This meant purchasing items like sofas, coffee tables, a luxurious conference table, and upgrading the wallpaper and flooring to something more aesthetically pleasing. These days, the group had grown quite close. Even when offline, they chatted regularly outside of Terrifying Paradise. They had already discussed the Peak Conquest Tournament extensively in recent days, so upon logging in this time, the four focused less on the tournament itself and more on the rewards.

After careful consideration, Feng Bu Jue decided to temporarily remove 【Evil King Flame Hellfire】from his skill bar. While it was an active attack skill, his current arsenal of combat techniques was already extensive. He could spare one. Perhaps when his level increased further, he could replace the passive skill 【Ice Alchemist’s Perseverance】, but for now, it was still better to keep it.
"Alright… " Feng Bu Jue finished organizing his inventory and stood before the touchscreen. "Time for a long-awaited Nightmare Scenario…"

"Hmm… feels like we’re descending… " Feng Bu Jue muttered as he listened to the system prompt. "This entry method probably skips the opening CG too."

Suddenly, the touchscreen beside Feng Bu Jue automatically shifted displays. An irregular, wavy black-and-white pattern flickered on the screen, accompanied by eerie static.
This was the sort of visual distortion common on older televisions from the 1980s and 1990s that used antennas for signals. After cathode-ray tube technology advanced, even signal-free channels displayed only fine, regular specks of static. The kind of distortion Feng Bu Jue now saw was rarely encountered anymore.
Still, Feng Bu Jue had seen his fair share of old horror films and recognized this trope immediately.
"Zzzt… You… crackle… zzzt… again… " The distorted image crackled with disjointed speech—seemingly a man’s voice. "Zzzt… late again…"
Feng Bu Jue cautiously approached the screen, frowning as he leaned closer. His mind raced: Is this the plot summary?
