Chapter 616: Libero!
Chapter 616: Libero!
Appearing before Sag, touching Satan's spider legs, were Tee's two subordinates—the current third ship captain of the Blackbeard Pirates, sniper Van Okka, and the sixth ship captain, the 'Tsukihunter' Katerina Depp.
"The fog just now was terrifying. I wouldn't dare get close," Van Okka said with a smile.
"So as soon as the mist dissipated, we came over, and even went to the edge of the island. We were thinking of sneaking in to see if there were any suitable technological weapons, but..."
She glanced at Satan, "This guy is already enough."
"Would a prisoner from the sixth level bow down to others?"
Satan looked down at Depp and said, "Unexpected."
"Don't provoke him, Tee is different," Depp waved her hand.
"His lineage is too," Satan said.
"Oh, so you know about it?"
Depp shrugged, then stuck out her tongue and licked her lips before looking at Sag, who was about to sink into the sea, and said, "It's a shame. If a power holder is completely submerged, they can't resurface alone, no matter how strong their vitality is. The energy of the sea is far stronger than that of a Sea Prism Stone. Considering our alliance, should we save you or not?"
She crossed her arms, assuming an aggressive stance, and smiled, "Tee wants a lot. You only gave him one map, and you should have two. Also, we want the Three-Eyed Tribe girl. If you disappear, then Tee's plan can be smoothly implemented. After all, you're the biggest in the first half of the New World."
"And if you don't show up, can I hunt those beautiful women under you? If they don't become our partners..."
The 'Tsuki' in 'Tsukihunter' refers to beautiful women, while 'Tsuki' usually indicates youth.
Combined, Depp is a hunter who enjoys hunting young and beautiful women.
She loves peeling off the faces of those beautiful people.
"Alright, these are our demands."
Van Okka stepped forward and said calmly, "Sag, give us a map, give us the Three-Eyed Tribe girl, and Tee has been saying that your weapons are too expensive. Can't you make them a little cheaper?"
The largest black market goods source in Ohara is divided into two parts: one is other pirates roaming the sea, and the other is pirates who have joined Honeycomb Island and are under Tee's protection.
The latter even takes up a bit more, although Ohara doesn't serve as the black market center. All transactions from the latter half are conducted at the port and then transported to Donquixote.
However, the loot is basically equivalent to the materials Tee needs, especially firearms, cannons, and ships. It's not a matter of being expensive; it's just that his scale and methods can only manage this much.
After such a long time, Tee naturally has complaints and even wants to swallow Sag up and directly occupy the prosperous Ohara. If he were to turn that place into his territory, it would be like taking off.
After all, in terms of combat power, Sag may be slightly better than him, but in terms of economic value, Sag can outdo him by a long shot.
His Honeycomb Island is now decorated in a primitive style, very traditional pirate fashion.
Sag's Ohara Kingdom looks more prosperous than any city in the world, having evolved from the City of Desire to an even more desirable place.
If Sag were to disappear here, then it's very likely that Tee would get everything!
However...
Van Okka glanced at the fallen Satan and dismissed the idea that had formed in her mind.
The pressure they would face would be too great, and they weren't yet prepared to confront the World Government head-on. Moreover, Tee wanted to establish the 'Pirate Kingdom.'
Just capturing Kirby may not be enough as a bargaining chip, but if they rescue Sag, facing Sag's pressure, they might agree.
It's better to ask for more benefits now. As for whether Sag will agree later, he's not the kind of person who lacks integrity.
Plotting and scheming, promises are just promises. Those who break their word won't have strong willpower either and certainly won't become the number one in the sea like Sag is now.
"Indeed..."
Sag snorted and sized up Van Okka and Depp, "Where do you get the courage to negotiate with me? Even that idiot Tee doesn't dare to talk to me, and you two are negotiating?"
"But you're about to sink."
Depp pointed behind her at Satan, "Even if you don't die immediately, the famous Five Elders are here, and they won't let your subordinates smoothly sneak into the sea to take you away, not even that 'Swordswoman.' In the end, you'll still sink into the depths of the sea, and everything will be lost."
If Sag dies, the Apocalypse Pirates will be in name only, just like Big Mom's and Hundred Beast Pirates, who have combat power but aren't top-tier. In the end, they might just end up guarding Ohara and waiting to be annihilated.
What about joining the Cross Organization?
That won't change the outcome; the Cross Organization doesn't have that much manpower.
"Humans always arrogantly think they know best. What makes you think I'll definitely sink into the sea?"
Two hundred meters, that's all."
As the seawater rose to submerge Sagel's jaw, a sinister smile crept across his face. He took a deep breath, and his head, floating on the surface, suddenly swelled.
It wasn't like a balloon like Straw Hat's, but an unusually textured swelling. As it grew, the lake churned, and water surged over the edges.
Amidst the turbulence, Sagel's massive head extended upward, revealing a neck larger than a giant's. Then came the shoulders, followed by the chest, and his enlarged body even burst through the lake's edges, making the crater within the island even larger.
Satan, in his half-bull-ghost form, stood only as tall as a bear, while Depp and Van Okka were shorter, one at 3.6 meters and the other at 3.4. They instinctively looked up, seeing Sagel, who was almost like a mountain, with his chest above the water.
Most areas with islands in the vast sea are shallow, with only a few deep-sea zones.
The area near Aghored is the epitome of a shallow sea, with a depth of only two hundred meters.
This island was not just a simple island; it rose two hundred meters to become a shallow sea. So, Sagel's current position is only two hundred meters from the 'seabed.'
Sagel's original height is 1.9 meters, similar to Buggy's. With the Dragon Breathing Technique, he can reach three meters, and in the 100% of 100% stance, he can extend to five meters.
His multiplier is currently fifty times.
In other words...
"It's not just Straw Hat who has a so-called free form. I also have it, and when I'm liberated, I'll be even more destructive. By the way, if I liberate my original body, my size will reach..."
A thunderous roar echoed.
A bolt of lightning flashed across the sky, illuminating Sagel as he looked down on the tiny ants below. His bared teeth, gleaming in the lightning's glow, seemed blinding to them.
A voice that was either surprising or terrifying, like thunder, reverberated throughout the island.
"It's two hundred and fifty meters! Full Form Liberation!!"
Sagel stretched his hand out from the water and clenched it into a fist.
With a roar, a massive fireball appeared on his fist. The hurricane held the fireball in place as it expanded outward, and a dozen bolts of lightning struck it. The electricity danced around the fireball, creating a dazzling display in the gloomy sky, like a miniature sun.
"Although I don't have the extreme physical strength brought by compression, my power and range are..."
The sun seemed to fall.
BOOM!!!
A fierce storm arose as the punch was thrown, instantly forming a howling hurricane eye. The bluish-gray air current vortex shredded the clouds into tattered remnants.
A massive fire ring quickly expanded outward, enveloping the dead island, already withered by the silent mist. The outer edges were filled with cracks, resembling molten lava from the earth's core, seeping through the fissures.
In a fraction of a second, spiderweb-like cracks spread from the point of impact, covering the island near the Damnation Star.
The ground near Sagel, a mix of rocks and soil, crumbled inward like a fragile eggshell. The coastline twisted and deformed in the violent tremors, and the once-gentle beach became a crumpled piece of paper, distorted, contorted, and shattered.
Then, a larger shockwave in a circular shape pushed outward, first pushing back the billions of tons of seawater along the coastline. The combination of fire and power even evaporated some of the seawater in an instant, revealing the seabed. Countless fish, unable to escape in time, burst into bloody mist under the impact.
Farther away, the shockwave rippled, compressing the seawater into towering walls that rose upward. The wave crests even touched the low-hanging dark clouds.
The entire island now resembled a cookie crumbled by a child. Behind Sagel, half of the island had split into several irregularly shaped smaller islands.
In front of Sagel, where his fist struck, half of Aghored was completely obliterated. Wave after wave of towering waves crashed downward, filling the vacuum zone created by the punch. The intense impact even caused a massive turbulent vortex to form beneath the fist, threatening to tear everything apart.
It was just a simple elemental punch, but with a height of over two hundred meters, larger than Saint Juan Orochi, the power of this punch was geometrically increased.
This is Sagel's liberation form.
In this form, his previously compressed fifty-fold body disappeared.
Instead, it was the most primitive form, with a fifty-fold increase in size, a hundred-fold boost in speed, and a fifty-fold increase in weight and strength.
This raw power once caused Kaido to scoff, as it was mismatched with his combat skills, making him an inefficient and clumsy target for skilled fighters.
But this violence and destructive power far surpassed the full form!
Sagel braced himself on the edge of the island, half of which was submerged, and with a single leap, his massive body sprang out of the water. In that instant, his form shrank again, transforming into a state fifty times the size of his full form.
"The ability to freely change size isn't just some exclusive power of that Nika," Sagel said with a laugh, turning to look at another nearby island. "Did he escape? He got a pretty good ability, Van Okka."
There was no option for the ability to become ineffective, but that was just a rumor in the Great Pirate Era. There were abilities that could be nullified by seawater, but they wouldn't affect the ability user's body directly; those people would simply find themselves unable to use their powers in the water.
Sagel was only chest-deep in the water, and even if it reached his neck, he would still be able to use his abilities.
The only thing the sea could do to hinder Sagel was to prevent him from diving. His bad luck was far worse than the sea's rejection.
"Let me pay the price to enter the sea," he said, half of his body submerged.
He looked at the four giant beasts surrounding the enormous robot and snarled, "That's a big one!"
...
On the shattered island, Van Okka, accompanied by Depp, teleported to the spot. Before they could steady themselves, a three-headed serpent-like Hydrozoan burst from the sea, its three heads lunging towards the diminutive duo.
Swish!
The three heads slammed into the ground, missing their target.
On the serpent's back, Van Okka and Depp appeared.
"You've angered it," Depp said with a laugh. "It's terrifying, and that form is much larger than Orochi's."
"Orochi couldn't withstand a punch from him," Van Okka added.
"That one is just big in size. This is a Demolition God. You're overdoing it, Depp. We should have rescued Sagel from the start. Now, we'll have to deal with his anger. Tee will blame us too."
"It's just a matter of saying a few words. Sagel shouldn't be that petty. At worst, Tee can apologize, after all, he's the captain, and he's responsible for everything."
"Also, shouldn't you be farther away? Why are you still on this island?" Depp asked.
"I'm still practicing. Let's go," Van Okka replied.
The two figures disappeared again, vanishing on the serpent's back.
Hiss!
On the Damnation Star, Lily soared into the air and slashed, cleaving a deep-sea Hydrozoan in armor form that had suddenly appeared nearby. Her eyes flashed like lightning, and after the downward slash, she pivoted to the side, executing a flying bird slash that pierced through another glowing jellyfish-like Hydrozoan.
Sagel's towering form caught Lily's attention, and she immediately felt a sense of foreboding.
Sagel had entered the water in the New World. Then, a group of Hydrozoans rose from the sea, surrounding the Damnation Star.
Boom!
Renee fired a shot, piercing the head of a Hydrozoan, while another Hydrozoan opened its mouth to bite down. Mary, who had jumped up, punched the head, flattening it, and sent a wave crashing into the sea.
Hawkins reached the stern, his sword transforming into straw as he twisted it forward to bind and crush the head of another Hydrozoan. Just as he was about to attack another one, he froze, his gaze fixed on something ahead.
"Digital OverDrive!"
A lead column grazed his golden hair and struck the head of the Hydrozoan, knocking it unconscious. The column then rebounded back into Ulchi's hand.
"You're..."
Before he could finish, he too froze in place, staring incredulously at the sea ahead.
The dark clouds had not yet dispersed, casting a gloomy shadow over the sea. But even then, the sea was still visible. Now, the sea surface before them had turned pitch black.
The black sea suddenly roiled, and countless ridges sliced through the waves, revealing mountainous forms with bizarre heads.
The sound of their scales rubbing together drowned out the wind's howl, and layer upon layer of shadows compressed the sky into a crack. The vortex formed in the circular array, propelled by the shockwaves, crushed the remnants of the warships.
"You've got to be kidding me!"
Renee immediately activated Infinite Energy Mode, her teeth bared in a snarl. "How can there be so many Hydrozoans? There's a limit to bad luck!"
"Since Sagel occupied Ohara, aside from the celestial phenomenon, he hasn't had any bad luck. All our plans have proceeded smoothly."
Lily tried to remain calm and analyze the situation, but her trembling pupils betrayed her fear.
Everything had gone too smoothly, even the celestial phenomenon that could have destroyed their ship was under their control. Lily had even begun to believe that Sagel's bad luck had left them, no longer affecting their group.
If bad luck had a will of its own, perhaps it was accumulating, waiting for the right opportunity to unleash its full force.
This was a big one!
The entire island and its surrounding waters were teeming with large Hydrozoans, their shadows beneath the sea surface turning the sea black. It was impossible to count them all.
"Damn!"
Sagel was astonished at the sight.
He had poked the Hydrozoan's nest? Usually, he couldn't catch any fish, but now, using himself as bait, he had attracted a swarm!
"What? If you didn't swallow me when I was two, are you now determined to swallow me at all costs? Is this the will of fate?"
Sagel clicked his tongue. "I don't believe in this nonsense!"
