Chapter 632: They Look So Alike
Chapter 632: They Look So Alike
Bang!
Luo Fa rolled through the snow several times before leaping back up, his body now cloaked in a layer of white that left him disheveled.
“What the hell just happened?!”
He turned toward the others, stunned.
Out of the five people, three were already dead.
The other two weren’t worth mentioning, but Adela—second only to Moer in strength—was actually gone?!
How could this Navy be so strong?
He turned his gaze to the white-haired young girl standing before him, chewing something casually.
Even this fellow clanswoman child possessed shocking strength. After clashing for a while, he’d actually been overpowered and kicked away.
“Are you kidding me?!”
Luo Fa’s gloomy face darkened further. “With the holy maiden officer’s strength bestowed upon me, I should’ve surpassed every ‘Luo’ in history—even the old ancestors wouldn’t stand a chance against me! Little brat, there’s no way you can match me!”
“Huh?”
Lida tilted her head. “But you seem weaker.”
“Weaker?”
Luo Fa stood straighter, smirking coldly. “Little brat, maybe I should call you niece out of respect for our lineage, but you were picked up by someone without even passing the Luo Trials, weren’t you? Otherwise, you’d never have become a Navy. Without completing the Trials, there’s no way you could rival me! Even with the Luo bloodline, you’re still no match!”
He inhaled deeply, his Bodystart technique surging as his voice deepened. “Let me tell you first—this strength granted by the holy maiden officer has shattered the Luo Family’s bloodline curse, making me even stronger!”
Rip!
His white knight uniform tore open, revealing his muscular torso.
His entire frame expanded vertically and horizontally, swelling into a two-meter-tall bulging mass of muscle.
From his flesh, orange ash began burning away, his pupils glowing the same fiery hue.
“This is my strength!”
His voice now a guttural roar. “Gluttony State! I can store anything I consume and unleash it as my ultimate strength to crush enemies! Little brat, no technique—even the Luo Family’s—can replicate muscle itself!”
Lida arched a brow. “Isn’t that just ‘Life Return’?”
The technique was nearly identical.
“My strength is unique! No technique can rival it!” Luo Fa thundered, charging forward like a beast. “I’ll tear every Luo Family member apart!”
“Aww, don’t worry about that. They’re practically finished already.”
Lida shrugged. “Not important anymore.”
Roar!!!
With an explosive bellow, Luo Fa surged forward like a mountain of flesh, snow scattering like white mist under his force, obscuring the battlefield.
Through the swirling white, his massive silhouette loomed, striking downward at Lida.
She watched the palm descend, then stepped forward like a ghost, evading the crushing blow.
In an instant, her form shifted to her maiden state, her palm slamming into Luo Fa’s waist.
“Big guy, sometimes size just makes you a bigger target. Energy Drain!”
The snow mist cleared, revealing Luo Fa’s colossal form now kneeling, paralyzed.
“Strength… my strength!”
Panic flooded his eyes as he struggled to move, only to find his body hollow—strength vanished, like an empty shell.
“Strength?”
Lida aimed her palm at his head. “Here, I’ll return it. Impact!”
Boom!!
A white shockwave blasted his skull, engulfing it in blinding light. The explosion sent him crashing to the ground, snow flying as his massive form shrank back to normal. His head vanished beneath the white light, leaving only a headless corpse that thudded lifelessly to the earth.
“So boring.”
Lida wrinkled her nose, glancing skyward. “Oh, Kuro’s almost back.”
…
“Nailsfist Technique—Straight Nail!”
Bang!
Snow erupted.
Sazil’s punch missed Moer entirely, just as before. The moment he closed in, Moer vanished.
Moer reappeared on the side, dodging arrows launched at him.
“I told you, you can’t hit me.” He scratched his head. “Ugh, annoying. Are they all dead? Guess I’m the last one. Oh, and the holy maiden.”
“That’s right! Only you remain!” Sazil spun around. “The Seven Sins should be seven, but you’re only five. The rest must be stopping Kuro Vice Admiral. But no one can stop Kuro Vice Admiral. Your defeat is inevitable!”
“True enough. Golden Lion’s a tough one. After all, only one person’s blocking him. That affirmation won’t succeed.” Moer nodded.
One?
Sazil froze. One? Here, excluding the holy maiden, there were only five. So another ‘Sin’ remained.
But it didn’t matter. No matter their numbers, they’d never match his strength—especially under Kuro Vice Admiral’s command.
“Should I run first? No, can’t leave the holy maiden behind. Hey, holy maiden officer, let me get you out of here?”
Moer called to the distant Iron Maiden.
No response.
“Guess the holy maiden officer declined.” Moer rubbed his chin. “Well then, guess I’ll have to kill you all. Don’t let my looks fool you—I’m pretty combat-savvy.”
In a flash, he vanished.
This time, Sazil felt pain erupt in his abdomen.
Instinctively, he raised his Haki guard.
“Your Observation Haki’s pretty good,” Moer’s voice came as he materialized before Sazil, his right fist coated in jet-black Armament Haki, slamming into Sazil’s gut.
Bang!
Sazil choked, staggering backward, nearly lifted off his feet.
“Sorry, my Armament Haki’s stronger.”
Moer grinned, eyes narrowing as he vanished again.
Thud-thud-thud!
Three arrows struck his former position.
Ju Geng nocked her Great Bow, hands free as she took stance toward a spot.
Moer appeared there, throwing a punch, but Ju Geng caught his arm.
“Heave Mountain!”
She lunged forward, both hands shoving, hurling Moer away.
As he flew, Ju Geng swiftly drew her bow, loosing a volley at Moer midair.
“Man, you’re strong. Even stronger than that Observation Haki guy.”
A voice came from Fen Ni’s side.
Moer appeared, lazy and relaxed. “Guess I’ll deal with you first. You seem easier.”
“M-Me?! Don’t come closer! I’ve got paralysis serum!”
Fen Ni scrambled back, fumbling a vial from his belt pouch, waving it wildly at Moer.
“Fen Ni!”
Ju Geng frowned, drawing another arrow, aiming at Moer.
This man’s speed was too fast. With that teleportation strength, she couldn’t track him.
But…
Moer halted mid-reach, brow lifting at Fen Ni’s antics. “You look so familiar… Wanted to say earlier. You really remind me of someone I knew. She loved serums too. First time we met, she acted just like this—like a startled fawn with a bottle in hand. And that annoying guy who liked writing diaries was beside her.”
Moer’s lips quirked slightly. “She was my best friend… Pity she’s dead.”
