The enhancement of Flame Ships is quite rapid; with the right resources, they can be quickly upgraded. However, the cultivation of guiding techniques is a different matter, especially after level 30. The cultivation speed becomes incredibly slow, and it often takes several decades or even a century to advance a single level.
Thus, even a veteran cruiser captain like Zhu YaoKui, who has been at the Third-Rank for nearly three hundred years, has only reached level 37 in his guiding technique.

Due to this unique restriction, Flame Captains generally do not allow outsiders to enter their ships, especially high-rank captains.
