Chapter 512: Ivan: Impossible, Am I That Terrifying?
### Chapter 512: Ivan: Impossible, Am I That Terrifying?
Seeing his enemies all kneeling down, even those with Injury and bleeding, crawling over to kiss his robe and declaring their loyalty, Ivan was utterly bewildered, momentarily at a loss for what to do!
Ivan was also thoroughly confused by the ramblings of these Dark Wizards. What was all this nonsense about the Nott Family gathering forces to resist his rule? And what did he need so many servants for?
Despite his confusion, Ivan managed to extract some crucial information from their words. The Nott Family had been leading the opposition against Asia for the past few months!
Two years ago, Dawgert had told him that the Wizarding Market in Knockturn Alley was controlled by six Pureblood Wizards families, and the Nott Family was one of them!
Ivan instantly understood everything. He shifted his gaze to the few people kneeling before him, hesitating about how to handle them.
Initially, he had planned to interrogate them for information and then eliminate these Dark Wizards who dared to oppose him, to prevent the leak of blood magic secrets. But the current situation was different from what he had imagined.
As Ivan hesitated, a series of Magic Fluctuations suddenly rippled through the area. He turned his head sharply and saw figures clad in red and black Wizard Robes, easily more than twenty of them!
Ivan subconsciously tightened his grip on his wand, but he did not initiate an attack. He recognized several familiar faces in the crowd: Asia, Fenrir, and Dawgert were all there.
The Wizards who had come to support them were equally stunned by the scene before them!
The collapsed street walls and the four battered corpses vividly illustrated the intensity of the battle. What surprised them even more was the sight of three Dark Wizards trembling and kneeling before a young witches and wizards, who appeared to be around thirteen or fourteen years old.
Asia, the leader, was visibly delighted to see Ivan. She hurried over, intending to embrace him, but as she approached, she forcibly suppressed the joy of their reunion.
She merely patted Ivan on the shoulder and then turned her attention to the bodies in the alley and the three Dark Wizards on the ground, calmly asking what had happened.
Ivan was not bothered by Asia's slightly cold demeanor. From the situation, he understood that Asia had gathered many supporters to oppose the Nott Family and the Wizarding Market.
As a leader, she did not want to undermine the strong image she had built in public, which was understandable.
In response to Asia's inquiry, Ivan did not hold back. He recounted how he had returned home, triggered a trap, sensed something was amiss, and eventually went out to search.
"In the end, I just happened to see these people chasing Walker and dealt with them", Ivan said casually, as if he had merely swatted a few flies.
The three Dark Wizards kneeling on the ground loudly cursed the ignorant Nott Family and trembled in fear as they begged for Ivan's forgiveness, adding credibility to Ivan's account.
The Wizards in red and black robes, upon hearing Ivan's story, could not help but murmur among themselves. They found it hard to believe that all of this could have been done by a young witches and wizards.
But looking around at the scene, anyone could see that a fierce battle had indeed taken place!
As the last victor, Ivan looked completely unharmed, indicating that he had ended the battle with overwhelming power!
"Lord Hals, where's Walker?" Fenrir pushed aside a few Wizards and hurried over, not forgetting to use the Honorifics.
Ivan was initially stunned but quickly recovered.
Right, where was Walker?
He had been preoccupied with the practical applications of the Boggart transformation in combat and was taken aback by the Dark Wizards' reactions, inadvertently forgetting about Walker, the one he was supposed to rescue.
However, Ivan wasn't too worried about Walker's safety.
He had seen clearly that the spell that hit Walker wasn't lethal and had been partially blocked by a protective ring. Walker shouldn't have been seriously injured.
Sure enough, before Ivan could explain, Dobby appeared with Walker and the Dark Wizard who had fled earlier, coming from the other end of the alley.
"Move it! No funny business!" Dobby poked the Dark Wizard's back, urging him on.
The Dark Wizard shakily walked into the alley and immediately saw the bodies and blood on the ground. His surviving companions, pierced by several Conical Spikes, were kneeling before Ivan.
"Evil demon!" Upon seeing Ivan, the Dark Wizard immediately recalled the previous scenes and let out a shrill scream, trying to flee.
Walker immediately kicked him viciously, sending him sprawling near Ivan.
Ivan glanced down at him, and the Dark Wizard, as if losing all courage to resist, collapsed on the ground. He then quickly followed his companions, prostrating himself at Ivan's feet and pleading for mercy.
The Wizards who had arrived to provide support watched this silently, a chill running through their hearts. Even Asia was incredibly surprised, finding it hard to imagine how Ivan had managed to terrify these Dark Wizards so thoroughly.
Ivan himself was equally puzzled. Was he really that terrifying?
"Walker, are you alright?" Fenrir let out a sigh of relief upon seeing Walker unharmed but still asked with concern.
"I'm fine, Ivan Hals Sir saved me in time", Walker said gratefully, initially wanting to call Ivan by his name but remembering Fenrir's advice to use Honorifics in front of others.
"By the way, where's Elph? We got separated during the attack, how is he?" Walker suddenly remembered his companion and quickly looked around.
"I'm sorry, we were too late and couldn't save him!" Fenrir's expression turned sad as he stepped aside.
Several Werewolf Wizards brought a body forward, and Walker pressed his lips together, remaining silent for a long moment.
Although Walker had witnessed death before, the sudden loss of a comrade he had been joking with just a few hours ago was deeply painful.
Ivan also glanced over and saw that the deceased was a young Wizard he didn't recognize, likely one of Asia's recruits over the past few months.
