Chapter 545: Battle
Yet Kai Xiusu seized this fleeting moment of hesitation, pressing the advantage with a relentless pursuit—another short, brutal Dive that brought him behind the Abyssal Dragon.
Swish—
The sound of air tearing open echoed as powerful muscles rippled beneath his flesh. With a clawed hand, he slashed downward through the void, his sharp talons driving deep into the beast’s back.
Kai Xiusu buried both claws into the Abyssal Dragon’s flesh, hanging like a vulture from its spine, tearing savagely at the vulnerable neck.
Dark red scales peeled back. Purple-black blood and chunks of meat sprayed into the sky.
Roar—
Jelrazaks reared his head, roaring in fury. His massive form writhed violently, his body trembling with rage. Deep light flared from within his frame, fierce flames consuming his flesh, and a thunderous, oppressive Aura of Intimidation burst forth—like the roll of distant storms.
He unleashed Karex’s Divine Power!
—That was the last remnant of Karex’s strength, a power Jelrazaks had intended to reserve for the gods. But now, forced into this desperate confrontation, he had no choice but to draw upon his secret weapon.
Jelrazaks gasped, his throat emitting a spine-chilling, guttural shriek.
“Kai Xiusu! Do you think you’ve won? You’re celebrating too soon! This… is true strength!”
Profane Chapter!
Jelrazaks’ roar shattered the very air, layered and overwhelming—like the collective wail of millions of lost spirits. The sound shook the world, made souls tremble, and sent spiritual echoes shuddering through reality.
Fire, infused with the essence of resurrected Divine Power, burned fiercely across the Abyssal Dragon’s severed limb and open wounds, accelerating his regeneration to terrifying speed.
In just a few breaths, the severed limb had fully regrown. The deep wounds along his neck healed with unnatural swiftness.
Whoosh—
A gale of Destructive Divine Power lashed against the Red Dragon’s back, a hurricane of annihilation meant to reduce the hundred-meter-long body to dust.
Any ordinary mortal would have been obliterated on contact—reduced to nothing, not even a fragment.
But Kai Xiusu stood within the Empire Domain, a realm under the Red Dragon’s dominion. Here, in this land he had shaped with his own will, he was no mere dragon—he was a god incarnate.
Around him, the invisible force of Order wrapped tightly like a shield, repelling the destructive gale with effortless strength.
Kai Xiusu pulled his claws free from the Abyssal Dragon’s flesh, then spread his wings wide, hovering above the beast.
“True strength?” He sneered, his lips curling into a grotesque grin. Silver light, like stars in a pale golden void, flickered in his eyes. “Heh… On this stage I’ve poured my soul into crafting, I am the very Avatar of strength.”
A wave of overwhelming, world-shattering Intimidation surged from him—power so absolute it felt like a divine edict descending from the heavens.
Imperial Domain: Sealing
Instantly, the gale ceased. All sound vanished. Even the most fundamental elemental particles stilled. Karex’s Divine Power dissolved into nothingness.
The world around him fell into absolute silence. The Abyssal Dragon’s furious blasphemy was snuffed out in an instant.
Swish—
Swish—
Kai Xiusu swept repeatedly over the beast’s body, tearing away massive chunks of scaled flesh from the clumsy, unwieldy form.
Normally, this body—imbued with Divine Essence—was near-immortal. Even Kai Xiusu would have struggled to breach it.
But now, with the Empire Domain sealing the Divine Power, Karex’s remnant form was nothing more than an ancient, lifeless relic.
Roar—
A crimson streak cut across the sky, and the Abyssal Dragon screamed again as Kai Xiusu tore a vast swath from its wing membrane, leaving a sixty-meter-long gash.
Roar!
The Abyssal Dragon howled in agony, turning its head wildly, snapping at the air—but the Red Dragon hovered effortlessly above, dodging with grace.
Finally, Kai Xiusu came to a stop, suspended above the beast, looking down upon the 300-meter-long, scarred and broken Abyssal Dragon.
His own body, though scarred, was coated in filth—blood and broken scales. But these were not his. They were the Abyssal Dragon’s.
Kai Xiusu took a deep breath, savoring the scent of blood in the air. A flicker of satisfaction gleamed in his eyes.
“Jelrazaks… I’ve tasted the sweetness of revenge. Do you know… I’ve waited for this moment far too long.”
Jelrazaks’ pupils contracted violently. He stared up at the Red Dragon—now encircled by the Law Force, radiant as a god descending from the heavens—and whispered over and over.
“No… This can’t be… It’s impossible…”
For millennia, this Revenant Demon had known absolute control. He always found a “Fortunate One” in the Material Plane—vessels to feed his grand design. Even the rare rebels were blinded by greed, forced into becoming mere extensions of the Abyss.
But now… this Red Dragon—born only decades ago—had broken free. Not only that, but he had driven Jelrazaks to the brink of destruction.
Jelrazaks roared upward, his voice a storm of fury.
“Impossible! Kai Xiusu! You’re nothing but a贱born Red Dragon, born just a few decades ago! Everything you have—your power, your fate—was ordained by me centuries ago! You were meant to be my tool!”
Finally, under the relentless pressure, Jelrazaks tore off the mask of deception.
The Deep Abyss Demon’s true nature—madness, chaos, and pure annihilation—spilled forth in an uncontainable torrent.
The Abyssal Dragon’s head thrashed wildly. Its maw, decayed and bloodied, opened wide, uttering insane, babbling whispers.
“Yes… Just eat you… Consume you… Then everything ends… Everything stays under my control… My Abyss’s plan will never fail…”
The last vestige of false humanity had been erased. Only the raw, unfiltered Will of the Abyss remained.
At this moment, he was no longer a dragon—he was the Avatar of the Abyss itself.
The sound rose higher, sharper, more agonizing—until it became a mind-shattering, chaotic roar.
“I WILL—DEVOUR YOU!”
The Abyssal Dragon flailed its wings wildly, ignoring its wounds, lifting its 300-meter-long body with sheer, mindless force, and charging straight at the Red Dragon in the sky.
It staggered like a beast without reason—no thought, no strategy, only blind hunger.
But in Kai Xiusu’s eyes—eyes that saw through all illusions, through the very essence of things—the Abyssal Dragon had become a living storm of Chaos Black Mist, a fusion of body and spirit. Its soul was a regiment of warped, stitched-together abominations, twisted beyond recognition.
Kai Xiusu hovered in midair, calm.
“This… is the true essence of the Deep Abyss Demon? Well, good. Saves me the trouble.”
He spoke softly.
“Let this all end here, Jelrazaks. I shall grant you a grand conclusion.”
With a mighty surge, the Red Dragon flared its wings—ripping open space itself—and shot upward, piercing the heavens to a height of tens of thousands of meters.
Kai Xiusu looked down upon the charging Abyssal Dragon, stretching his neck, tightening his limbs, spreading his vast wings wide. Brilliant flames erupted from the porous organs at his elbows and tail.
With a final, deafening roar—like a crimson comet tearing through the sky—the Red Dragon launched into a dive, a blazing spear of vengeance aimed at the Abyssal Dragon.
Roar—
