### Chapter 554: Actually, We Don’t Have Any Plan at All!
"Injecting Will into an Alchemical Item is an extremely specialized alchemical technique. No one can assist you during this process."
"However, your talent is excellent. Experience more, and I believe you will understand!"
Nicolas Flamel looked at Ivan, summarizing his final points.
Hearing this, Ivan fell into deep thought. He gradually began to understand what he was lacking.
Contrary to Nicolas Flamel’s expectations, Ivan was not without experiences.
If it were a year ago, Ivan might have been able to harness the power of hatred to attempt creating a powerful Dark Magic Object.
However, since obtaining the Time-Turner and understanding the entire sequence of events, this intense negative emotion had weakened significantly, with some memories buried deep in his heart.
Ivan didn't want to recall those painful scenes. Relying on them to break through his bottleneck was clearly impossible.
"I understand, Master. I will return to school on time!" Ivan quickly adjusted his emotion.
Although the courses at Hogwarts were no longer providing much help, he still needed to attend them.
Just staying here wouldn’t cause any emotional fluctuations, and attending classes could earn him House Points, which would help accelerate his learning. It wasn’t a bad deal.
Seeing that Ivan had finally come to terms with it, Nicolas Flamel smiled and nodded.
He emphasized this point not only to make Ivan aware of his shortcomings but also to prevent him from focusing solely on his studies and neglecting more important things in his life.
After making his decision, Ivan spent the next few days on his regular studies and experiments. He also took some time to return to Diagon Alley to purchase his school supplies for the year.
Initially, Ivan had wanted to experience the French atmosphere and buy supplies in the Wizarding World of Paris. However, the books he bought were in French and not part of Hogwarts’ curriculum, so he abandoned that idea.
On the last day before the start of the school year, Ivan made a special trip to Knockturn Alley. He transformed into an Owl from a distance to observe the Wizards there, and then privately said goodbye to Asia.
He had been scared by those Imagination Monsters and decided it was best to keep his distance until his Legilimency skills improved enough to read memories at will.
"You finally came back. Why don’t you stay longer? You’ve lost weight and have dark circles under your eyes. Are you not comfortable staying with your new Master?" Asia gently pinched Ivan’s cheek, looking at him with concern, noting the dark circles under his eyes from staying up late.
"No, I’m very comfortable there and have learned a lot", Ivan quickly shook his head and recounted his experiences over the past few days.
From the Alchemical Creatures and Magical Plants he saw upon entering to his later analysis of Alchemy, Ivan described everything in detail, but he deliberately omitted any mention of Dumbledore and the Crescent Pendant.
Would his selective storytelling affect Nicolas Flamel’s seclusion?
Ivan wasn’t worried. Asia already knew he had spent the past two months visiting this Alchemical Master, and to reach this place, one needed the correct coordinates. Therefore, it wouldn’t cause any issues.
The only concern was the spread of certain secret knowledge.
Fortunately, after these days, Ivan discovered that Nicolas Flamel had no reservations about sharing his knowledge. He wasn’t the type of Wizard who kept secrets or held back in teaching.
So, a few days ago, Ivan had already felt out the waters, and only now did he dare to tell Asia about his conversation with Nicolas Flamel.
As Ivan slowly recounted the story, Asia quickly became engrossed, especially when she heard Nicolas Flamel's explanation of the essence of Magic and Alchemy. Her face showed a look of astonishment.
"As the mind imagines, so it becomes", Asia murmured.
"Right, Master told me this is the pinnacle of Magic!" Ivan said.
Asia naturally wouldn't doubt Nicolas Flamel's explanation of Magic, but this idea was so extraordinary that she couldn't help but wonder if any Wizards could truly achieve it.
If one could make anything happen just by thinking of it, wouldn't that be beyond the realm of human capability?
"By the way, you mentioned earlier that Mr. Nicolas Flamel hasn't officially taken you as a disciple yet?" Asia recalled Ivan's words and asked curiously.
"That's correct. Master gave me a test and said he would consider taking me as a disciple once I pass it", Ivan said, shrugging helplessly.
"Is that so? You should work hard. What's the test?" Asia smiled, not particularly worried.
In her view, since Nicolas Flamel was willing to share so much core knowledge with Ivan, it was clear that he intended to take Ivan as a disciple.
"Hmm, it's about repairing a very special Alchemical Item", Ivan vaguely replied, not wanting to mention the Crescent Pendant to avoid getting scolded.
Asia didn't press further, assuming it was something he couldn't disclose. She believed that with Ivan's intelligence, he wouldn't be stumped by a small test.
Ivan quickly changed the subject, inquiring about the recent developments in Knockturn Alley, particularly whether any restless Dark Wizards had caused any trouble.
"The training is going well, and it's starting to take shape. The Auror Squad has grown to ten people", Asia spoke confidently, recounting everything that had happened in Knockturn Alley over the past two months in just a few minutes.
The work on transforming and recycling the protective rings was also progressing steadily, and they expected to replace most of the Ministry of Magic's protective devices within a year.
Ivan nodded, relieved that everything was on track.
Then, Ivan handed over the Alchemy notes he had compiled over the past few days to Asia. The notes contained many techniques for setting up secret passages, which he had painstakingly extracted from Nicolas Flamel.
Unless an Alchemical Master of the same level carefully examined the protective devices, it would be impossible to detect any tampering.
"With this knowledge, we can be more discreet when we implement the plan", Asia said, her eyes lighting up as she flipped through the notes.
The Department of Mysteries at the Ministry of Magic had its share of skilled individuals, and the secret passages they had devised on their own might not be sufficiently hidden, with a risk of being discovered.
Now, there was no need to worry, as there was no Alchemical Master in the Ministry of Magic who could match Nicolas Flamel.
Actually, we don't have any plan at all!
Ivan rolled his eyes, intending to explain, but before he could speak, Asia seemed to remember something and suddenly said,
"Wait here for a moment, I almost forgot to give you something!"
