Chapter 464: Respawn and Seize
“Stop—!”
The roar of the Fire Titan Great Sultan shook the very fabric of the Elemental Plane of Fire, its thunderous voice echoing across the scorched skies. Ash and Ember Sparks spiraled chaotically through the air, and every native inhabitant of the realm trembled in dread.
Great Sultan—such a name belonged only to legends, the immortal monarch who had ruled this land for millennia. A being of divine stature, a sovereign of fire and flame, he was worshipped as a living god among the elemental denizens.
But Kai Xiusu paid no heed.
Instead, he accelerated, folding his wings into a dive, plunging ever closer toward the shattered remains of the Fire Giant.
“Damn it… you insolent, death-seeking Red Dragon!”
Another bellow tore through the air.
Fire and smoke writhed and swirled, coalescing into a towering humanoid form—hundreds of meters tall, a crimson colossus standing firm upon the earth. He wore a heavy crown, a golden robe woven with threads of flame, and gripped a colossal Scepter, the sacred symbol of dominion over his realm. Behind him churned an endless Sea of Flames, storm clouds roared, and ash rained like dying embers.
This was the supreme ruler of the Elemental Plane of Fire—the master of the City of Brass, the Fire Titan Great Sultan.
Noble. Unfathomably powerful.
The words echoed in every mind present, sending shivers down their spines.
“Lord of Flame…”
Yet none noticed—his form flickered, wavering, as if barely real.
Kai Xiusu, however, did not slow. He merely let out a cold, mocking laugh, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
“Great Sultan, Your Majesty… do you truly believe a mere projection can intimidate me?”
“Have you actually deluded yourself into thinking you’re a deity?”
The crimson giant’s eyes flared in fury. His massive face twisted, distorted by rage.
How dare he!
To insult him—directly—before his very eyes!
The words struck deep, touching the core of a millennia-long obsession: the dream of ascension to godhood. A dream that had never been fulfilled.
In that moment of stunned disbelief, Kai Xiusu had already reached Ismael’s corpse.
The Red Dragon opened his maw, and a swirling vortex of spell energy erupted from within, sucking in everything around it.
【Dragon Absorption】
To consume Ismael’s Soul Essence in broad daylight—this was not just an act of theft. It was a profound insult, a brazen act of desecration. Ismael Enver was no ordinary warrior. He was one of the Fire Titan Pashas—directly trained by the Great Sultan himself, the very foundation of the Fire Titan Realm’s strength. A vessel of immense power, a living conduit for the Sultan’s semi-divine essence.
“You dare—”
The Great Sultan roared again, but his voice cracked with urgency. He reached toward Ismael’s remains.
“My last hope… Ismael Enver—Respawn!”
With the cry, a flood of radiant light enveloped the corpse. Power surged through the body, distorting reality itself.
The fire, ash, and smoke that had once been part of the fallen giant reversed their flight—flowing backward like time itself was rewinding, reclaiming the shattered form.
By the laws of the plane, the most powerful Psionic entity could grant three wishes—but only to non-giant beings.
Yet the Great Sultan had long since shattered the limitations of plane law. He had twisted the Pact between Titans and the Elemental Plane, forcing the Wish Granting magic to manifest upon Ismael’s body—using miraculous power to resurrect him.
“Wish Granting?”
Kai Xiusu narrowed his pale golden eyes, scales flickering. In their depths, the jagged spines of the Wish Granting’s light reflected.
But greed quickly eclipsed wonder.
“Then I’ll just have to stop you.”
His spell vortex intensified, the pull growing more terrifying—surpassing even the peak of the Nine-Ring Spell, becoming a maw like a black hole.
【Metamagic: Empower Spell】
Under the force of that overwhelming suction, Ismael’s reconstituting body began to fracture once more, torn apart and pulled toward the Red Dragon.
“Stop!”
“Insolent Red Dragon!”
The Great Sultan raised his spectral Scepter, swinging it through the orange-hued sky.
Boom!
Thousands of flaming chains erupted from the ground, shooting upward toward Kai Xiusu, aiming to bind him in place.
But crimson fire swirled around the Red Dragon, and his crown glowed with a blinding white radiance.
Chaos Flame!
Bahamut’s Order Light!
The combined strength of two Dragon Gods erupted from Kai Xiusu, allowing him to remain steadfast—resisting the semi-divine power that sought to overwhelm him.
“Damn it… divine power!”
“Two different kinds of divine power at once! What kind of monster is this—?”
The Great Sultan’s face darkened. He swung the Scepter violently, drawing arcs in the air, unleashing more and more power.
The entire Elemental Plane of Fire trembled under his will.
Ten thousand flaming chains surged from every direction—but each was shattered by the barrier of divine flame and white light.
Whoosh—
The Wish Granting reached completion.
Ismael emerged whole and intact from the sky, his face frozen in shock, still processing the moment of death.
“I… I died?” He touched his head, voice trembling. “How… how am I alive?”
But before he could comprehend, Kai Xiusu lunged forward—his jaws snapping shut around the Essence Spirit that still pulsed with the raw power of the Elemental Plane of Fire.
He tore off most of it.
“No—!”
“You can’t do this!”
The Great Sultan trembled with fury, his form flickering violently.
Had he been in his true form, he could have shattered the remnants of divine power and slain the Red Dragon instantly.
But this was only a projection. A shadow. A phantom.
He could only watch helplessly as his millennia-treasured Pasha—his foundation, his power vessel, the key to his own divine ascension—was devoured in half by a dragon’s maw.
And Kai Xiusu…
He felt it.
The flood of elemental power surged through his body—overwhelming, intoxicating.
A wave of pure, raw strength.
His heart pounded like a war drum, pumping the energy through every vein, every cell.
But more than that—something deeper stirred.
A sense of control.
Like the moment he first claimed 【Kingdom Domain】—a new connection, a new path.
His Character Sheet flared to life, refreshing with new information.

Arcane knowledge flooded Kai Xiusu’s mind—vast, complex, intoxicating.
“This power… if I could devour all of Ismael… could I advance even further?”
In a haze of euphoria, the greedy Red Dragon thought.
He opened his maw again.
Another Spell Vortex formed.
He would cast 【Dragon Absorption】 a second time.
He would consume every last ounce of Ismael’s strength.
But the light on the corpse grew brighter.
Fire and ash gathered in greater and greater quantities.
Whoosh—
The Wish Spell completed.
Ismael stood whole in the sky—unharmed, unbroken—his face still etched with the shock of resurrection.
“I… I died?”
He touched his head, voice filled with disbelief.
“How… how am I alive?”
