It was only six o'clock in the morning when Da Biao Shun, Zhou Mu's sister-in-law, knocked on the Zhou family's courtyard gate in a hurry and asked anxiously, "Where are Zhou Cheng Lei and Jiang Xia?"
Zhou Mu had been accustomed to waking up early for many years, and even in her old age, she couldn't sleep for long. She was in the kitchen preparing breakfast when she heard the voice, which startled her.
"What are you doing? Why are you making such a fuss so early in the morning?" Zhou Mu whispered, afraid of waking Jiang Xia, "Get out! Why are you here? Don't come to our house again!"
Da Biao Shun was almost driven to madness. She was about to rush upstairs, knowing that Jiang Xia and Zhou Cheng Lei's room was on the second floor. When she first moved in, she had taken a tour: "I have something to discuss with Xia."
The day before yesterday, on Saturday, her daughter hadn't returned home. She had promised to give her some money, but she waited all day to no avail.
Yesterday, she went to the city to look for her daughter. From her roommate, she learned that her daughter had been arrested, but she had no idea what had happened. She went to the factory to find Jiang Mu, but couldn't get in. When she didn't know what to do, a factory worker secretly told her some information. Then, she remembered what her daughter had said before, and she guessed that her daughter had been framed by Jiang Mu as a scapegoat!
Zhou Mu quickly stopped her, "What are you doing? If you continue to cause trouble, I'll call the police! Zhou Cheng Lei had just finished his morning run and was taking a shower in the public bathroom on the second floor. He had just turned off the shower when he heard the arguing.

Zhou Cheng Lei hurriedly put on his pants and vest, his body steaming. As he buttoned up his shirt, his face turned cold, and he stepped out of the bathroom. He glanced at the balcony and indeed saw Da Biao Shun!

Zhou Cheng Lei didn't even spare her a glance as he turned and walked back into the room.
Jiang Xia had indeed been asleep just a moment ago, but the arguing had woken her up.
She got up with some difficulty, and Zhou Cheng Lei pushed the door open, quickly stepping forward to support her. Seeing that Jiang Xia was truly woken up, his expression grew increasingly displeased, his face cold as ice.
Jiang Xia gently pinched his cold, hard face, "Mom and Auntie are fighting?"
"Yeah. Don't worry about her, Mom can handle it." Zhou Cheng Lei responded, his face still grim, his tone cold. However, his movements were careful as he helped Jiang Xia sit up, then crouched down to put on her slippers and assist her in getting out of bed.
Zhou Cheng Lei was strong, and he supported her under her armpits, helping her stand up without much effort.
Jiang Xia released her hands from Zhou Cheng Lei's arms and walked towards the window to look outside.
Their room was spacious, with two windows—one facing the sea and the other facing south, overlooking the courtyard.
"You don't need to worry about me. Go downstairs quickly and make sure Mom is okay." Jiang Xia was afraid that Zhou Mu and Da Biao Shun would get into a fight.
After saying this, Jiang Xia went to the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face.
Zhou Cheng Lei still accompanied Jiang Xia to the bathroom, squeezing toothpaste for her and reminding her, "Don't go downstairs. I'll handle this quickly."
"Okay, I understand. You go downstairs now!" Jiang Xia's belly was so large that she couldn't see her feet without leaning to the side when going downstairs. She decided to stay on the second floor and watch from above, not wanting to add to the chaos.
Zhao Chenglei was willing to handle the situation, and he did so smoothly. However, Zhou Mu was too lazy to bother.
Zhao Chenglei rushed downstairs, and on the way, he closed the door to the second floor.
Jiang Xia could open the door from the inside, but those coming up the stairs without a key couldn't open the door to enter the second floor.
Downstairs, the two were still arguing loudly!

Da Biao Shun didn't expect to be spat on, and she wiped the spittle from her face with her sleeve. Then, she raised her hand to strike Zhou Mu.
At this moment, a figure rushed forward, pulling Zhou Mu back with one hand and swatting away the incoming hand with the other.
Zhao Chenglei pulled Zhou Mu back a few steps, his body blocking her path.
Da Biao Shun felt her entire arm go numb, and she looked up in anger. "Zhao Chenglei, you..."
Zhao Chenglei: "Shut up!"
Da Biao Shun moved her lips, wanting to say something, but when she lifted her eyelids and saw Zhao Chenglei's eyes, which had been through the mountains of corpses and seas of blood, she shivered. Her tongue seemed to freeze, and she couldn't make a sound.
