Purify is an advanced Fairy-type skill that can cleanse toxins and curses from a target. It's a nightmare for Toxic-type familiars and Ghost familiars that specialize in curse skills.
Many high-level Beastmasters who venture into Hidden Realms hope to rent a Fairy Companion with the Purify skill.
After all, the Hidden Realms they visit are usually classified by the Alliance as high-risk areas.
In such Hidden Realms, the likelihood of encountering Toxic-type and Ghost familiars is much higher.
From what Alva said, it seemed that Poponelle's Purify skill could only reduce the duration of toxins and curses, not eliminate them entirely. It seems that Optimal Rais's divination accuracy is much higher than Optimal Mu's... Qiao Sang thought to herself as she saw Gota and a curly-haired black girl walk up to the stage.

Although both familiars summoned by Gota and the black girl were Intermediate, Gota's familiars were Water-Type and Ice-Type, while the black girl's familiars were Fire-Type and Ground-Type. The black girl's familiars were completely outmatched.
The black girl only lasted a little over two minutes before both of her familiars were defeated by Gota's.
The matches proceeded smoothly.
About forty minutes later, the screen rolled again.
As the school emblems and the names of the next participants appeared, the announcer's voice rang out:

It was actually Omar Ashur... Qiao Sang was a bit surprised.

"This is a Partial Albinism Ghost Ring Specter!"
