Chapter 538: Departed, Arrest Them
Chapter 538: Departed, Arrest Them
Ten-something days later.
In a remote corner of an island near Shabondy, a ship docked.
A blond Curly Brow man in a black dress uniform stepped off the vessel with a nonchalant air, setting foot on land. He tilted his head back, a cigarette dangling from his lips, and gazed ahead. "Feels nostalgic... I've finally arrived at Shabondy."
His expression seemed to drift into memories, like a wanderer returning home.
"Ohhh!!!"
But his moment didn't last long.
His eyes morphed into hearts as he stared at the women in the nearby town. "Women! Real women!!!"
His eyes glistened. "The women I've longed for day and night! Real women!!!"
He dashed forward. "Here I come, my dear ladies! I'm finally here!!"
"Sanji~"
A raspy, syrupy voice called from behind.
Another blond man, wearing makeup and a flamboyant dress, blew a kiss at Sanji. "Time to part ways, darling. I'll miss you terribly, but we'll meet again!"
Sanji shuddered. "I'd rather not see you again!"
He spun around, shouting, "I'm off! Thanks for the ride, tell Iwan I said hi, and goodbye forever!"
As he sprinted away, he roared, "Man Sanji returns from hell!"
"Yaa!!"
A lovesick man with heart-shaped eyes charged forward, sending women scattering.
Unfazed, Sanji strutted down the street, ogling every woman.
"This one's nice!"
"That one's good too!"
"Wow, her skin's flawless!"
"Miss Sister's not bad!"
"A white-haired cutie! Too bad I prefer mature women over young girls!"
His tongue curled into a heart shape as he drooled over his self-appointed mission.
"Huh?"
Lida, wearing blue overalls and licking an ice cream, glanced at Sanji nearby. "Pervert? Kuro, this island's full of weirdos since you've been cooped up for ages."
Beside her, a man in a fur-trimmed black coat, collar wide open, bit a cigar while paying the ice cream vendor. Hearing Lida, he turned his head. "Everything's my fault? You lot can't even guard an island properly. What use are you?"
He looked toward Sanji's direction, but the blond had vanished.
"Where'd he go?"
"Gone. Probably some lunatic." Lida shrugged.
"Forget it. Give me one too."
Kuro turned back to the vendor.
Eventually, Lida dragged him out here.
Near a large tree not far away, Sanji crouched behind the trunk, his eyes back to normal.
He took a drag of his cigarette, musing, "Not the time to chase ladies... Those two..."
Stubbing out the cigarette, he strode toward 13GR.
At the tavern, Sanji pushed open the door. Before he could look around, a familiar voice hit him.
Zoro turned, eyeing Sanji. "Long time no see. You look hornier than ever, ero-cook."
"Tch. You, moss-head."
Sanji scowled, then greeted Silvers Rayleigh and Shaki. "Long time, Silvers Rayleigh. Shaki. Where's everyone else?"
Silvers Rayleigh lounged on the sofa, smiling. "Indeed, long time."
Shaki, cigarette in mouth, chuckled. "Almost everyone's here."
"Zoro came first, over ten days ago. Franky ten days after. Nami a few days ago. Usopp fourth. Chopper yesterday. Now you're here. Only Robin and Luffy left. Gathering so many here on Shabondy? You might reunite completely, huh old man?"
Silvers Rayleigh laughed. "Haven't seen Luffy in six months, but he'll come. I believe so."
After the Wald Incident six months ago, Luffy defeated Wald's three subordinates, rescued Boa Hancock's sisters, then vanished.
His training reached its peak. Now it's up to Luffy alone.
"Eh? You're first?"
Sanji stared at Zoro.
"Hmph. Strange I'm first?"
Zoro snorted, turning to Silvers Rayleigh. "Why can't I go out? I wanted fishing."
"Too obvious. Others gather intel. They'll return soon." Silvers Rayleigh smiled.
"Exactly." Sanji sneered. "You'd just get lost. Wait, Nami-san's here? Nami-san!!"
Zoro's brow twitched. "You, rank seven, bossing me, rank one?"
"Who decided ranks by arrival?!" Sanji roared.
"About that intel..."
Silvers Rayleigh started, but a booming voice interrupted.
"Let me explain! Super~!"
With a mechanical whir, a tall cyborg entered, arms clanking together.
"Super~Franky!"
"Franky!" Sanji's eyes widened.
"Long time, Sanji." Franky waved.
Behind him, a gentle voice chimed. "Long time, both of you."
A pale woman stepped out, greeting Zoro and Sanji.
"Robin-san!!"
Sanji's eyes turned hearts again, nosebleed flowing.
Two years later, her hair grew longer, swept back with sunglasses on her forehead, wearing a dark bright blue vest and pink-orange floral long dress.
"Met on the way. Came together! Super~Franky!" Franky grinned, flashing his signature pose.
"Robin! Franky!"
A voice called. An orange-haired woman in a bikini waved, running with a long-nosed man and a raccoon dog.
"Ah, Nami." Robin smiled. "Usopp, Chopper. Long time."
The Straw Hat crew, minus their captain, reunited.
Meanwhile, at Shabondy Navy Base, a Transponder Snail rang.
"Understood! Mobilizing now!"
A Marine shouted into the snail as others rushed out, guns in hand.
"Luffy's crew appeared at 46GR, recruiting members! Stop them from sailing!"
"Encircle from 40, 42, 44GR! Capture them!"
"Wait, I'm coming too."
A massive figure approached.
"Admiral Sengoku!"
The Marine turned, shocked. "Deploy Pacifista?"
Sengoku, cloak billowing, axe slung over his shoulder, strode forward. "Don't underestimate them. They were trouble two years ago. Stronger now. If not for Kurobig brother guarding the exit, we'd have known they'd gather again."
"They're not like these petty pirates. Kurobig brother may ignore them, but we won't let this slide. Departed! Arrest them!"
