Upon hearing Coulson mention her father, Stephanie's face showed no trace of pity, only a hint of hatred.

He remembered that when they captured Markley, Stephanie's attitude toward him was not like this at all.
"She's not, or rather, not entirely Stephanie anymore. She's been possessed by Hive."
Jerry interjected from the side.
As soon as Stephanie appeared, Jerry had sensed something was off.
Clearly, after using the Blackstone Gate to save Hive, Stephanie had been killed and possessed by him.
Hive's true form was a mass of mutated parasites, which gained immortality by parasitizing humans.
In the process, Hive also inherited all the memories and some of the emotions of the host, but the dominant consciousness remained Hive's own.
Hive had parasitized Markley's brother and inherited his hatred for Markley.
Thus, when Markley's name was mentioned, he showed a look of hatred.
"Who are you?"
Hearing Jerry immediately reveal his true nature, Stephanie, or rather, Hive, immediately became wary.
Jerry waved his hand dismissively.
"Me? Just a nobody, a nobody. You continue!"
"Hmph, looking for death!"
Hive's expression changed as she sensed the disdain in Jerry's tone. She reached out and pointed toward Jerry.
Instantly, a swarm of parasites burst from her palm, flying directly toward Jerry.
She intended to use her abilities to devour this person who dared to look down on her, while also testing whether Coulson had any hidden cards.
Coulson's decision to stay in the basement instead of going to the main gate was unexpected.
Something felt off to her.
Coulson watched as Hive immediately targeted Jerry with her attack, and he couldn't help but smile inwardly.
Why attack anyone else when you attack Jerry? That's just asking for death from the start!
"Fiendfyre!"
Jerry simply raised his hand slightly, and a blue flame appeared in front of him. The flame seemed to have a life of its own, forming into the shape of a tiger. The tiger lunged forward and swallowed all the parasites flying toward Jerry, consuming them entirely.
"Impossible!"
Hive's face showed disbelief as she realized her parasites, which had lost all connection after being swallowed by the blue flame, were now gone. The parasites were part of her own body, capable of consuming flesh to replenish life force and possessing strong resistance to fire and rapid recovery abilities.
Normal fire couldn't kill her parasites.
What Hive didn't know was that Jerry's Fiendfyre wasn't ordinary fire. It was a highly refined version that not only had extremely high temperatures but also carried a curse, capable of directly destroying the core of life and soul.
"Attack, kill him!"
If the parasites could be killed, it meant her own body could be killed as well. This was a terrifying prospect for Hive, who could supposedly live forever.
She dared not take the risk of attacking personally and instead quickly ordered the four mutants she controlled to join forces and attack Jerry.
Meanwhile, she released more parasites, bypassing Jerry and heading toward the S.H.I.E.L.D. mutant squad led by Skye.
