Chapter 630: Incomplete Greed
Chapter 630: Incomplete Greed
"I did it on purpose."
Donald stood upright, his gaze sweeping over Ming Mei with unflinching intensity. "I admit it—you make me crave."
"You don’t need to say that twice!"
Ming Mei gritted her teeth, her voice sharp. "You strange man! If you truly desire me, you should let me go!"
"That’s impossible."
Donald tightened his grip on his long spear, the blade pressing against Ming Mei’s chest. "You don’t seem eager to surrender. I’ll have no choice but to kill you."
This time, there was no mercy—no room for her to speak. The spear’s edge had already pierced her skin, the pain searing and undeniable. Ming Mei knew this man wasn’t bluffing.
Straightforward.
Ming Mei was certain—every word he spoke was the truth.
His craving was real. The hunger in his eyes was palpable, especially when she entered her lust state. She could feel his desire like a tangible force. Yet his intent to kill was equally genuine.
Two conflicting desires, seamlessly fused within him—no contradiction, no hesitation.
In her life, she’d never met a man like this.
No… once, long ago, there had been one.
She hailed from the Twin-Horse Kingdom, a geisha and the top courtesan among them. As the Twin-Horse Kingdom thrived as a Kabuki powerhouse, Ming Mei had risen above countless rivals through sheer talent. Her mastery of music and dance was unmatched.
Yet she was a woman who sold art, not her body. From childhood, she’d grown accustomed to men’s lecherous gazes—those that seemed ready to tear her apart and devour her whole.
They all burned with desire but denied it.
No one dared admit the truth.
How hypocritical.
Dirty men, all of them—except for one.
"I’ll make this nation laugh again!"
He was a disheveled man, his appearance and mannerisms bordering on absurd. His eyes weren’t pure, and his gaze toward her was laced with the same hunger. Yet beneath that desire lay something indescribable. Ming Mei couldn’t name it, but the man called ‘Wulang’ exuded an undeniable charm.
Then…
He died.
That man was gone, and with him, the strange allure he carried. In her eyes, all other men became the same—filthy worms clinging to their dirty desires, too cowardly to confess them.
This twisted world was despicable.
"How envious I am…"
As Ming Mei danced effortlessly among men, her heart ached with longing.
She envied Wulang’s gaze—the light in his eyes. If the world were filled with such men, perhaps that world wouldn’t be so bad.
"Follow me."
One day, she met a maiden imprisoned within the Iron Maiden.
"Follow me, and I’ll show you a world reborn."
Ming Mei’s eyes trembled. Instinctively, her hand reached toward the Iron Maiden.
Why not give it a try?
The world was already broken.
Pthud!
The spear pierced her chest, snapping her back to reality.
"Truly…"
Ming Mei’s trembling hand brushed the blade embedded in her chest. "It’s… quite hard."
"My weapon isn’t the only thing hard", Donald said bluntly. "Seeing you stirs me too."
"You’re a man who keeps his word", Ming Mei smiled faintly.
"My virtues speak for themselves", Donald nodded.
Ming Mei closed her eyes, laughing bitterly. "What a pity… If the world were filled with men like you…"
Her hand slid from the spear, falling limp.
Donald withdrew the blade, watching her body collapse. He nodded once, murmuring, "Even in death… I still crave you."

Bang!
Clang!
Elsewhere, Adela gripped his greatsword with both hands, cleaving downward at Kas.
But the blade met Kas’s white energy like unyielding steel—no matter how fiercely Adela struck, the barrier held firm.
"What the hell are you? A Devil Fruit user?!"
Adela roared, his voice guttural. "Break it! I’ll carve you open and rip out your heart!"
"I cannot!"
Kas’s expression hardened. "My life is dedicated to the Justice Cause. I won’t surrender it to you!"
"Save your lies, hypocrite!"
Adela pointed his greatsword at the Dougleg Navy Division behind Kas. "Those people behind you—they have no hearts! You’re just using them! I see it now—they’re weapons, aren’t they? Tools to discard once they’re spent! Humans are selfish creatures!"
"Human?"
Kas froze, staring at Adela. Suddenly, realization dawned. "That explains it. I sensed something off earlier… Your heart… it’s incomplete."
"I’m nothing like your feeble kind!"
Adela grinned maliciously. "I’m a Soldier Cyborg, forged on Moe Island. A superior being—far above your wretched humanity!"
"A cyborg?"
Kas narrowed his eyes, glancing at his subordinates before returning his gaze to Adela. "So… like my subordinates, you lack a heart."
"Exactly!"
Adela crouched like a beast, his greatsword raised. "Though I’m superior, I want to know—what does it feel like to be complete? You humans, so inferior, yet you possess what I cannot! Why should I, who stands above you, remain incomplete?!"
A jet-black aura surged around him, his eyes glowing like embers smoldering in black ink.
"Killing you will show me what it means to be whole!"
Adela lunged, his greatsword crashing down on the white energy barrier.
Boom!!!
The impact sent a shockwave rippling through the air.
"Hand yourself over!!" Adela bellowed, his face twisted with fury.
Kas gazed upward, suddenly closing his eyes. A tear slipped down his cheek. "I feel it… When you clash against my Justice, I sense your longing—a yearning to become a Complete Being. That’s not greed… It’s hope. Pitiful, tragic… What suffering forged you into this?"
His eyes snapped open. White energy erupted outward, encasing Adela in its radiant grip.
"I won’t strike down the incomplete, for they are but fragments of wickedness. If you seek to kill me, become a Complete Being first. Then, let Justice and wickedness collide! As Justice, I will never fall!"
