Chapter 617: The Battle at the Kunlun Mountain Mega Psychic Spring (Part 2)
Chapter 617: The Battle at the Kunlun Mountain Mega Psychic Spring (Part 2)
The entire battle seemed complex, but from the moment Chancellor Cao and Prangt ascended to the sky until Su Yu and his companions, along with their feline friend, unleashed their ultimate moves to target Celine, only three minutes had passed.
The time was so short that Chancellor Cao and Prangt hadn’t even started their fight.
Skrull Planet
Emperor Manina XIII and Commander Rance both looked pale.
Seeing the situation, they knew they were likely to lose.
Victoria was completely preoccupied by Alyss, leaving no one to aid Celine.
Celine, already under the relentless assault of Su Yu and his group, was on the verge of being eliminated. It wouldn’t be long before she was killed.
When that happened, their side would face a crushing defeat.
Bang!
Manina, in a rage, punched the screen displaying the live feed, creating a fist-sized hole.
He roared into the video call with Rance:
“@¥%…… (Sunlight profanity), the Holy Silver Federation must be favoring Earth! How can such powerful beings be brought out of the game? It’s only been half a year! Will Su Yu bring out all the Eighth-Rank beings in the game after another half a year?”
Manina’s anger knew no bounds.
He had been informed by Prime Minister Gorden of the Pacific Nation that Morning Star and Tina were brought out of the game by Su Yu. Initially, they were only Sixth-Rank, which didn’t concern him much.
But now, Morning Star and Tina had ascended to Seventh-Rank, increasing their threat tenfold.
Worse still, Su Yu had brought out another Seventh-Rank peak individual who could burst into God-Rank combat power with the right enhancements. And they could all resurrect multiple times. Was this even fair?
Manina genuinely suspected that the Holy Silver people were on Earth’s side, continuously buffing the humans. How many more powerful beings were left in the Evolution game?
If it weren’t for the overwhelming power of the Holy Silver people, Manina would have cursed them out.
Rance shared the same frustration as the emperor, but he felt more helpless.
He smiled bitterly and said, “Your Majesty, even if the Holy Silver people directly inserted a ‘Planetary-Rank’ strong being into the game for Su Yu to bring out, we would be powerless against it.
After all, compared to the vast territory controlled by the Holy Silver people, we are mere ants.”
Hearing Rance’s words, Manina’s anger subsided somewhat.
He leaned back in his chair, looking dejected.
Indeed.
The Holy Silver Federation controlled a territory spanning 250,000 light-years, while the Skrulls controlled only 0.003 light-years. The Skrulls hadn’t even completed the construction of a Dyson Sphere.
Compared to the vast Holy Silver Federation, they were nothing more than a speck of dust.
Even if the Holy Silver Federation truly favored Earth and wanted Earth to win the war, they had no choice but to smile and accept it.
Manina was dejected for a few seconds, preparing to face the reality.
But at that moment, Rance suddenly shouted in the video call, “Look, Your Majesty, Prangt has moved!”
“What?” Manina was startled.
He looked forward, but the screen he had just broken was no longer displaying the live feed.
Manina quickly said to Rance, “Rance, send the live feed to my phone!”
“Understood!” Rance multitasked, keeping an eye on the video call while fulfilling the emperor’s request.
The scene returned to Earth.
Just as Su Yu and his companions, along with their feline friend, were about to unleash their ultimate moves to kill Celine, Prangt intervened.
He couldn't just stand by and watch his direct descendant die under the barrage of attacks from Su Yu's group.
So, he activated the mech's "spatial teleportation" module and instantly appeared beside Xilin.
Upon arrival, he activated the mech's shield system, blocking all four of Su Yu's attacks and saving Xilin from certain death.
However, he knew this wouldn't solve the problem at its root.
Prime Minister Cao activated the sword handle, and a bright blue beam of light shot toward Plante's vicinity.
Plante glanced up, knowing that if Cao attacked now, he wouldn't be able to protect Xilin.
He surveyed the surrounding powerful beings and said helplessly, "Everyone, let's stop. We, the Skrull Expeditionary Forces, admit defeat."
Plante's voice wasn't loud, but everyone on the battlefield heard him and stopped attacking their enemies.
After Alia stopped, Victoria quickly positioned herself in front of the already bisected Simons, finally breathing a sigh of relief.
All eyes in the field turned to Plante.
The only exception was Skarlo, who remained buried in his book without the slightest intention of looking up. Even when Plante admitted defeat, he didn't even blink.
Plante's expression remained unchanged.
He looked up at the approaching Prime Minister Cao and declared, "We admit defeat. This giant psychic spring will belong to you all. However, you must promise to let our people retreat safely from Blue Star."
"What if I don't agree?" Cao countered.
"If you don't agree, we'll fight until the end!" Plante sized up Alia. "The potion she drank must have been a temporary power surge potion. It can't last for days, right?
With Victoria and me guarding, you won't take over this psychic spring in a short time!"
Prime Minister Cao thought for a moment, then quickly exchanged opinions with Su Yu, Emperor Liu Che, and Elder Yang. They decided to settle for the best outcome.
"Alright, we agree to your conditions. We hope you keep your word."
Prime Minister Cao finished speaking and used his mental power to contact Alia. The two of them protected the remaining Blue Star's strong ones as they retreated from the psychic spring.
Su Yu and his group weren't afraid that Plante would renege on his word. After all, Plante was the strongest on Skrull, and he wouldn't be like a petty thug who could change his mind so easily.
So, Su Yu and his group retreated smoothly and were soon out of the psychic spring's range.
After the Blue Star cultivators left, Plante and Victoria exchanged a glance, looking at the chaotic battlefield, unsure of what to say.
The biggest variable in this battle was Alia.
At the beginning, Alia was mixed in the crowd, and Plante hadn't given her a proper glance. After all, she was only at the initial Sixth Rank and had the slowest flight speed among the group.
But who would have thought she could burst out with the peak Seventh Rank combat power! The difference between initial Sixth Rank and peak Seventh Rank combat power was more than thirty times!
And after drinking another potion, she could even temporarily wield Eighth Rank divine power!
Without Alia's appearance, how could they possibly lose this battle?
Victoria recalled Alia's attack style and turned to look at Plante, "Plante, she must be a 'Battlemage.' When I visited the Holy Silver Federation, I saw some of these professions. The patterns she activated are the best proof.
Of course, she couldn't be from the Holy Silver Federation. The only possibility is that she was brought out of the game by Su Yu, just like his pet cat."
