Chapter 460: The House-Elves in the Top Box
Chapter 460: The House-Elves in the Top Box
Professor McGonagall and the others would never take the students' things for free, even if Kyle and the others repeatedly insisted that it was fine.
Perhaps it was to support their own students, but in the end, the three professors bought twenty Galleons worth of items each. If not for the fact that they couldn't carry any more, they would have bought even more, embracing a wild shopping spree.
Whether they needed it or not, they bought it first.
After bidding farewell to the three professors, the group continued forward. They saw a tent with a garden and a turret, resembling a small palace.
"Wow, this is luxurious..." Fred couldn't help but exclaim.
"This is probably the largest tent in the camp."
However, there were no signs on this tent, and they couldn't recognize who it belonged to.
As the afternoon passed, the excitement in the air was like a tangible cloud, spreading over the campsite.
At dusk, more and more vendors appeared, using Apparition to appear in the most crowded areas to sell their goods.
Fortunately, at this time, Kyle and the others had already packed up their cart and were heading towards the Weasley family's campsite.
Most of their items had been sold, leaving only a few fireworks and flags, which they decided to keep for themselves.
The three of them made their way through the crowded and lively crowd, returning to their tent.
Mr. Weasley had already put on the items he had purchased, holding a flag in his hand. The others were also wearing different items, making it easy to tell which team they were supporting at a glance.
"Thank goodness, I was just about to go look for you," Mr. Weasley said to Fred and George, "The match is about to start, don't run around."
As he spoke, a deep and resonant gong sound echoed from somewhere in the distant forest.
Tens of thousands of red and green lanterns bloomed with light on the trees, illuminating the path leading to the stadium.
"It's time to enter the stadium," Mr. Weasley said excitedly, "Come on, let's go."
He led the way at the front, and everyone quickly followed the lantern-lit passage into the forest. They could hear thousands of people moving around them, along with shouts, laughter, and intermittent singing... Everyone was filled with excitement.
After about twenty minutes, they left the forest and arrived in front of a massive stadium.
It was so vast that Kyle could only see a portion of the majestic golden wall surrounding the stadium, feeling that it could easily accommodate ten Hogwarts castles.
"It can accommodate up to one hundred thousand spectators," Mr. Weasley said with a smile, leading everyone towards the nearest entrance, "Five hundred Ministry of Magic staff worked on it for an entire year."
The entrance was surrounded by many shouting and yelling witches and wizards, and it took them ten minutes of queuing before it was finally their turn.
"First-class tickets," the Ministry of Magic witch at the entrance examined their tickets and said, "Top box, keep going upstairs, Arthur, all the way to the top."
"Thank you, Olive."
Mr. Weasley said, leading everyone up the stairs covered in crimson-purple carpet, "Stay close, don't fall behind, Bill, you're at the back."
"Okay, Dad," Bill replied.
They climbed upwards, as if ascending Sneakoscope Hill once again, finally reaching the topmost position.
There were three boxes at this level, and Mr. Weasley identified them before entering the middle one.
Inside were around twenty purple-gilded chairs, arranged in two rows, facing the golden goalposts.
They walked to the front railing, from where they could overlook the entire stadium.
The most eye-catching sight was a huge billboard in the stands, constantly flashing golden words.
Cornflower: Flying Broomsticks for the Whole Family... Elegance Brand Wizard Robes, London, Paris, Hogsmeade...
"Oh, one day, there will be an advertisement for our Weasley's Joke Shop here too..." Fred couldn't help but say.
"Advertising here must cost thousands of Galleons, maybe even tens of thousands," Kyle said.
"That expensive?" George exclaimed in disbelief.
Mr. Weasley chuckled, "Don't forget, this is the biggest event in the wizarding world. You won't find this many wizards gathered in one place anywhere else."
George pursed his lips and turned to Fred, "I think everyone is here for the Quidditch match. I doubt anyone will notice the advertisements."
"That's right," Fred nodded seriously, "I think promoting it in Hogsmeade should be enough..."
The group turned their attention back to the match.
Fred noticed that Kyle wasn't looking at the game but was staring at a fixed spot.
"What are you looking at?" Fred asked.
Following Kyle's gaze, he noticed a house-elf sitting in the second-to-last seat of the second row.
Fred initially thought it was Kreacher, who had apparated in with Cona, but he quickly realized that this house-elf was older than Kreacher.
"Dobby?" Harry also spotted the house-elf and called out unconsciously.
"Did the master just call me Dobby?" The house-elf raised its head and asked curiously, its voice high-pitched and slightly trembling, creating an unpleasant sound.
"Sorry," Harry realized he had mistaken the elf for someone else, "I thought you were a house-elf I knew before."

"But I know Dobby too, master," the house-elf said in a shrill voice.
At that moment, the box door opened again, and two Aurors entered.
"Oh, Kingsley, Pius..." Mr. Weasley quickly walked over, "Are you here to watch the match too?"
"No, Arthur, we can't watch the match," one of the Aurors shook his head, "We're just here to say hello. It's our luck that we're not on duty and managed to get such great tickets."
"Thanks to Ludo," Mr. Weasley said with a smile.
Kyle looked at the two Aurors and after a moment's thought, he casually walked over to the house-elf.
The house-elf was still talking to Harry about Dobby when Kyle sat down next to it.
"No, this seat is reserved for my master, Shiny..."
Amidst the screams, Kyle sat down.
The screams grew louder, as if piercing eardrums.
The commotion immediately caught everyone's attention.
Mr. Weasley turned around and said, "Kyle, you're in the wrong seat. Our seats are in the first row."
"Oh, sorry."
Kyle stood up and naturally walked past the house-elf called Shiny, but as the passage was narrow, he accidentally kicked the leg of the chair on the other side.
The chair was kicked far away, wobbling and almost tipping over.
"Sorry, it was an accident," Kyle reached out, grabbed the chair, and repositioned it, patting it gently.
Shiny glared at him, her eyes wide with anger, like two dishes filled with chili peppers.
However, aside from her, no one else seemed to notice the incident. The two Aurors exchanged a few more words with Mr. Weasley before leaving.
Cona asked Kyle if his foot was okay.
"It's fine," Kyle shook his head.
He glanced at the house-elf Shiny once more and walked to the first-row seat.
