Chapter 532: His Power Is Simply Unimaginable!
### Chapter 532: His Power Is Simply Unimaginable!
Listening to Old Rosier's words, Abbott couldn't help but sneer. "Your appearance is truly revolting! Come to help us? You mean to help us go to hell, right?"
"Rochelle, you despicable traitor!" Fury struggled with great agitation, his eyes bloodshot. If his hands and feet weren't bound, he would have rushed forward to tear Old Rosier apart.
"I must have been blind back then, to trust you so much", Parkinson also said with intense hatred.
In the small Storage Room, various curses soon filled the air, growing more and more vile. Old Rosier, however, merely smiled, showing no reaction, as if the person being scolded wasn't him.
When these people finally grew tired and the curses gradually subsided, Old Rosier finally put on a pained expression and sighed.
"Sigh, you all have misunderstood me! We are old friends who have known each other for decades. I truly want to help you!"
"In order to save your lives, I have been tirelessly begging Lord Hals to spare you for the past three days. I never expected you to see me this way!" Old Rosier shook his head with a sigh.
Abbott and the others had been locked up here for three days, with no one coming to see them. They had almost given up hope of surviving. Now, hearing Old Rosier's words, they couldn't help but feel a bit agitated.
However, the person bringing them this news was the one they considered a traitor, which made it hard for Abbott and the others to feel any joy.
Especially when this traitor appeared in the guise of a savior, it made them even more uncomfortable.
If not for this bastard's betrayal, they might have been defeated but wouldn't have been captured. Now, he wanted them to be grateful for his efforts in pleading for their mercy?
What a joke!
Abbott and the others, knowing their lives were still in his hands, didn't say anything but just stared at Old Rosier with cold smiles. But Fiona Parkinson couldn't stand it. The short and plump Witch quickly sneered.
"Don't put on such a hypocritical act, Rochelle! If you had any sense of loyalty, you wouldn't have betrayed us. Now you come here to recruit us, just to curry favor with your little master!"
"Frankly, I never thought you would betray us just to join a fourteen-year-old brat. Do you plan to play house with him?" Fury also sneered.
Old Rosier's face immediately darkened, and he glared at the two of them, coldly saying, "Fiona, Fury, I advise you to think before you speak! The consequences of insulting Lord Hals are not something you can bear."
"Insult? Rochelle, you really are a good dog, so quick to defend your New Master. He's just a brat. So what if I insult him?" Fury said with venom.
Before he could finish, Old Rosier pulled out his wand and pointed it at Fury, casting the spell without hesitation.
"Cruciatus Curse! (Crucio)"
"Ah! Ah! Ah!"
The searing pain cut off Fury's words. He fell to the ground in agony, thrashing and screaming in a high-pitched, piercing voice.
"Rochelle, what are you doing? Stop it! Do you want to kill Fury?" Fiona, Abbott, and the others were completely taken aback by Old Rosier's sudden brutality and panicked.
Old Rosier ignored them, maintaining the Magic for thirty seconds until Fury was nearly unconscious from the pain. Then he stopped and turned to the two werewolves behind him, apologizing.
"I apologize, gentlemen. My friend was out of line and insulted Lord Hals, but I have already punished him."
"We will report everything that happened here!" the Werewolf Wizard said coldly.
Old Rosier helplessly shrugged his shoulders, hoping Ivan wouldn't take this too seriously, or else Fury would be in for a rough time.
When he looked at Abbott and the others, Old Rosier's previous friendly demeanor vanished, and he spoke with disdain.
"You seem to have forgotten who you are. The only reason you're still alive is because of Lord Hals' mercy! I advise you not to think too highly of yourselves."
Fury, who had been tortured with the Cruciatus Curse, lay curled up on the ground, unable to recover for a long time. The other Pureblood Wizards remained silent, fearing they might suffer the same fate.
More importantly, they weren't fools. From Old Rosier's plea to the guards on Fury's behalf, they could sense something. The Cruciatus Curse might not have been a punishment but a form of protection.
This realization sent a chill through Abbott and the others.
"Rochelle, what kind of person is that young witches and wizards, I mean, Lord Hals? If you want us to surrender, you should at least give us some idea", Fiona Parkinson suddenly asked.
"How should I put it?" Old Rosier furrowed his brow, hesitated, and then sighed. "Unfathomably deep and inscrutable!"
"Unfathomable?" Abbott looked at Rochelle in surprise, finding it hard to believe he would make such an assessment of a young witches and wizards.
"Yes, unfathomable!" Old Rosier said with certainty. "But I will tell you what I know, and you can judge for yourselves!"
"Five days ago, after our Wizards sent to capture Walker went missing, Dawgert suddenly approached me, trying to persuade me to join them. That's when I realized Asia was just a decoy, and our true opponent was someone else!"
Old Rosier slowly recounted his first meeting with Ivan, including the tests he conducted to gauge Ivan's strength, without any concealment.
Old Rosier knew he had to make these people understand what he was up against so they would set aside their pride as Pureblood Wizards and face reality.
So, during his narration, he even "slightly" exaggerated the events to make it clear that he wasn't being cowardly but was genuinely in awe of the other's power!
When Old Rosier mentioned Ivan using Sectumsempra to slice everything in his line of sight, including a dozen trees, an abandoned Manor, and hundreds of Galleons, Abbott couldn't help but ask.
"Is that Magic really as powerful as you say?"
That seems too exaggerated!
Fiona Parkinson and the others were also skeptical.
Old Rosier nodded with a sigh, confirming.
"Yes! I saw Lord Hals cut an abandoned old house neatly in half, and it was definitely the most powerful Magic I've ever seen!"
