Chapter 602: Rebuilding the Hall of the Hollow King
Chapter 602: Rebuilding the Hall of the Hollow King
Within the colossal stone palace.
The interior of the palace was simple in structure, consisting of only an exceptionally grand main hall and several rooms at the back, with no upper or lower levels.
As Feng Ye had created this place on a whim as a temporary residence, he hadn't put much thought into making it extravagant or spacious.
However.
The stone palace was currently in a state of disarray, with various experimental equipment scattered everywhere, including the back rooms that had been transformed into laboratories.
Several cages containing captured Adjuchas-class Hollows could be seen within the palace, along with experiments using Hollows set up on the tables.
"..."
Feng Ye's gaze swept across the palace as he turned to Lilys by his side and said, "It's gotten a little too messy. Maybe we should build a new one."
Lilys softly replied, "As you wish, Father."
Whoosh!
Feng Ye calmly waved his hand, and a surge of energy rippled out in all directions, causing the entire stone palace to begin shaking violently.
Neru and the others, who had followed Feng Ye inside, involuntarily looked up. They saw stones shaking loose and dust and debris falling from above, only to turn into spirit particles in the air.
The various experimental tables and equipment in the palace crumbled and shattered one by one, dissipating into spirit particles until the entire stone palace completely vanished without a trace.
Soon, all that was left in the world was a stretch of grass and the azure sky.
Feng Ye took two steps back, and Neru and the others followed suit, creating a clear space in front of them. Feng Ye then gazed forward, his eyes gleaming with a faint golden light, and raised his arms.
Rumbling!!!
The whole world began to tremble.
The ground cracked, fissures spreading across it, and the spirit particles in the air violently oscillated, forming visible waves like rolling tides.
In the azure sky above, clouds swirled and churned, breaking apart into pieces.
In just a moment.
To Neru and the others' slightly shocked gazes, they witnessed the land within the Hall of the Hollow King fracture into five sections. Four of the sections were slightly smaller, while the last one was twice as large as the others, and they were standing on this biggest piece of land.
The ground continued to rupture, with large amounts of soil surging upwards and converging together. It solidified into stones, forming blocks that turned into buildings.
Whoosh.
Feng Ye took a step back, retreating into the air, and Neru and the others quickly followed suit. The ground beneath their feet began to roll and shift as buildings rose from the earth.
After a few minutes, everything finally came to a gradual halt, and the world before Neru and the others had undergone a profound transformation.
Behold.
The entire world had now been separated into five distinct layers.
The topmost layer, the largest of them all, was set at a significant distance from the four layers below. It boasted a multitude of structures, resembling a condensed version of the Seireitei, yet exuding an even more majestic and imposing aura than the buildings within the Seireitei.
Below this were four circular layers of land, floating in the air, with no connections between them. These four layers were devoid of any structures, empty and barren.
"Done."
Feng Ye lowered his hand, a hint of satisfaction on his face.
He turned to face Neru and the others, then raised his hand and pointed at them. A white beam of light instantly enveloped the four of them.
Although they didn't know what Feng Ye intended to do, Ulquiorra and the others showed no resistance. They knelt on one knee within the white light, their eyes closed.
Under the enveloping white light, Stark and the others felt subtle changes in their bodies. In addition to possessing the powers of Hollows and Shinigami, they now held a third power that seamlessly integrated with the other two.
If Hollows who broke the boundaries and attained Shinigami powers could become the transcendent Arrancar, then Stark and his companions had now transcended even further, possessing the strengths of Hollows, Shinigami, and Quincy, elevating them to an even higher plane.
If their power previously peaked at the level of the original Espada, they now surpassed that, boasting strength on par with the zero squad! Together, these four could rival the might of the zero squad!
"We shall obey your command, Hollow King!"
Stark, Ulquiorra, Nel, and Halibel spoke in unison, their voices filled with reverence.
As the white light gradually faded, no outward physical changes were apparent, but their spiritual pressures had undergone a distinct transformation.
"Go and choose your dwellings."
Feng Ye casually waved his hand.
Stark and the others nodded and flew towards the four layers of the world below, glancing at each other before Stark headed directly for the lowest layer. Nel and Halibel pondered for a moment before selecting the first and second layers closest to the top layer of the Hollow King's Palace respectively.
Ulquiorra was the last to make his choice, silently and calmly flying towards the remaining third layer.
Feng Ye watched this unfold with a serene expression, then extended his hand and casually grabbed at the empty air. Countless spirit particles swiftly gathered and condensed into humanoid forms before him.
Vrrrr! Feng Ye activated the power of the Godly Eye.
One after another, the spirit particles that had taken human form opened their eyes, imbued with life by Feng Ye, and knelt before him.
Feng Ye continued to manifest his abilities, creating hundreds of spirit servants before finally stopping. He sent two hundred of them to the topmost layer, the Hollow King's Palace.
The remaining nearly two hundred were divided into four groups and dispatched to the dwellings of Stark and the others, with orders to obey their commands.
"My spirit servants aren't very intelligent, but they possess decent learning abilities and room for growth. They will make much better servants than ordinary Hollows."
Feng Ye arrived at Nel's palace on the first layer below the Hollow King's Palace and watched as the spirit servants he had assigned began constructing Nel's palace. He spoke with a relaxed demeanor.
Nel respectfully acknowledged Feng Ye's words.
With the ability to effortlessly reshape worlds and create life, Feng Ye indeed possessed godlike power. Even though Nel was now two levels above a Vasto Lorde, she still couldn't fathom the depths of Feng Ye's strength, and reverence filled her heart.
"There's no need to be so formal."
Feng Ye smiled gently and said, "I'll be staying here for a few days. You can take this opportunity to put Hollow Night Palace in order, and if there's anything you need, feel free to come to me."
With that, he turned and left with Lilys, disappearing into the grandest and most majestic palace at the heart of the topmost layer.
