Norton Sag struck a match, lit a cigar, poured himself a drink, and leaned back against the throne behind him. With a snap of his fingers, he signaled for the meeting to begin.
The throne behind him was unique.
It was a towering structure with graceful lines exuding strength. Every carving was meticulously crafted, and the wide seat was inlaid with beast-head jade stones, making it both grand and solemn.
This throne was part of Big Mom's collection, and no one knew where she had acquired it. When Sag was taking inventory of the spoils of war, he had immediately taken a liking to it and brought it back to the meeting room.
There weren't many thrones that caught his eye.
The initial plunder of the jewel throne and the golden throne were now placed in the side hall and main hall, respectively. The velvet lion-head throne was in the banquet hall, and the blue sandwood throne had been moved to the captain's quarters on the Doom Star.
This 'Beaststone Throne,' however, was placed in the meeting room within the palace.
Sag had many thrones, but most were just temporary placeholders, not worthy of being called great thrones. Including this one, he now had only five such thrones.
Sag wondered if Kaido, that guy, had a habit of collecting throne spoils.
"I'll do the introduction."
Amidst the attention of the officers, Lily stood up and walked to a spacious area at the front. She pulled out a large curtain and activated the video Den Den Mushi, projecting a rough sea map.
The map showed the first half of the New World in the Grand Line, not very detailed, with only the main islands and some important points marked.
Places like Dressrosa, the moving Zou, Totland, Wano Country, and further on, all the way to Ohara, which was the endpoint of this map.
The map also had a dividing line, roughly extending downward from Ohara, encompassing Totland and Dressrosa. It resembled a giant beast with its mouth wide open, about to bite into Kaido's Wano Country.
Other smaller islands were not included on this map.
The current plan being discussed was strategic in nature. Ever since Sag became one of the Four Emperors, newly discovered islands were automatically considered his territory, with the only difference being whether they were known or unknown.
Only a fellow Four Emperor like Kaido would be marked on this map.
"I won't show the second half of the map. Blackbeard and Red-Haired Shanks are the two most powerful forces in the latter half. Blackbeard, as an ally who formed an alliance with Sag, is currently trustworthy. He can keep an eye on Red-Haired Shanks, ensuring our dominance in the first half of the sea."
Lily continued, "Totland is also within our sphere of influence now, although it will take time to fully integrate. It's just a matter of time, and we don't have to worry about safety and stability for now. Katakuri is an excellent guardian."
"Now..."
She pointed at the area on the map belonging to Kaido's influence, "The biggest obstacle to unifying the first half is right here. Our current plan is just one step away from completion."
