Usopp: "The screen with the white border we just saw seemed to have Luffy as the main character. What will this red-bordered screen play?"

[In front of the main house, a group of bandits faced a burly old man in a black suit.]

[Next to the old man stood a seven-year-old boy wearing a straw hat, idly picking his nose...]

The scene looked eerily familiar.

Marco: "Didn’t we see this scene before? Or am I losing my memory...?"

Jozu: "It’s not you losing your memory—I remember seeing it too."

Gion: "Why does it look exactly like the one we saw earlier?"

Kureha: "Don’t rush. Let’s keep watching... There must be a reason behind this."

Rocks D. Xebec: "Are they messing with us?"

Just as everyone was puzzled, something different happened in the scene.

[Ace appeared again with the same disdainful expression.]

[He glanced at Luffy, then picked up an iron pipe and left.]

["You’re not going to go play with him?"]

[Bandit Dadan was surprised to see Luffy ignoring Ace.]

[She assumed kids their age would naturally get along.]

["Time is precious. Why waste it playing around? My grandpa sent me here to train, not to fool around with some brat playing house games."]

[Luffy smirked and shook his head casually.]

Usopp: "What?? Luffy actually said something like that?!"

Trafalgar Law: "Hey... This red-framed Straw Hat looks kinda cool when he talks..."

Portgas D. Ace: "Ah... Even though I know it’s not our Luffy, hearing him talk like that makes me want to beat him up!"

Monkey D. Luffy: "Don’t worry, Ace. I’m not stupid like him!"

Monkey D. Garp: "Idiot!! What nonsense are you spouting! Clearly, the red-framed Luffy is doing the right thing! If you worked as hard as him, you’d at least be a Navy Vice Admiral by now!"

Monkey D. Luffy: "Grandpa, talking is easy! I don’t believe he can actually achieve anything through training!"

["Oh~ Who gave you permission to speak like an adult? Since your grandpa sent you here, starting today, you’ll work for us. No free meals!"]

[Dadan cracked her knuckles.]

[Truthfully, she didn’t mean it. If Luffy slacked off, she wouldn’t scold him.]

["Don’t mess around! Didn’t I say time is precious? I’m going to train. I’ll come back for lunch. Oh, make sure there’s plenty of food—I eat a lot!"]

[Luffy waved dismissively and headed toward the nearby woods.]
