Flampe buried her face into Katakuri's chest again, leaning into her most admired older brother's warm embrace.

Charlotte Big Mom roared with laughter, glaring at Kuro. "Then go die, Viguo!"
She gripped her Long Blade with both hands and unleashed another 'Viguo'.
A powerful shockwave surged toward Kuro, instantly engulfing his body.
"Great! Mother took him down!"
Flampe cheered. "This is the price of rejecting me!"
"Mother, behind you!"
Suddenly, Katakuri shouted.
From Charlotte Big Mom's rear, a wisp-like figure rapidly ascended, emitting a crescent-shaped Black Radiance that shot toward her neck.
"Afterimage: Crescent Moon Slash!"

Charlotte Big Mom swung her other arm, cloaked in Armament Haki, casually leaning back to block Kuro's attack with her forearm.
The Black Blade met her arm, producing a thunderous boom.
"Mama-mama-mama, your speed's impressive", Charlotte Big Mom chuckled, her eyes flaring open as she swung her arm forward.
Kuro felt an immense elasticity rebound his blade, sending his body flying backward.

After deflecting Kuro, Charlotte Big Mom gripped Napoleon with both hands and swung it down with a fierce strike.
"Break Break Blade!"

The strike hit an afterimage again. The afterimage flickered several times around her before swiftly returning to its previous aerial position.
"Future prediction?"
Kuro glanced at Katakuri beside him. "Truly troublesome Observation Haki."
He raised Autumn Water vertically above his head, aiming at the Sky. "But can you predict this?"
The Sky suddenly darkened. Pea-sized raindrops fell from the heavens.
Before those two troublesome Homies arrived, he'd strike first!
"Mama-mama-mama, seems like troublesome rain", Charlotte Big Mom laughed. "But it's useless!"
"Mother!!"

Near Cake Island's sea area, a massive wave suddenly surged upward like a towering wall, forming a tsunami.
Within this tsunami appeared a humanoid face, covering half of Cake Island. It blocked the Sky above Charlotte Big Mom, absorbing the falling rain into its body.

"Go! Drown him!" Charlotte Big Mom pointed at Kuro.
"At once, Mother!"
The wave Homies extended forward, engulfing Kuro in a crushing wave.
"Sea water?"
Kuro hesitated, then swung Autumn Water downward, creating hundreds of afterimages.
"Slash Wave: Chaos!"

Countless golden slashes chaotically surged forward, slicing the wave into segments. The massive wave split apart, crashing down as giant water masses.
The falling water masses packed immense destructive power. Upon impact, they shattered the remaining intact sweet shops. Homies caught in the deluge were reduced to fragments.
Turning Cake Island into even greater chaos.
"Ow! Ow! Ow!"
The wave Homies cried out in pain, but their bodies, connected to the surrounding sea area, regenerated instantly. The severed parts expanded back to their original size, continuing to swallow Kuro.
"Cutting your roots!"
Kuro slashed horizontally with Slash Wave, aiming at the base of the Homies' body connected to the sea.
"Viguo!"
A boomerang-like slash intercepted the golden strike, deflecting the 'Slash Wave' back toward Kuro.
Charlotte Big Mom's face twisted grimly. "Mama-mama-mama, how could I possibly let you have that chance!"
"Tch!"
Kuro clicked his tongue, tightening his grip on Autumn Water. His face hardened as he swept Haki across the blade, deflecting the 'Viguo'.
As the blade and shockwave clashed, sending sparks flying, Kuro suddenly swung sideways, hurling the shockwave away. Then he shot forward like a projectile toward Charlotte Big Mom.
"Come on! At worst, we'll both drown!"
He never expected to be ambushed by sea water. His first instinct was to counter with the same technique.
But recalling how the rain had been absorbed, he realized the sea water would likely do the same. Worse, these Homies were essentially living beings. His abilities couldn't directly affect lifeforms. Using sea water against them would be handing them free power.
Only he could exploit others, not the other way around.

Kuro gripped his blade with both hands. An Azure Dragon's shadow faintly appeared around Autumn Water. He bent one leg, his body sliding like a blur, preparing to glide past Charlotte Big Mom.

Suddenly, an overwhelming spiritual pressure surged toward Kuro, halting his movements momentarily.
Looking up, Charlotte Big Mom's eyes blazed pink. Conqueror's Haki erupted from her, a pink aura swirling like a tornado around her.

Flampe gasped, rolling her eyes before fainting in Katakuri's arms.
All living beings on Cake Island collapsed unconscious under the Conqueror's Haki.
Only the largest, strongest Homies remained standing.
"Mother's Conqueror's Haki..." Katakuri pressed his lips. "To push Mother to this extent!"
At that moment, Charlotte Big Mom snapped out of her paralysis. Her other hand clenched into a fist cloaked in Armament Haki, slamming into Kuro's waist.
Kuro gritted his teeth, his body surging forward as his blade slashed at Charlotte Big Mom's waist.
Both attacks landed simultaneously.

As Charlotte Big Mom's waistband dress tore, Kuro's body was struck by the fist, flying like a cannonball to crash onto the ground, raising a cloud of smoke and dust.
