Chapter 513: The Supreme Daoist Leader, Preceptor Lei Zhongyun (Part 3)
Chapter 513: The Supreme Daoist Leader, Preceptor Lei Zhongyun (Part 3)
Now, with the human world reunited and various branches returning to their roots, figures like Mu Chunyang and Chen Ning had no intention of denying their allegiance. Later, after Lei Jun took charge of the entire Daoist Secret Sect, they would formally receive the decree again.
If one didn't consider the old Imperial Palace affiliates, the Kunwu Sect was the only faction that hadn't received the Celestial Master's decree.
At this moment, Zhang Haipeng spoke sincerely, just as he had said.
It wasn't just because Lei Jun had helped Zhao Chanyang return from the Demon World.
Even without personal ties, the current situation called for unity within the entire Daoist community.
The Kunwu Sect, known for their reclusive nature, would not easily remain uninvolved.
Various signs indicated that the current world was on the brink of significant changes.
The impending crisis might even surpass the dangers of the Han Dynasty's end.
Zhang Haipeng, being older and more advanced in cultivation than Ji Chuan, spoke on behalf of both of them.
Given his personal relationship with Lei Jun, his presence here represented the Shu Mountain School's stance.
The reason he and Zhang Haipeng came together to discuss the matter with Lei Jun was that they had separately received authorization from Bai Mei and Zhao Chanyang to support today's endeavor.
"As cultivators, we follow the will of heaven and move with the flow of fate. If it is the trend of the times, I will act accordingly," Lei Jun said without false modesty, maintaining his composure. "Each sect's internal affairs are their own, and everything remains as before. I only wish for unity and cooperation within our Daoist Secret Sect, to navigate the turbulent sea of changes together."
Zhang Haipeng and Ji Chuan both bowed to Lei Jun: "We are grateful for the Celestial Master's magnanimity and are willing to follow his lead. We wish for unity and cooperation within our Daoist Secret Sect."
After Zhang Haipeng and Ji Chuan bid farewell, Lei Jun turned his attention to the other side.
Bai Mei, who had not appeared earlier, now smiled and bowed to Lei Jun: "I also wish for unity and cooperation within our Daoist Secret Sect."
"Lei Jun returned the greeting with respect, "The True Monarch is too kind."
...
After communicating with Lei Jun in person, Zhang Haipeng, Ji Chuan, and the others visited the ancestral temple of the Dragon and Tiger Mountain Celestial Master Mansion together to specifically discuss related matters.
Upon receiving the news, Shen Xi, Mu Chunyang, and others also headed to Dragon and Tiger Mountain.
Later, the Taoist community released a joint announcement.
Shen Xi, Mu Chunyang, Zhang Haipeng, Jiang Yu, Zhang Taogang, and Nie Fang, a total of six people, took the lead, and the Shu Mountain Sect, Zhenwu Temple, Kunlun Sect, Pure Yang Palace, Profound Mechanism Temple, along with all the branches and sub-sects of the Alchemy and Dan Ding Sects, all Taoist disciples, unanimously acknowledged Xuanxiaozi of Dragon and Tiger Mountain as the current Supreme Daoist Master of the Daoist Secret Sect.
Even later, when the matter was completely settled, the Dragon and Tiger Mountain Celestial Master Mansion widely invited fellow Taoists from all over the world to attend the Lantern Festival at Dragon and Tiger Mountain the following year.
The news spread, shaking the vast human realm and the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths.
In comparison, the reaction of the Tang Imperial Court in the imperial capital of Luoyang was relatively calm.
It wasn't that they didn't care, but rather that they weren't as surprised.
For those who had witnessed the rise of Lei Zhongyun of Dragon and Tiger Mountain, this development wasn't entirely unexpected.
Zhang Huitong, Meng Shaojie, Zhu Junjie, and other friends from the old and new Taoist community were out on a trip when they received the news. Without panic, they sent a message back:
"Prepare the congratulatory gifts, and we'll take the opportunity to attend the ceremony on our way back."
"We've already made the necessary preparations," said Chu Yu, Shangguan Yunbo, Xiao Xueting, Zhang Ying, and Shangguan Qing, the Tang Court officials, who also remained calm.
To be precise, ever since the simultaneous merging of the human realm and the Pure Sky, and the battle against the Boundless, when Lei Jun defeated Gao Tian Sui, and Mu Chunyang had yet to enter seclusion to breakthrough to the Immortal Realm, everyone had a premonition about this.
"We'll continue as we previously discussed," said Chu Yu. "With the human realm just settling down, everything is still unstable. For the time being, our dynasty will focus on recuperation and recovery."
The Tang Court officials nodded in agreement.
Mu Chunyang's decision to delay his seclusion was not only due to the matter of the Supreme Daoist Master but also, in fact, served as a temporary support for the Later Han Dynasty.
This was likely not instigated by Dragon and Tiger Mountain, but at the very least, the Celestial Master Mansion did not oppose it.
From this perspective, although Lei Tian Shi rarely involved himself in human affairs, his consideration for reducing conflicts and allowing the common people to recuperate had never changed.
Given this, the current human realm should prioritize stability.
Although there were objections to the Later Han Dynasty's occupation of the Jiangdong region, the Tang Court officials were not in a hurry to address the issue.
Instead, they were more concerned about another matter.
"Elder Zhuo of Dragon and Tiger Mountain has cultivated to the Great Vehicle Realm of the Ninth Heaven," Shangguan Qing sighed. "He is indeed worthy of being the first disciple of the Celestial Master."
Zhang Ying spoke, "Lei Tian Shi's acceptance of disciples is not as entangled as it was when Qingfeng Tian Shi accepted disciples, making the opportunity to become his personal disciple even more precious. However, it can also be said that he is more casual."
Shangguan Yunbo rarely spoke up, "I heard a rumor that Daoist Master Hua Ting is likely to be Lei Tian Shi's last disciple."
Chu Yu smiled, "Unless something major happens, that should be the case."
Shangguan Yunbo asked, "One becomes two, two becomes three, and three becomes myriad... Three, like Elder Yuan?"
Everyone looked at each other, feeling regret in their hearts.
Not only did Lei Tian Shi have very few disciples, but the threshold was also high, making it difficult for others to reach.
However, compared to the previous Tang Tian Shi, this was already much better.
He only had one disciple, and it wasn't even a human...
As for Xu Yuanzhen and Chu Kun, they were even more abhorrent.
Not only the Tang Court officials, but all the dynasties and families, who wouldn't eagerly wish to become disciples of Dragon and Tiger Mountain, and even more so, hope for a new true disciple of the Celestial Master? But now it seems that there's no hope for disciples, perhaps we should consider the disciples of the disciples? Elders Zhuo, Han, and Feng currently have no disciples...
Upon hearing the news, most of the human realm was thrilled.
The Taoist community's dominance was now certain.
After Lei Jun's overwhelming victory over Gao Tian Sui, even if Tang Emperor Zhang Wantong returned, it would be difficult to change this outcome.
In this situation, with Lei Tian Shi's dominance already established, his detached and uninvolved attitude towards human affairs was considered a positive trait by many.
With Lei Jun as the Supreme Daoist Master, leading and influencing the Taoist community, it was naturally better than someone with ambitions of aggressive expansion.
The world is unpredictable, with numerous variables.
Although Lei Tian Shi appeared indifferent, he had compassion for the suffering of the common people.
If he had the opportunity to take another step forward, and in the event of a major change, the people would have an additional layer of hope.
Therefore, upon hearing the news, many sincerely congratulated him.
However, for a small number of people, the news was devastating.
In the human realm, not on land, but in the distant ocean of the East China Sea, on a desolate island, someone heard the news from the mainland and was devastated.
An elderly scholar who appeared to be in his sixties or seventies stood with his hands behind his back on the waves outside the island, silently gazing towards the distant inland.
His facial features remained clear and handsome, but if an acquaintance were to see him, they would have a hard time recognizing him as the former chief advisor of the Ming Dynasty, Zhou Mingzhe. Compared to the past, he looked much older at this moment.
At first glance, he still had a handsome demeanor, but the entire person was enveloped in a deep aura of twilight.
Zhou Mingzhe's expression was calm, without joy or anger, standing on the waves like a stone statue, gazing into the distance, deep in thought for a long time without speaking.
In the eastern part of the northern border on land, there were still some ethnic minorities active.
In addition to them, there were also the descendants of the Diamond Realm's Karmic Ministry.
With the human realm just settling down, the various major dynasties in the Central Plains were wary of each other, and the situation had not yet completely stabilized, so no one was paying attention to the northeast for the time being.
However, the Diamond Realm's Karmic Ministry and the ethnic minorities on the grasslands also dared not act rashly.
Any significant move might provoke a joint crackdown by all forces in the Central Plains.
This situation wouldn't have occurred if there was proper division and liaison.
But in the human realm, where everyone had their own agenda, there was a silent yet formidable giant that couldn't be ignored.
This massive group had taken new action.
They still rarely interfered in human affairs, but there had been significant changes within recently.
The Supreme Daoist Master, who had been absent for thousands of years, was about to reappear.
As for the candidate, there was no dispute.
As soon as the Karmic Ministry's leader, Jiezhi Luo, and the others heard the news, they knew who it would be without needing to ask for the name.
Between them, the relationship was deeply entangled.
This development was a significant turn of events.
The current gap between the two sides could no longer be measured by ordinary means.
"Is there still no news of the Emperor of the Nether returning from the Time Abyss in the Netherworld?" Jiezhi Luo asked without turning around, gazing towards the south.
The Buddhist master from the Western Regions behind him replied, "There is still no news at the moment."
Jiezhi Luo nodded slightly and said no more.
Even with powerful spiritual cultivation and unwavering determination, Jiezhi Luo couldn't help but feel a chill in his heart at this moment.
For them, this was truly the end of the Dharma Age.
At the same time, it was difficult to see any hope.
But if not the Netherworld, where else could they turn to?
Even if they wanted to surrender, the Dragon and Tiger Mountain Celestial Master Mansion, hanging high in the sky, would likely not accept them.
Even if the Old Imperial Palace affiliates hadn't lost the crucial battle, and even if Gao Tian Sui didn't mind the differences between the Dao and the Buddha, it was still no easy task for Jataro and his group to cross the mental barrier.
The severe blow dealt to the Old Imperial Palace affiliates made it even more difficult for them to hold on to any hope.
So, what should they do next... Jataro was speechless.
…………………………
In contrast to Jataro in the north, someone in the south looked northward.
Ruan Qiao, dressed in a green robe, gazed calmly towards the northeast where Pure Sky was located, then shifted her gaze to the Ling Mountain, which was relatively closer to the north.
Her gaze seemed to pass through Ling Mountain and towards the Dragon and Tiger Mountain Ancestral Court.
Standing behind Ruan Qiao was a middle-aged man, Peng Yushan, a Great Shaman who had gone into hiding after the fall of Ling Mountain.
Now, following the fall of Ling Mountain, Pure Sky had also been lost.
However, with the convergence of the human and immortal realms, powerful cultivators from the immortal realm could reside in the human world.
This made it easy for Ruan Qiao to find Peng Yushan.
Currently, aside from Gao Tian Sui's secluded cultivation and recovery, Wang Dianchen, who was even more severely injured, was also in seclusion. Only Ruan Qiao was left to handle external affairs.
The recent actions of the Daoist Secret Sect were widely publicized throughout the world, without any reservations.
As time passed, the news continued to spread, even reaching the barren lands south of the Time Abyss and Ling Mountain. The message that Heavenly Master Lei Jun was about to become the Supreme Daoist Master of the Secret Sect was circulating.
Upon hearing the news, Ruan Qiao did not feel any resentment.
What she was actually feeling at this moment was... something that even Gao Tian Sui hadn't been able to achieve in the past.
Although Gao Tian Sui himself was more concerned about reestablishing the Imperial Palace, even at the peak of his personal reputation, he had never reached the height that Lei Jun had now.
Even as the first person in the Vast Universe, he hadn't achieved this.
Perhaps Gao Tian Jun himself didn't mind, but now, a young man with only the second level of the Grotto Profound cultivation had successfully united the entire Daoist Secret Sect.
This meant that Bai Mei and Zhao Chanyang, at the very least, had a tacit approval of the situation.
Ruan Qiao couldn't help but think that it was the previous battle with Gao Tian Sui that had firmly established Lei Jun's current dominance and elevated his reputation to its current peak.
Nothing could be more sigh-worthy than this.
…………………………
After the news was announced to the world and invitations were sent out to fellow Daoists, the Dragon and Tiger Mountain immediately began bustling with preparations for the grand ceremony.
After the New Year, the number of guests on Dragon and Tiger Mountain gradually increased.
Chu Kun, who had returned to the human realm, accompanied Han Xiaofei, Cheng Rongrong, Feng Ting, and others, welcoming and seeing off guests.
The guests of honor included representatives from various sects.
From the Confucian side, Zhang Hui, Zhu Junjie, Meng Shaojie, and Xiao Chunhui arrived together. Chu Yu, Fang Yue, Xiao Xueting, and Xiao Hang also represented the Tang Imperial Court.
The three siblings of the Xiao family met and chatted, eventually turning to the topic of their father, which left them with no choice but to look at each other in mutual understanding.
From the Shamanic side, Huangfu Qi, upon receiving the news, personally led a group of Great Shamans from Ling Mountain to the Dragon and Tiger Mountain Ancestral Court to offer their congratulations.
The situation in Daju had now stabilized, so Huangfu Qi's departure was not an issue.
As for the Guicang area, Phoenix Feng Ming was still stationed there, but he had asked his fellow clansman Luan Niao Zhuyin to come and offer congratulations on his behalf.
In addition to Huangfu Qi, Qiao Yang, Lei Lei, and other Great Shamans from Ling Mountain, the Sky Mulberry Shamanic Sect's Dadu Sect Master Ke Lang also personally led a team to attend.
The Tang Dynasty Shamanic Sect's Li Tianqing, Sun Li, Xing Feng, and Hu Hengyuan were also present.
Even the people of the Nine Li of the Earth Sea had sent Li Jin to attend discreetly.
Sun Li acted as a liaison, moving around and connecting with everyone.
He had previously been entrusted with the task of contacting and gathering representatives from various Shamanic sects.
After a period of communication, the Shamanic sects were more active than before, and in this situation, they entered and exited together.
The Imperial Court had no concerns about being ambushed during this time.
Thus, the Han Emperor Xiang Sheng, the Post-Han King Zhou Pu, and other imperial rulers of the empire almost emptied their nests to come to the Dragon and Tiger Mountain to offer their congratulations.
The Dragon and Tiger Mountain had made special arrangements to prevent them from encountering each other.
However, as the Lantern Festival approached and the grand ceremony was about to begin, the guests of honor would still come face to face.
Although they were all at a distance from each other, it was inevitable that their gazes would intersect.
Then, Emperor Xiang Sheng discovered an awkward situation.
He and Zhou Pu stared at each other, and in this confrontation, he clearly couldn't match the other's gaze.
Xiang Sheng had heard that Zhou Pu had a Martial Immortal Eye.
But at this moment, he was certain that even without that Martial Immortal Eye, without the support of the Heavenly Emperor's Imperial Art, he couldn't match Zhou Pu.
Even so, Xiang Sheng still didn't avert his gaze.
Until someone appeared between them, separating the confrontation of the two Martial Saints.
He was a young-looking monk.
As soon as he appeared, he captured everyone's attention, even drawing the gaze of the Shaman King Huangfu Qi.
Shen Gubing, who had been curiously observing Zhou Pu and Xiang Sheng, was also taken aback when he saw the monk:
“…Master Faqing? Er, no…”
Master Faqing had a serene demeanor and a dignified appearance. He pressed his palms together and bowed.
In front of him were other monks.
Although this was a grand ceremony of the Daoist sect, representatives from the orthodox Buddhist sect had also come to offer their congratulations.
Elder Miaokong and the others had slightly complicated expressions as they gazed at Master Faqing, who was pressing his palms together.
After a while, Elder Miaokong was the first to press his palms together in return: "May the Buddha's compassion be upon you."
Chu Kun, standing nearby, smiled and took a step forward with Han Xiaofei, leading both sides to their seats.
As the grand ceremony commenced, the Dragon and Tiger Mountain's altar shone with divine light.
In the Three Purities and Three Treasures Heavenly Realm, the Ten Thousand Dharmas Altar also glowed and descended.
The two altars met in mid-air and then descended into the Dragon and Tiger Mountain's specially arranged altar site.
The divine light then constructed another illusory three-tiered altar in the center of the altar site.
The altar was both vast and enormous.
Around the altar site, instead of using the number 49, 81 flagpoles were erected, and lamps were lit, using the number 95.
Top cultivators from various sects, including Jiang Yuzhu, Zhang Haipeng, Mu Chunyang, Shen Xi, Chen Lingfeng, Deng Lei, Yuan Qingci, and Nie Fang, appeared one after another in the altar site, chanting sutras. Countless Daoist patterns and spiritual energies surrounded the four directions, resonating with the light from the Ten Thousand Dharmas Altar and the Dragon and Tiger Mountain's altar.
At this moment, Lei Jun was in the forbidden area of the ancestral mausoleum in the back mountain.
He was tall and wore a nine-colored robe, but he had changed his attire to a yellow brocade robe.
Accompanying Lei Jun in offering sacrifices to the ancestral masters were his master, Yuan Mo Bai, and his first disciple, Zhuo Baojie.
In the past, Yuan Mo Bai had always strictly adhered to the distinction between the sect master and the elders. Only during the sacrifice to the ancestral masters would he take the lead, followed by Lei Jun, Wang Guiyuan, and Chu Kun, the three disciples.
Today, for the first time, Lei Jun was in the center during the sacrifice to the ancestral masters.
Yuan Mo Bai and Zhuo Baojie stood on either side of him.
At this moment, the ancestral masters' tablets trembled slightly, as if they were emitting a faint glow.
Afterward, Yuan Mo Bai did not leave but stayed to continue offering sacrifices quietly.
Lei Jun then led Zhuo Baojie back to the front mountain.
Upon arriving at the ritual site, Zhuo Baojie left his master's side and stood together with Shen Xi, Mu Chunyang, Zhang Haipeng, and others.
Accompanying Zhuo Baojie were many elders and disciples of the Dragon and Tiger Mountain Celestial Master Mansion, including Shangguan Ning, Zhang Jingzhen, Luo Haoran, and Qin Caimei.
Afterward, the group walked into the center of the ritual site, where a massive and illusory three-tiered altar stood.
As they recited Daoist scriptures, the altar of light and shadows grew larger, gradually rising into the air and suspending halfway, with the upper and lower spiritual lights of the Wanfa Zongtan and Longhu Zongtan connected. The enormous three-tiered altar covered the entire main peak of Dragon and Tiger Mountain, appearing boundless and vast.
Yue Xiling, Ji Chuan, Xie Yiying, Yu Yichen, Chen Ning, Shangguan Ning, Qin Caimei, Yu Boyan, and Qin Baisheng, elders and disciples of various sects specializing in talismans, alchemy, and artifact refinement, sat on this level, silently reciting scriptures and offering sacrifices.
Shen Xi, Mu Chunyang, Zhang Haipeng, Jiang Yu, Zhang Taogang, Chen Lingfeng, Deng Lei, Yuan Qingci, Murong Minghui, and Nie Fang, along with Qi Yicheng who successfully emerged from seclusion just before the ceremony, joined Zhuo Baojie, representing the Dragon and Tiger Mountain Celestial Master Mansion, as they ascended from the first-level square altar to the second-level octagonal altar.
The various sect leaders sat down and quietly recited scriptures.
At this moment, two special beings descended upon the ritual site.
One resembled white clouds, and the other, the Milky Way.
The guests in attendance did not create a commotion but instead held their breath, most of them.
The Kunwu Sect's Zhao Zhenjun and the Shu Mountain Sect's White-Eyebrow Patriarch, who rarely appeared in public, had both personally come this time!
They were not merely silently approving the actions of their subordinates today.
Instead, they personally appeared to clearly express their support.
Almost simultaneously, a clear call and a dignified roar sounded together.
In the air, a golden sun-like figure approached.
On the ground, a golden stream of light flowed like a long river, drawing closer.
The two great spirit beings who had fought fiercely in the Cang Huan Great War, Jin Wu Haoyang and Zhenlong Huaming, had arrived together.
Adding to the attendees were Huangfu Qi and Fa Qing Zun, making at least four Immortal Realm experts witnessing this event today.
The Phoenix Fengming, who rarely appeared, was absent due to the limitations of his manifestation technique, but he specifically instructed his clan members to come and offer congratulations.
The powerful beings present gazed at the Milky Way-like sword light and the ethereal white clouds as they flew into the altar of light and shadows, then arrived at the middle second level where Zhuo Baojie, Shen Xi, Mu Chunyang, and Zhang Haipeng were located.
Next, a tall young Daoist appeared at the ritual site, walking with his hands behind his back, his footsteps neither hurried nor slow.
In an instant, the surroundings became completely quiet, with only the nine-five lamps flickering continuously.
Today's visiting guests were not limited to those currently present.
Far away from Dragon and Tiger Mountain.
In the mountains, a black shadow silently formed.
This black shadow took on the form of the Pi Xiu Demon Sage.
Luo Haikou had come to the Celestial Master Mansion to observe the ceremony.
Although Pi Xiu's existence was no longer a secret to some, as a being cultivating in demonic energy and malevolent aura, he did not directly appear today, only gazing from afar at the massive altar covering the entire Dragon and Tiger Mountain gate.
In another direction, there was another group of invited guests who had not proactively revealed themselves.
Huiyin Monk watched as Lei Jun entered the massive three-tiered altar.
Beside him stood two monks, one old and one young, both wearing moon-white robes.
The older one was the former White Lotus Saint Master, Jianhai Monk, of the Great White Lotus Sect.
The younger one was the future Maitreya Sky Tree Monk of the Great White Lotus Sect.
Today, the White Lotus Sect was gradually consolidating.
Regarding the current situation of the Daoist School, Jianhai Monk and Sky Tree Monk had somewhat different observations compared to Huiyin Monk.
But despite their thoughts, witnessing this scene, they suddenly felt a sense of helplessness in their hearts, just like their arch-enemy, Ji Diro.
Huiyin Monk stood calmly beside them, saying little.
At a distance from them, in the mountains outside the main peak of Dragon and Tiger Mountain, another direction.
A young Daoist in a purple robe and yellow garments concealed his figure, also not publicly attending this grand event.
Ji Du, Yue Bo, and Zi Qi had all arrived... Kang Ming calmly looked up at the three-tiered altar in the sky.
The dark shadow originating from the dark side of the Heavenly Book was still in his hands.
But when the human world merged, the dark shadow continued to tremble.
Some mysteries remained unverified.
But there had been speculations.
Today, Kang Ming was not in the mood to verify them.
He focused on his peaceful cultivation and guiding young disciples of the Yellow Heaven Dao, like Xiahou Bo.
However, given the special circumstances today, after some thought, he came alone.
At this moment, Kang Ming looked up at the vast sky, watching Lei Jun ascend alone to the topmost round altar within the three-tiered altar of light and shadows.
In a secluded courtyard within Dragon and Tiger Mountain.
The purple-robed female crown wearing a black-feathered cloak did not go to the ritual site.
Just like when Tang Xiaotang became the Grand Master of the Tang Dynasty, Xu Yuanzhen was present but had no desire to join the others.
She glanced at the three-tiered altar, then withdrew her gaze, picking up a brush to casually doodle on the scroll in front of her.
The thick ink transformed into layer upon layer of dark clouds.
Amidst the oppression, faint thunderbolts seemed to burst forth.
In the topmost round altar in the air, Lei Jun took his seat.
With him were the heirs of various Daoist sects, gathered to jointly offer sacrifices and pay respects to the Three Pure Ones, the ancestors of the Daoist School.
After the sacrifices, Lei Jun alone prayed to heaven and wrote six talismanic decrees.
He affixed the White Celestial Master Seal to each decree.
Then, after Zhuo Baojie took one decree for the Celestial Master Mansion's records, the remaining five decrees were bestowed upon the Shu Mountain Sect, Chunyang Palace, Zhenwu Temple, Kunwu Sect, and Xuanji Temple.
Shen Xi, Jiang Yu, Mu Chunyang, Zhang Haipeng, and Nie Fang immediately returned the decrees to their respective mountain gates, placing them in the central main peak.
The next moment, brilliant light erupted from the four directions of the human realm, soaring into the sky, causing even Kunlun Mountain to tremble.
In the round altar, above Lei Jun's head, numerous streams of light converged, gradually forming a five-colored, ten-light, illusory crane canopy.
Within the octagonal square altar, the Milky Way-like sword light gradually condensed into a white-haired, fair-faced maiden in plain robes, smiling as she offered a Daoist salute to Lei Jun above:
"In response to the Primordial Beginning, may the leader of the teachings enjoy boundless blessings and longevity."
The white clouds seemed to thin out, and a young Daoist in a moon-white robe appeared, also offering a Daoist salute to Lei Jun:
"In response to the Primordial Beginning, may the leader of the teachings enjoy boundless blessings and longevity."
The rest of the Daoist disciples followed the two immortals, bowing to Lei Jun.
Outside Dragon and Tiger Mountain, Kang Ming mirrored their actions.
On the viewing platform, Fa Qing Zun was the first to join his palms and smile:
"May the leader of the Daoist teachings be at ease."
Huangfu Qi, Zhenlong Huaming, and Jin Wu Haoyang also spoke:
"May the leader of the Daoist teachings be at ease."
Zhang Hui, Chu Yu, Meng Shaojie, and Zhou Pu did the same.
Outside the mountain, whether it was the Pi Xiu Demon Sage or the three White Lotus Sect monks, they all looked up at Lei Jun atop the three-tiered altar in the sky, sincerely reciting:
"May the leader of the Daoist teachings be at ease."
