Chapter 555: Su Yu's Six Plans
Chapter 555: Su Yu's Six Plans
As the morning star searched, Su Yu closed his eyes and tried to sense his avatar on Blue Star, testing if he could establish contact.
After a few moments, he realized that he had completely lost communication with his avatar. He could only sense that the avatar was still alive, but no other information was available. Switching perspectives as freely as he did on Blue Star was impossible.
"At least I gave him some guidance before I left. I hope he can complete the tasks I assigned him on Blue Star," Su Yu thought to himself.
"Found it!" Morning Star extended her phone and placed it in front of his face. "We're here right now."
Su Yu looked at the screen and saw that they were in the southern hemisphere of Skrull, over a vast ocean, far from the northern hemisphere's Renkter Alliance and Solar Empire.
"Morning Star, can you check the nearest city from here?" Su Yu instructed.
"Sure thing," Morning Star's paw swiped across the screen.
After a few seconds, she pointed to a spot 45 degrees northeast. "There's a Skrull city about 400 kilometers in that direction. It's a fairly large one."
"Great, let's go! We'll start with the first plan."
Su Yu concealed his presence and, with Morning Star, flew toward their destination.
This visit to Skrull wasn't a spur-of-the-moment decision. Before coming, Su Yu had meticulously planned six tasks to accomplish:
1. Visit the country of Beck and maintain contact with the "Anti-Alliance Organization."
2. Collect the two items needed for the Time Reversal Task: the Solar Seal and the Renkter Eternal Emblem.
3. Try to contact Chancellor Cao.
4. Inquire about the whereabouts of Senior Zhu Guorui.
5. Since he had taken the Dragon Clan Affinity Potion, attempt to establish contact with the dragon race on Skrull.
6. Purchase materials that can absorb nuclear radiation, as the 2,000 nuclear bombs that exploded on Blue Star caused severe radiation, which needed to be addressed.
He planned to complete these tasks one by one.
Su Yu decided to start with the first task: visiting Beck to meet with the Anti-Alliance Organization's leader, Cindy Doppler, to discuss the war situation and future plans.
So, he and Morning Star flew toward the Skrull city, intending to catch a flight to Beck.
...
An hour and a half later, Su Yu arrived at the city Morning Star had mentioned.
This city was the capital of a southern hemisphere island nation, which relied primarily on marine resources and tourism. Therefore, the capital had an international airport with direct flights to Beck.
Su Yu's necklace contained the Solar Coins and Skrull clothing he had acquired during his previous visit, which saved him a lot of trouble.
However, to be cautious, he didn't directly pretend to be a foreign tourist and buy a ticket at the airport. Instead, he followed his previous method: he controlled a local gang leader, obtained a fake identity, and used this identity to purchase a ticket to Beck.
Everything went smoothly. He obtained a fake identity (that of a wealthy miner) and drove a luxury car toward the airport.
However, when he tried to buy a ticket, he encountered a small issue.
The ticket counter clerk, after checking Su Yu's identification, said apologetically:
"Sorry, Mr. Neuberg.
Currently, the country of Becker is in the midst of a civil war, and all flights to Becker City have been canceled. You might want to keep an eye on the war situation there and consider going at a later time."
What? A civil war in Becker? Su Yu was taken aback.
Just a month ago, everything was fine. How did it come to this?
However, he didn't show his surprise and casually replied, "A war in Becker? I had no idea. I just wanted to go there for a vacation. Hey, how about you recommend another place for me to visit?"
With that, Su Yu pulled out a thick stack of 100-denomination Sunsolar coins and tossed them onto the counter. "Consider this a tip for you."
The ticket clerk frowned in annoyance when Su Yu called her "hey," and she was about to call security to remove this rude thug.
But as soon as she saw the stack of Sunsolar coins, her irritation vanished.
There were at least 100 coins in that stack, enough to cover her salary for several months!
"Sir, please follow me to the VIP room. We can discuss this further."
The ticket clerk collected the coins from the counter, gave Su Yu a flirtatious wink, and swayed her slender waist as she walked away.
An hour later, Su Yu boarded a flight to Santos Federation, a neighboring country of Becker.
During that hour, he had searched online and learned about the causes and course of the civil war in Becker.
The root of the conflict traced back to his own actions.
A little over a month ago, Su Yu left the planet Skrul, but before he did, he killed the Speaker of the Council, Kas, the Deputy Speaker, Gordon, and the Secretary of State, Ray.
Moreover, over a hundred thousand impoverished citizens in the city of Trener died because of him.
Kas, Gordon, and Ray were the most powerful Skruls on the planet, and the lives of over a hundred thousand poor citizens were not to be underestimated.
The moment this happened, it sent shockwaves throughout the entire Skrul world, and the media was flooded with reports about the incident.
Su Yu's actions inflamed the anger of a portion of the Lunkert Alliance population. They decided to unite with the Sunsolar Empire and spare no effort to kill Su Yu, avenging the Speaker, Deputy Speaker, and Secretary of State, and washing away their shame.
With their support, the Sunsolar Emperor launched the "Gravity Funnel" plan, the "Rico Bug" operation, and the "Green Cap Bird" operation (the last of which Su Yu was still unaware of).
However, for the majority of the population in other countries (Lunkert Alliance's population accounted for only about 5% of the planet), they did not share the same outrage. Instead, they felt a twisted sense of joy.
"Let you Lunkerts oppress us, suck our blood, and now you're getting your comeuppance! There are aliens coming to take revenge on you!"
To put it bluntly, this was the true sentiment of most people in other countries.
It was similar to the "9/11" incident on Earth, where most people said they were "sympathetic" but secretly thought it was "deserved."
While reveling in this schadenfreude, more Skruls turned their attention to Earth.
If humans on Earth could carry out one terrorist attack, would they do it again and again?
As Earth's human strength grew, terrorist attacks were inevitable.
This time, over a hundred thousand poor citizens in Lunkert died. What about the next time? Would civilians from other countries suffer the same fate?
Waves of worry spread among the civilians of various countries.
