Chapter 635: Jerry, the Celestial Father Tier (First Update)
Chapter 635: Jerry, the Celestial Father Tier (First Update)
...
Passing through the golden gates of Asgard, Jerry was led by an Asgardian Guard to the audience chamber, where he met Odin, the All-Father, and Frigga, the Queen of the Gods.
However, this time, Odin seemed much weaker compared to the last time Jerry saw him.
"Is it because his lifespan is nearing its end?"
Jerry knew that the Asgardians had a lifespan of 5000 years, and even Odin was no exception.
"Jerry, in nearly five thousand years, few things have surprised me, but every time I see you, I find it hard to remain calm. Your power has increased faster than anyone else I've seen in these five thousand years!"
Odin couldn't help but exclaim as soon as he saw Jerry.
Unlike before, Jerry no longer used Magic to conceal his true strength. Therefore, Odin could clearly sense that Jerry's power level was now on par with his own.
At least, it was on par with his current strength, which he was suppressing in order to break through Hela's limitations.
Thinking back, it had only been a few years—about five or six since he banished his son Thor to Earth.
Jerry, once a mere Earth mage, had now reached a level where he could stand on equal footing with Odin.
In contrast, his son Thor, who still hadn't awakened the Odin Force, relied on Mjolnir to display his considerable power.
Of course, when Odin referred to power, he meant the kind that truly belonged to one's self, not the kind that came from suddenly acquiring a powerful artifact.
The sudden surge in power from obtaining something like the Infinity Stones was not something Odin held in high regard, as such power was often fleeting and unreliable.
Only someone like Jerry, who had grown strong through their own efforts, could maintain that strength for the long term.
This was the goal Odin had for Thor. Only by awakening the Odin Force within him could Thor truly take up Odin's mantle and lead Asgard to greater heights.
"There's no choice. This universe is full of powerful beings. If I don't become strong, I can't even protect my family."
Jerry spoke candidly, expressing his innermost thoughts.
If the powerful beings of the Marvel world were to be ranked, based on what he had learned from the Mage Apprentice world, they would be categorized as Earth Tier, Celestial Father Tier, Single Universe Tier, Multiverse Tier, Meta-Universe Tier, and Omniverse Tier.
Most superheroes were at the Earth Tier, with Thor, wielding Mjolnir, being one of the more powerful in that category. Odin, the Ancient One, Thanos, and Captain Marvel were at the Celestial Father Tier.
However, Thanos and Captain Marvel were barely at the Celestial Father Tier, while the Ancient One and Odin were among the most powerful in that tier.
If Odin were in Asgard and the Ancient One had the protection of the three Sanctums, both would be at the peak of the Celestial Father Tier, on the verge of reaching the Single Universe Tier.
With the six Infinity Stones, Thanos could also reach this level, though it would be unstable. If the Infinity Gauntlet were to be taken away, his power would plummet.
For example, if Thanos had the Infinity Gauntlet with all six stones, his overall strength would surpass Jerry's.
However, in a real fight, Thanos wouldn't stand a chance against Jerry, who had numerous ways to disarm him of the Infinity Gauntlet.
Without the Gauntlet, Thanos's power would drop to the bare minimum of the Celestial Father Tier.
Jerry's current overall strength, excluding the incomplete Ring World, firmly places him at the Celestial Father Tier. If the incomplete Ring World is included, his overall strength, while not matching the peak of Odin and the Ancient One, still ranks among the more powerful beings at the Celestial Father Tier.
As for the Dimensional Deities, most of them are at the Single Universe Tier within their own dimensions, while a few weaker ones are at the peak of the Celestial Father Tier. Outside their own Dimensional Realms, their power becomes uncertain. The stronger ones can reach the peak of the Celestial Father Tier, while the weaker ones may only barely reach the Celestial Father Tier, or even fall short.
Jerry believes that the truly stable Single Universe Tier beings are the Celestials that exist within the universe. This is why he has not yet touched the Celestial embryo on Earth. He fears that doing so might attract a Single Universe Tier Celestial, and he is not yet a match for such a being.
Above the Single Universe Tier, the Multiverse Tier represents the true Gods of the Multiverse, like Eternity and Death. The Meta-Universe Tier consists of the Lifeguard, which oversees and maintains the balance of countless Multiverses. The Omniverse Tier is the Supreme Oaa, capable of creation and destruction with a mere thought.
However, for Jerry, the highest level he can currently interact with is the Single Universe Tier. The levels above that are only what he has seen in the Mage Apprentice world, and their existence is still uncertain.
But he is certain that the entity that brought him to the Marvel world and granted him the Panel is at least at the Omniverse Tier, possibly even higher.
"There are indeed many powerful beings in the universe we inhabit. I hope Thor can understand these truths as early as you do."
Hearing Jerry's sigh, Odin couldn't help but sigh as well. Having lived for five thousand years, how could he not be aware of the various powerful beings in the universe?
"Jerry, your sudden visit must be more than just a desire to see us, right?"
After his sigh, Odin directly brought the conversation to the main topic. Over the years, he had come to know Jerry quite well. Jerry is a good person, but if there were no specific matters, he rarely visited Asgard. In the past, his visits were either for learning Magic or borrowing a spaceship.
So this time, there must be a reason for his visit.
"I want to borrow the Cosmic Cube to understand the Laws of Space and perfect my Dimensional Realm!"
Jerry didn't make up any nonsense and directly revealed the Ring World in his hand. With his current strength, there was no longer any need to hide anything.
Odin probed the Ring World in Jerry's hand with his mind, sensing the incomplete world within, and his eyes widened in surprise.
"I never thought you would reach this level!"
While Jerry's previous strength had surprised him, the Ring World Jerry now displayed left him truly astonished.
Creating a Dimensional Realm and having a Dimensional Realm of one's own is a common method for most Celestial Father Tier beings to advance to the Single Universe Tier. The Asgardian gods have followed this path, from his grandfather to him, continuously refining their Dimensional Realm, Asgard.
Because of the ability to inherit, each generation becomes stronger than the last. By his generation, they were almost on the verge of breaking through to the Single Universe Tier. If he could live for a few more centuries, he would undoubtedly achieve it.
Unfortunately, his lifespan is coming to an end, so the hope of breaking through to the Single Universe Tier now rests with the next generation, Thor.
