The Slash continued expanding, forcing Sanji and Zoro backward. Zoro's three blades caught on the Slash, sparks flying as he slashed downward, his blade carving through the Slash and sending his body crashing to the ground. The moment he landed, he wildly swung his three blades, unleashing a barrage of slashes.
"Sky Walk!"
Sanji kicked off, flying away from the Slash. Mid-air, he kicked again to change direction, charging toward Kuro.
Kuro swung his blade, shattering Zoro's Slash in one strike.
"Moonstep is Moonstep, not Sky Walk", he scoffed, biting his cigar as he slashed toward Sanji.
Sanji anticipated the move, his foot suddenly shifting to stomp on Autumn Water's blade. His other leg ignited with flame, aiming straight for Kuro's neck.
"Neck Meat Crusher!"
Kuro furrowed his brow, leaning back and twisting his blade to slash at Sanji's foot. But Sanji had already leapt, his kick shifting from horizontal to upward.
"Neck Meatshoot!"
"Nami, Robin, did you see that? My heroic pose!" Sanji grinned, his confidence radiating as he imagined their smiles.
Bang!
A powerful fist slammed into his abdomen, nearly making him vomit.
Kuro's body flickered, punching Sanji with explosive force, sending him crashing to the ground like a cannonball.
Kuro shook his hand, coldly muttering, "Why does it always have to be Old Man's face?"
"Kuro!" Lida suddenly shouted.
"Gomu Gomu."
Luffy's massive fist retracted into his arm as his legs pulled in, releasing air as he rocketed toward Kuro. Like a spring, his fist shot forward.
"Ape King Spear!"
Luffy appeared just as Kuro punched Sanji away, no gap between their movements. As Sanji's body left Kuro's sight, Luffy's fist struck.
"Too slow."
Without looking, Kuro slashed downward.
Clang!
Autumn Water met the fist, sending a shockwave of air. Kuro's blade slid along Luffy's arm, sparking as it sliced toward Luffy's chest.
Bang!!!
The force sent Luffy crashing to the ground, cracking the earth before rebounding. The Haki on his chest faded.
Kuro glanced at Luffy, then vanished mid-air.
Luffy instantly leapt away, but Kuro reappeared behind him, Autumn Water raised.
"Observation Haki?"
Kuro stood still, his body gradually fading. A wisp of black light emerged where he'd targeted Luffy.
Bang!!
The blade descended, slamming into Luffy's chest, burying him in the ground.
Kuro approached the crater, smirking, "Not bad reflexes."
Luffy's chest shimmered with Armament Haki, blocking the slash. Autumn Water even bounced slightly from the rubber's elasticity.
"Haki can't suppress the rubber's elasticity. Every attack just bounces off, huh?" Kuro narrowed his eyes. This brat had potential like a steel balloon.
"Giant Serpent Cannon!"
Luffy's fist retracted, then launched forward.
Kuro dodged, but the fist suddenly curved mid-air, aiming for his head. Kuro's Haki-covered left fist met Luffy's.
Boom!
Luffy's fist veered, but instantly changed direction, charging again. Kuro vanished, reappearing beside Luffy.
"If speed's your game, I'll chase you like this!"
Luffy sprang up, his other arm extending. "Gomu Gomu!"
His arms stretched endlessly, pursuing Kuro.
"Demon Wind Leg!"
Sanji attacked from Kuro's side, spinning mid-air for a reverse kick to Kuro's head.
"Three Sword Style!"
Zoro charged from the other side, dual blades stabbing like horns.
Clang!
Boom!
Kuro scowled, unable to dodge. He blocked Zoro with Autumn Water, his other hand deflecting Sanji's kick with Haki.
The force cracked the ground beneath his feet, sending debris flying.
"Playing petty tricks", Kuro muttered, annoyed.
He pushed them back, but suddenly froze, looking down.
Vines had wrapped around his feet.
"Heh!" Usopp grinned nearby. "Not letting you move!"
"Double Giant Serpent Cannon!"
Luffy's fists rocketed toward him.
Bang!!
The Haki-covered fists smashed Kuro's face, lifting his body as his cigar fell.
"Nice!" Sanji gave a thumbs-up. "Way to go, Captain!"
Zoro smirked, "Show us your two-year training, Luffy!"
Lida instinctively stepped back, muttering, "Idiot."
Klah sweated, his hand trembling as he pushed up his glasses, "Such a stupid move."
Usopp winked, "See? Our Captain's super strong! You scared your Vice Admiral will fail? It's too late now!"
Lida shook his head, pitying Luffy in the sky, "Kuro only wanted to teach you a lesson, but now—"
Kuro stood motionless, face upturned, expression hidden.
Crack!
Luffy retracted his fist, springing forward, "I'm sailing out! I'm gonna be the Pirate King! You can't stop me here!"
"Gomu Gomu, Ape King—"
Whoosh!!!
A golden-sparked black slash struck Luffy's chest as he charged. Blood erupted from his chest, a deep gash splitting his cross-shaped scar.
"Luffy!!" the crew screamed.
Luffy's eyes rolled back, his Gear Fourth body releasing gas as he reverted, collapsing trembling.
Kuro stared emotionlessly, Autumn Water crackling with electric sparks.
"What kind of king were you trying to become? Little brat."
