With a snap of her jaw, a scorching flame vortex appeared on the open ground.
Soon, she had completed the five Flame Vortices.

Fangflare wagged her tail, her eyes shining brightly as she looked at her Beastmaster.
"Great job", Qiao Sang praised, feigning ignorance of Fangflare’s meaning. "You must be tired. Let’s go home."
Today’s skill development experiment had been a success, and Flame Vortex had a 100% success rate, just as she had hoped.
Now, she needed to hurry home and think about how to make some money.
Qiao Sang turned to leave, but her right foot felt heavy.
Looking down, she saw Fangflare biting her pant leg.

Seeing her Beastmaster stop, Fangflare quickly released her bite and gestured with her paws.
She didn’t want to go home!

Fangflare wilted.
Qiao Sang watched helplessly.

"The room is tidy; you can now explain the two-week leave", Mother said.
