Chapter 591: Lan Qi's Four Plans
Chapter 591: Lan Qi’s Four Plans
Prime Minister Gordon immediately understood what Lan Qi meant. Lan Qi intended to support him in establishing a puppet government on Earth for the Skrulls.
Of course, Gordon was more than willing to agree. After all, this was the very purpose of his visit!
He quickly put on a flattering smile. "Mr. Lan Qi, our country is more than willing to become a vassal of the Skrulls and do our utmost to assist in the Skrull dominance of Earth!"
Before its dissolution, the United States had cultivated many puppet governments worldwide. Now, taking on the role themselves would be like riding a well-trodden path.
At the same time, Gordon pulled a silver USB drive from his pocket. The drive contained the latest intelligence gathered on China, including detailed skill lists of various Tier 5 military units and other crucial information.
Lan Qi took the silver USB drive, clearly pleased with Gordon’s straightforward cooperation.
He interlaced his fingers and placed them to his lips, saying, "Prime Minister Gordon, I have three questions for you, and I need you to answer truthfully."
"Of course!" Gordon replied without hesitation. "I will tell you everything I know."
"Very well." Lan Qi nodded, opening a black leather file folder on the desk.
As he scanned the contents, he asked, "First question: Before the dissolution, your country had a nuclear arsenal, correct? Do you have the authority to access it now?"
"That would be quite difficult," Gordon replied, clearly troubled. "During the chaotic period of the dissolution, the nuclear arsenal fell into the hands of high-ranking cultivators from the Indian Nation. We have no way of infiltrating it."
"Understood." Lan Qi nodded, his expression unchanged.
He moved on to the next question. "Second question: Which countries on Earth do you think could be potential allies for us?"
"Oh, there are many," Gordon said, thinking for a moment. "In our continent, there’s the Southern Federation of the United States, Maple Leaf Nation, and Mexico. In the European continent, there’s the United Kingdom and France."
Gordon rattled off a long list of countries, many of which were regional powers.
"Alright." Lan Qi looked up at Gordon. "Final question: How many of those suicide commandos who attacked Yunlu Mountain are left in your family?"
"About fifty."
"Fifty. That will do." Lan Qi closed the file folder, stood up, and walked over to Gordon, extending his hand. "My three questions are done. I hope we can work together smoothly!"
"Smoothly!" Although unsure of the Skrulls' true intentions, Gordon shook hands with him.
Lan Qi turned to his deputy. "Jenifer, please escort our reliable ally back to Earth. Ensure his safe return."
"Understood." Jenifer bowed slightly, gesturing for Gordon to follow.
With the Skrulls dismissing him, Gordon didn’t feel it appropriate to linger.
He bid farewell to Lan Qi and left the office with Jenifer.
After Gordon’s departure, Lan Qi returned to his seat. He instructed the AI to copy the contents of the USB drive and send them to the intelligence department for translation. Then, he poured himself a glass of Reko bug juice and sipped it slowly.
"Strange, why don’t Earthlings like this delicious bug juice?" he mused to himself.
But Lan Qi soon shrugged it off. "It doesn’t matter. According to the analysis, most regions on Earth are suitable for Reko bug farming. Once I establish breeding facilities on their planet, they won’t have a choice but to drink it!"
About ten minutes later, the intelligence department had translated all the text from the USB drive and sent it to his communication device.
Lan Qi began to analyze the intelligence, carefully scrutinizing every detail.
Once he was satisfied with his analysis, he contacted Jeanne using his communicator. "You're already preparing to head to Earth, right?"
A few seconds later, Jeanne replied, "That's correct. My ship is currently recharging, and it will be ready to depart for Earth in no more than half an hour."
Lan Qi: "Alright. Is this human, Gordon, trustworthy?"
He had some reservations about Gordon being a spy sent by the Earthlings to gather intelligence, although the likelihood was very low. Better safe than sorry.
Jeanne: "He's trustworthy. Over the past few hours, I've thoroughly examined all his memories. There's no way he's a spy."
Lan Qi: "Good to know."
Lan Qi: "Here’s the plan for the next phase of our operation."
Lan Qi: "After reviewing Gordon's intelligence, I've formulated four plans."
Lan Qi: "First, we will attack the five camps located in Yunlu Mountain, aiming to destroy at least one or two of them."
Lan Qi: "Second, we will have Gordon contact the governments of Earth and the surrender factions to establish puppet armies."
Lan Qi: "Third, we will assault and occupy the nuclear arsenal in the United States."
Lan Qi: "Fourth, we will destroy all game helmets within our territory and eliminate all players above level 30."
Lan Qi: "These are the plans I've come up with so far. We need to act quickly on all four!"
Lan Qi: "We must implement most of these plans within this short window of time. What do you think, Jeanne?"
Jeanne: "I think..."
Jeanne: "I believe the first and third plans can be combined. If we help Gordon's government occupy the nuclear arsenal, we can launch all the nuclear missiles at Yunlu Mountain. This might destroy all five camps!"
Lan Qi: "Good idea."
Lan Qi: "I'll report these plans to His Majesty the Emperor. Jeanne, Gordon is crucial for the next phase. Keep a close eye on him!"
Jeanne: "Understood."
After ending the call, Jeanne's private spacecraft took off, carrying Prime Minister Gordon back to Earth.
Gordon, now rejuvenated, walked around the cabin, marveling at his newfound vigor and feeling incredibly excited.
Jeanne paid him no mind, instead staring out the window, deep in thought about how to execute the plans Lan Qi had outlined.
The Skrull army couldn't leave the psychic spring, but they could arm the Earthlings with some of their weapons and have them attack the nuclear arsenal.
However, as Lan Qi had emphasized, they needed to act quickly.
With Earth's high-level cultivators unable to intervene, this was the perfect opportunity. If Su Yu or any other cultivators caught on, their plans would be in jeopardy.
As Jeanne pondered, the spacecraft passed through a spatial rift and arrived at the military base on Mount Elbert, the highest peak in the Rocky Mountains.
Seemingly sensing Jeanne and company's arrival, the base commander, Monk, was already waiting on the landing pad.
Gordon and Jeanne descended from the ship together.
Seeing Gordon's rejuvenated appearance, Monk was initially taken aback but quickly understood what had happened.
However, Monk wasn't particularly interested in Gordon, given that he was male.
Monk sidled up to Jeanne, trying to be charming. "Ms. Jeanne, what a beautiful evening! Would you like to spend it with me?"
