As soon as I stepped I was greeted by the healthy but I didn’t have the luxury for that so I stopped and started looking around for that person with high luck.

I soon spotted but something else came up,

I walked towards the crowd and stood there while ignoring everybody and then people seemed to have become more rational and had started walking in towards the pod in a single fine line, and then you guessed it, it was our protagonist's turn and when he went in I could see a dazzling light coming out for a second but when I looked around nobody else was surprised, maybe they hadn’t seen it, I thought but that thought was immediately erased, because even though the light had only come in for a second it was very bright. And then the System suddenly answered my question.

“System, open it,” I said with a frown on my face as I had never seen this in an explanation from the system before.

“System why is the penalty none isn’t there supposed to be a penalty.”

{ Host it is because the system doesn't want to control your life, although you will lose your reward you still have a choice }

“Alright well this is easy,” I said while looking for a person with a really low luck rating and that was when one of them caught my eye.

Luck: { 12 }, Trait: { Cautious }

“Hey mate, come over here.”

“Na, I’m good”

He was as slippery as a fish when evading me however this was me we were talking about.

“Please I want to talk to you, my talent is a B rank and I want to make teams with you don’t worry you will get benefits.”

“You ain’t fooling anybody.”

“No, you look like the only trustworthy person around here.”

Feeling proud of himself he said,“ Oh fine, since you trust me so much. ”

I smirked under my mask not showing it on the part of my face that it could still be seen on.

He walked towards his house and walked in arrogantly while crossing his arms and as soon as he did that, I punched him in the face and he didn’t even have the time to react as his arms were crossed.

After he died I hid his body while cleaning any excess blood that could be seen with the door open, and nobody saw me as they were all watching the people enter and go out of the pod. After I cleaned all the traces of him off me and the bed I walked out to the back of the building.
Trying my best not to look suspicious I walked to the back of the building and told the system to withdraw my reward.
