled with internal injuries, bleeding profusely.
The others were all injured in various ways, none of them in any better condition.
Van Okka struggled to climb out of the rubble, glancing at the already dead Doku Q, who was only half intact, and shook his head. "Looks like you couldn’t accept your fate."
“Hohahaha!”
In front of him, Sagel descended from the sky, his laughter wild and manic.
The surroundings were nothing but ruins and debris, the ground riddled with cracks. Honeycomb Island had been completely destroyed by a single punch.
"Truly, he’s far stronger than our teacher", Kuzan remarked with a sigh.
Provoking Sagel was a serious mistake.
This time, Titch’s gamble didn’t pay off.
Sagel’s laughter subsided as he strode quickly toward Titch, a sinister grin on his face. "Not bad, the island didn’t get destroyed. Is it the power of the Tyrant King?"
“Sagel!”
Titch panted heavily, his voice sharp. "Enough! I just took your landmark, and you’ve already taken out one of my partners!"
"Don’t give me that crap!"
Sagel’s eyes flashed with fury. "If it weren’t for your encounter with Red Hair, I doubt any of my men would have survived. If you want to be enemies, I’m right here!"
Thud!
As he spoke, Sagel vanished from his spot, reappearing in front of Titch in an instant, his fist glowing with black and red lightning, ready to strike.
Bang!!
A fist encased in ice collided with Sagel’s, shattering the ice and coating his fist with a layer of white frost.
"Dark Hole!"
In the moment his movement was impeded, Titch pressed a hand to the ground, causing a black mist to rise and quickly extend toward Sagel’s feet, attempting to pull him in. His other hand formed a fist and swung forward with force.
"Air Shock!!"
Bang!!
The air around Sagel cracked like a glass mirror, the shockwave causing his body to wobble, his feet sinking into the black mist.
Sagel’s hand grazed Kuzan’s arm, delivering a powerful blow to his chest, shattering him into a spray of ice. Using the momentum, Sagel leaped backward, his feet bursting out of the black mist as he launched a barrage of Haki-infused projectiles.
Titch responded with another Air Shock, the air splitting further, the shockwave neutralizing the incoming Haki projectiles.
"Hah, hah"
Titch panted, one hand on his knee as he stood up, grinning at Sagel, who had landed. "Hohahaha, I had a feeling, but I didn’t expect you to come so quickly. Aibo, do you really want to fight us? We can talk!"
Beside him, the pile of ice reformed into Kuzan, who exhaled a cold breath and extended a hand, condensing more freezing energy.
"Damn it!"
Sagel cursed. "Do you have the nerve to call me Aibo? You’re always so stingy when buying weapons, always eyeing the loot I bring in. Everyone on the seas knows I trade fairly. If I didn’t give it to you, why didn’t you offer something in exchange?!"
"What, did you unify the latter half? Is it all yours now? Can you turn everything you steal into productive assets? You can’t do anything, you just rob and backstab. Dogs can’t change their nature!"
"Since we’re enemies, let’s skip the talk. I’m here for revenge!"
"Hohahaha, Sagel, I don’t want to be your subordinate. I have my own plans!"
"We’re pirates, Sagel. Pirates act for profit. Even if we’re not at the point of ruling the world, if you’re in my way, I can’t achieve my goals. So, being enemies is inevitable. I expected you to come, but you’re alone—"
Titch’s fist glowed with the white light of Air Shock, while his other hand radiated darkness. He laughed at Sagel. "Can you really face all of us?!"
Around him, Shiryu slowly stood up, drawing a sword with a blade that seemed to glow with a crimson hue.
Depp, meanwhile, stroked his sword hilt and licked his lips. "Oh? Just you, handsome Sagel? Last time was a shame, I couldn’t peel that brown-haired woman’s face. Misty, I believe. She was top-notch."
"Burp! You lost a partner, but never mind, Titch. You’ll recruit more, right?"
Basco Qute took a few swigs from his flask, his tongue hanging out as he smiled. "A drink to dull the pain. That punch was quite a hit."
"Dead is dead. Hohahaha, you won’t be able to join my crew, and I’ll miss you, Doku Q!"
Tee wiped the blood from his face and sneered at Sagel, "Sagel, how about one last proposal? What if we join forces? With our combined strength, dominating the seas would be a piece of cake! We'll find One Piece and rule the world! You can handle all the business, how about it?"
"Want to bet on me too?"
Sagel glanced around, "I don't see Garp. Hey, Kuzan, is Garp captured? Where is he? Did you guys evacuate him ahead of time? But you stayed here, deliberately waiting for me, didn't you?"
Garp must have been captured. When he arrived, he still saw the uncompleted repairs, and the only one who could do this was the one preparing to come here to save him.
But there was nothing in the newspapers, and that old man wasn't one to retreat easily. Clearly, he had been left behind.
But now, with no sign of him, it meant that after Tee's raid on Ohara, he had a premonition that Sagel would come, so he removed all unknown factors and left only his core members here.
"Planning to kill me here if you can't persuade me?" Sagel smiled.
"Hehehe, you're sharp, you figured it out quickly."
Tee laughed, "That's right! I'm betting on it! Either become my partner, and we join forces, or if I take you out here, I'll be one less major enemy. If you came with a fleet, I would have retreated, but if you're alone, I might just be able to defeat you here!"
Both of them were Yonko, and he still had a few good fighters here. Sagel should be the one worried!
Coming here alone, he had fallen into Tee's trap.
Next, it would come down to raw power!
Saying this, Tee's expression turned serious, and black smoke began to rise from the back of his head, forming a spiral that extended into the sky. The already gloomy sky was now shrouded in darkness, extinguishing all light.
Clouds, rain, and lightning vanished into the darkness.
The sky above Honeycomb Island was covered in a pitch-black void, and only the light from the outside world faintly revealed its shape.
"The Dark-Dark Fruit isn't just about absorbing things! Developed to its limit, I can even pull down the sun!"
Tee's entire body was enveloped in black mist, and he grinned with his toothless mouth, "You won't escape in my domain, Sagel!"
Boom!
"Flame Fist!"
As soon as he finished speaking, a pillar of fire shot towards him, hitting Tee and sending him crashing to the ground, rolling in pain.
Despite the pain, he didn't seem to have any injuries.
After rolling around for a bit, Tee panted and stood up, laughing, "It's useless, I'm truly invincible!"
The Dark-Dark Fruit, as a special Logia, could not be elementized, but its elementization feature was 'absorption.' It could absorb anything, including damage.
Any attack left him unharmed, but in return, he felt more pain than a normal person.
"Whether you fear me or not doesn't matter to me."
The black jade beads around Sagel's neck automatically separated into a circle, igniting with flames that formed a halo behind him. White vapor began to surround his body, gradually forming a cocoon.
"And I don't need to escape. Maybe you're overestimating yourself with that body of yours."
Clang!
Before he could finish his sentence, a crimson light flashed from the side. Without even looking, Sagel's hand, glowing with black-red lightning, reached out and caught the gap between the blades.
"Who said you could interrupt me while I'm talking!"
Bang!
Sagel kicked out, hitting something on the side, causing a shockwave. Under the impact, Shiryu, holding his sword, was sent flying backward, spitting out a large mouthful of blood.
"Invisibility? It's all just an illusion in front of me!" Sagel sneered.
Trying to ambush him?
No one in this world, no, in this universe, could do it!
"Fine. Practice makes perfect."
The white cocoon formed around Sagel's body, its top spiraling open like a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis, revealing his white flame-like hair.
His shirt tore, exposing his back and abdomen, covered in black Haki. All his Conqueror's Haki was concentrated within him, and now, unlike before, black flames burned around him.
"Full Form · Sixty Times!"
Sagel flexed his hands, baring his sharp white teeth, "Come on, let me show you what true pain feels like!"
