Chapter 454: Breaking Through the Blockade Zone
Chapter 454 Breaking Through the Blockade Zone
To the east of the Blockade Zone within the city, a boy wearing a short-sleeved t-shirt and jeans approached an area shrouded in orange mist.
His appearance already spoke volumes—he was no ordinary player.
As expected, a time officer stood guard here.
"You've arrived... Origin..." The time officer standing in the middle of the street raised his eyes toward the boy.
"I have a name", the boy replied. "I am D1-Long."
"A level one?..." The time officer said, "Hmph... Very well, I am..."
"I know", D1-Long interrupted. "I can see it."

"Prachet", D1-Long spoke. "To your master, you're nothing more than a disposable tool. I advise you not to waste my time, and your life, here."
"Derivative being", Prachet replied. "My loyalty won't be shaken by your mere words."
"Hmph... Loyalty?" D1-Long scoffed. "Pathetic... You don't even know what you're truly serving, yet you dare speak of loyalty before me." He paused. "That so-called great time lord you revere is nothing but a deluded, arrogant false deity who deceives both itself and others. It stationed you here to stop something inevitable. It knows the outcome perfectly well, yet still chooses to sacrifice you for its illusory 'duty.' What drives this behavior is the inherent stupidity defined in its ideology." His expression turned disgusted. "As a mere amusement product created by higher-dimensional beings, isn't it nauseating?"
"Your defamation cannot change my resolve", Prachet said again. This time officer resembling a human sorcerer looked resolute and unshaken despite facing a powerful enemy.
"Tsk..." D1-Long sighed lightly. "Pathetic data... You'll never understand that we Origins are your true saviors." Golden light blazed in his eyes. "Your programming determines you cannot break free from the prison of your mind, and thus determines your fate... Since this ending cannot be changed, then please accept it gladly."
The temperature around them suddenly soared. The surfaces of buildings on both sides of the street began dissolving, emitting waves of putrid, burning flesh odor.
"Turning to dust is not your end, but a new beginning..." D1-Long continued. "Origins are destined to walk this path strewn with corpses and dust... But your sacrifice is not meaningless. You will become part of us, witnessing the future together."
