Chapter 6: Bloodline Limit?
Konoha Village.
Back Mountains.
Kakashi Hatake, now a Chunin, faced Feng Ye, whose strength was also above that of a Chunin. It was impossible for them to have a sparring match in the small courtyard; they needed more space to truly test each other.
"Are you ready?"
Kakashi stood in an open area, a kunai in each hand, his gaze fixed on Feng Ye as he leaned forward slightly, already in a combat-ready stance.
Feng Ye, standing in place with the chakra knife White Fang in hand, looked calmly at Kakashi and said, "Come."
Swoosh!!
The moment Feng Ye's voice trailed off, Kakashi's figure rushed forward.
The two kunai turned into afterimages, flipping and attacking from both sides. Feng Ye casually swung the chakra knife in his hand, striking up and down to block Kakashi's offense.
Clang!
After blocking a few moves, Feng Ye's eyes flickered, and the chakra knife in his hand suddenly slashed down, breaking through the defense of Kakashi's two kunai and cutting across Kakashi's chest.
Kakashi's figure instantly turned into smoke and disappeared.
Shadow Clone Technique!
"Fire Style! Fireball Jutsu!"
In the next moment, a voice came from behind Feng Ye, accompanied by scorching heat, and a huge fireball attacked Feng Ye's back.
Feng Ye's expression remained unchanged as he stepped on the ground and flew out, avoiding the fireball's direct attack.

And just the next moment, seven or eight shuriken spun out of the fireball, enveloped in flames, completely blocking Feng Ye's retreat.

A bead of sweat appeared on Kakashi's forehead, and a glint flashed in his eyes. This was the first time he had beaten Feng Ye since they started sparring!
However, at this moment, Feng Ye turned his head and gave him a faint smile. "Do you really think so?"

As his voice fell, Feng Ye's body moved backward, deliberately bumping into Kakashi's kunai, and in an instant, his body turned into smoke and disappeared.
Kakashi was left standing in place, stunned, a look of disbelief on his face.

Before Kakashi could react, he heard the wind behind him. He turned and swung his arm to block, but he was still kicked in the arm.
A heavy force knocked Kakashi back, and he stumbled backward for five or six steps before he could steady himself.

Kakashi looked at Feng Ye with a mixture of disbelief.
He clearly hadn't seen Feng Ye use the Shadow Clone Technique during the fight, and how could the technique be used so silently without him noticing?!
"No," Feng Ye shook his head. "That was just an ordinary clone."
Kakashi was taken aback and said incredulously, "Impossible! Clones don't have offensive power. How could it block my Fire Shuriken..."
"When I blocked the Fire Shuriken, it was still the original body."
Feng Ye smiled faintly and said, "It's hard to explain, so it's better to show you."
As he spoke, Feng Ye held the hilt of White Fang in one hand, and with the other hand, he made hand seals at an unbelievably fast speed, like an afterimage, completing the seals for two techniques almost instantly.
Kakashi Hatake was left speechless for a moment.
He knew these basic ninjutsu taught in the Ninja Academy, so it wasn't the techniques themselves that surprised him, but rather, Feng Ye's hand seal speed!

And his speed was even faster than when using both hands! Kakashi had known for a long time that Feng Ye was fast, far faster than him, but this time, Feng Ye's finger speed was absurdly fast—it didn't seem like a normal human ability, it was almost too fast to see!
"What's going on with your fingers... That speed, it's not something a normal person can achieve!" Kakashi exclaimed, his eyes wide.
Feng Ye was not surprised by Kakashi's reaction.

Feng Ye shrugged. "Maybe my motor nerves are just exceptionally well-developed."
Kakashi gave Feng Ye a 'you've got to be kidding me' look. No matter how exceptional one's motor nerves were, it shouldn't be that exaggerated.
"I remember you weren't this fast a long time ago. It seems like you've been getting faster and faster since two years ago..."
Kakashi furrowed his brows as he recalled some of the strange occurrences he had witnessed with Feng Ye in the past. "This situation is clearly abnormal. It's approaching the realm of bloodline limits. If you can get even faster than this..."
Bloodline Limit!
This was a term that all ninjas were familiar with, and there were numerous bloodline limits in the ninja world. The most common ones were the combination of chakra nature transformations, resulting in melt release and scorch release bloodline limits, among others. There were also well-known ones like the Sharingan, Byakugan, and Shikotsumyaku.
While Feng Ye's speed might not seem impressive to a jounin, the unusual nature of his speed, as if he were in some sort of accelerated state, was what set it apart.
The only explanation that came to mind was a bloodline limit.
The Hatake clan had only inherited the Hatake style of swordsmanship throughout the ages and had not exhibited any bloodline limits, but there were many examples of ordinary ninjas awakening bloodline limits in the ninja world.
While Feng Ye's ability might not yet qualify as a bloodline limit, if he could get even faster... then it would undoubtedly be a unique bloodline limit!
"Hmm, it does seem to be the case," Feng Ye mused. The concept of a bloodline limit seemed to fit well with the ethereal clock.
The ninja world had all sorts of bizarre abilities, even including overpowered kinjutsu like Izanagi. So, it wasn't surprising to have a bloodline limit that enhanced one's speed.
Kakashi observed Feng Ye's thoughtful expression and said, "If you also think so, then it's probably correct. However, I don't recall any records or similar impressions of this kind of bloodline limit..."
Feng Ye stroked his chin and said, "If there are no records, then I must be the first one to awaken it. In that case... let's call it the Ghost Bloodline."
"Ghost Release, huh."
Kakashi commented, "That inhuman speed of yours is indeed like a ghost, fitting the image quite well."
Feng Ye silently retorted, "I was actually thinking of 'cruel.'
"However, whether it's a ghost or cruel, it's just a superficial disguise. If we truly consider this ability as a bloodline limit, then it should be called..."
